I'm looking to upgrade my son's bat for this year. He's 9 yrs old and currently has the Beast Speed 28/18. He swings it just fine so I'm going to stay with the same size. My question is, is this bat weighted correctly? In other words, how close to 18 oz is this bat? I know some are supposed to be 18 oz and are more like 19.5. I'm looking for a bat that he can swing with good bat speed that has good exit velo but won't hurt too bad on miss hits. Eric Smith
