Bat Benefits
This bat will serve 13 and 14 year old players well. Be sure to know that within the 13U division of USSSA, you must use either a drop 8 or drop 5 bat. And at the 14U division of USSSA, you can only use drop 5 bats like this Axe Elite.
Axe outfits this bat with the Vibration Cancelling System that will certainly keep your batter's hands comfortable. It combines the (1) connection piece, (2) Flex Axe handle and (3) Endogrid Tech in the Flex Axe handle. All three of these components make the bat especially comfortable to swing even if you don't square up the baseball.
Lastly, be sure to know that the MX8 Alloy Barrel could feel a little end loaded on this two-piece, hybrid baseball bat.

Is this a good bat for an 11 year old to move up in weight to a drop 5? He's always wanted to try the ax line of bats. He's on the small side but his coach has him already playing 13u and wants him to get used to heavier bats. Thanks for your time. Jason Jason
