Bat Benefits
This maple wood bat from Axe is just a little off in its weight (could be lighter or heavier). However, the straightness of the maple grains should be excellent. You can get this bat with excellent wood quality and save $50 when compared to what you would pay for an absolute top of the line maplebat from Axe. This specific bat will come with a 243 turn model which is excellent for power hitters because the extra weight in the barrel can create more force when contacting a ball. That extra force leads to harder anfd further hits!
As always with the Axe Bats, count on getting the patented Axe handle which allows a player to swing the bat faster and control it better too. If you want to take a shot on this new bat handle technology that is sweeping over youth, amateur and professional baseball; then you need to get an Axe!

Can't find a blem! Rake Player
Pros: Awesome bat, cool matte black. Great feel, great pop.
Cons: Haven't found one yet, but I did order another one in the meantime.
Excellent Bat for the Price!!! James L. Player
Pros: Very good feel and performance along with the Axe Handle!
Cons: None!!!
Great bat but !!!! Mario S Player
Pros: Great feeling bat
Cons: The black finish was smearing off. It got on my batting gloves and hands
34/32.5 Luke Player
Pros: Bought 2, both very hard and high quality wood. High exit velos for me against guys throwing mid 80s, 2 HRs in 9 games. When you barrel a pitch, you don't feel it at all (with Lizard Skin bat tape). Weighed both with a food scale, 32.4 oz and 32.5oz both with Lizard Skin bat tape. I have had a number of pitches get me on the hands for ground balls or pop ups and by some miracle the bat has not broken. I originally went with Axe because of the increased surface area when holding the bat reducing risk for hammate bone fractures, but have really appreciated the increased bat speed and barrel control as well.
Cons: One of the 2 has an improperly cut handle, so its more round than the indented axe handle, so I use it as my BP bat. No additional coating, so every ball leaves a white scuff mark, but you get what you pay for. I believe these are "blem" because the intended weight is too far off the mark, and both have been on the "too heavy" side for me. Luckily, I prefer them that way.
Broke after 2 games Joseph Player
Pros: I loved the bat it was great while it lasted had two very good games with it
Cons: Broke after 9 at bats not worth it to get these blem bats my teammate got one and it broke in his first game with it

About the Brand
Launched by Baden Sports in 2011, the Axe line of bats was hailed as a breakthrough in bat technology by players and coaches from youth leagues to the Pros. The makers of the Axe line of bats often pose the question, "What does your traditional knob do for you?" Most players don't have a good answer. Axe engineers have created a handle that is not only more comfortable and safer in terms of hand injuries, but also helps improve the hitter's swing by keeping them on an even plane. Although Axe is new to the market, they are backed by Baden Sports, Inc., an independent, family-owned company that has been making baseball products since 1979. Their passion to create a better game is unparalleled, making it no surprise that the Axe handle is set to be baseball's next big thing.
