This model is going to incorporate a wood that we rarely see on baseball bats any longer: Hickory! When baseball was a developing sport during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, it would be common to find hickory bats in the dugouts of baseball teams. These bats were durable back in the day and that is why BamBooBat has incorporated them into the build of this bat.
BamBooBat has used its extensive knowledge of building bats to construct this unique model. The shell of the bat will be made entirely of bamboo material. However, the inner core will be made with a combination of hickory and bamboo. Hickory is super durable and so is bamboo. You can rest assured that if you get this bat, there is a great chance it is going to last a long time!
The bat is going to be made in the very popular 271 turn model. 271 bats are cut to be more balanced while also featuring a little thinner handle (when compared to some super balanced bats that have thick handles). This style of bat is universally loved by all types of hitters. You'll find both contact and power hitters reaching for this type of wood bat.
