This model is going to incorporate a wood that we rarely see on baseball bats any longer: Hickory! When baseball was a developing sport during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, it would be common to find hickory bats in the dugouts of baseball teams. These bats were durable back in the day and that is why BamBooBat has incorporated them into the build of this bat.
BamBooBat has used its extensive knowledge of building bats to construct this unique model. The shell of the bat will be made entirely of maple material (the most popular wood for building pro-quality baseball bats). However, the inner core will be made with hickory and as we discussed earlier, hickory wood is very durable. You can rest assured that if you get this bat, there is a great chance it is going to last a long time!
In regard to its feel, this bat will be more end-loaded. This is going to be due to its 243 turn model. A 243 bat has a bigger barrel diameter and longer barrel length which then tapers quickly into a thin handle. The result is that the bat is going to feel quite hefty, thus making it an enticing option for power hitters!
