Great bat - light swing weight Anonymous Parent

Pros: My son is on the smaller side and sensitive to the vibration experienced in -11 and lighter USA bats. This bat has little to no vibration - my son has really been bothered by vibration in the past and there are no issues with this bat. It also has a very balanced and light swing weight. The bat, like most USA bats, weighs more than what is listed, however the light swing weight makes this a non-issue. My son, who is smaller, is able to generate good bat speed without dropping the head. My son just turned 10 and is swinging the 29 inch model. I recommend this bat for kids needing a lighter swinging USA bat with great balance and no vibration.

Cons: There is a little less pop in this bat than his last USA bats (louisville slugger solo and Easton Beast Speed). Also, the sweet spot is reduced on this bat compared to the other two I mentioned. However, the design of the bat handle along with a light swing weight has given my son great control with his swing and he is able to consistently barrel it up despite the smaller sweet spot - so the reduced sweet spot has not been an issue.

What a BAT!!! Justin Jessie Parent

Pros: My son has been using a Demarini, good bat but alil heavy and awkward on his swing around. His coach recommended an axe bat to help level his swing. My 12 year old son went 4 for 4 his 1st game using it and hit his 1st homerun of his career that game. The handle prevents any handle roll and it is so light that his swing has become perfectly level and the power he can generate is unreal! It has more pop than his fancy $400 composite Demarini all day. The sound of the ball hitting this bat is beautiful. My son was batting with a .225 average before, we are 7 games in using his Axe Hero, and he is now batting at a .750 average and has 4homeruns!!! The results speak for themselves!!!

Cons: If there's any cons, it would have to be the price range. Axe bats are priced way lower than the bats they are comparable to, so based on pricing, it may make you think that there's no way they are such good bats when they are half the price of comparable bats.

Great bat TurkeyLegg Coach

Pros: My son is swinging the 29". He is 4' 6" tall and 8 years old. This is his go to bat. This bat is hot. It has more pop than our Louisville Slugger Prime, Easton Pro Comp (even broken in), and AXE Avenge Pro. The ball just jumps off of this bat. We've had this bat for two full seasons and he's tried so many other bats. At the end of the spring season he came back to this one while we were hitting off the machine, working on timing and shortening his swing. He used it during all stars and was hitting triples out to the fence very consistently. Vibration doesn't seem to be an issue.

Cons: The sound that this bat makes when you square one up is very high-pitched and loud. My son has commented multiple times that his ears were ringing after a big hit.
