Description

March into the new season with this Mizuno Power Carbon baseball bat. Engineered specifically for power hitters looking for balance and agility, this Mizuno bat offers high performance and dynamic movement. Forged from Black Onyx Carbon, a durable material that takes less time to break in, this Mizuno bat will be game-ready after just a few practices with the team. The longer, streamlined bat barrel lengthens the sweet spot and gives you more flexibility to swing away in the batter's box. The Mizuno Power Ring technology decreases the compression inside the barrel. This results in a shuddering, booming pop off the head of the bat, and is sure to make the pitcher quake in his cleats. Plus, with the solid carbon handle and Mizuno's Speed-Helix Grip, your power shots will transfer energy to the ball, and not your hands. Mizuno: Driven By Athletes. Crafted To Win!

This Mizuno Power Carbon BBCOR baseball bat (BB19MPC) features a drop 3 length to weight ratio, a 2 5/8-inch barrel diameter, and is BBCOR certified, meaning it is approved for high school and college play. If you miss Combat, get this. TxTornado Other

Pros: One piece composite construction, wood bat feel and sound with stiff composite performance. Excellent pop right out of the wrapper, feels like it'll get hotter as it gets broken in. Reminiscent of the Combat Portent, HUGE barrel, big sweet spot, hits rods like the old Combats too.

Cons: Stings like a single piece composite. People say it sounds dead (as it's hitting balls to the fence). Personally, I'm sick of bats that sound like a church bell anyway. Some may not like the slight end load.

Looks like a club! Cayden Player

Pros: When I first pulled out the bat, the first thing I noticed was the barrel size, HOLY COW the barrel is long. Looks like a club rather than a bat. First few swings I noticed a lot of vibration but after about 50 balls hit the vibration went away. This bat does require some breakin but after break in THIS BAT RAKES. As a 6’2 220 player, this bat is for power hitters, notable end weight. Once you connect with the ball, it jumps of the bat with a staifising BOOM.

Cons: Bat is not ready “out of box” I experienced tons of vibration the first 50 swings. Aftcwoer that you notice vibration goes down and power goes up. HIT ON ALL SIDES OF BAT WHEN BREAKING IN

Was the Mizuno Ghost bat renamed to Power Carbon? CKIM

Ben
Is there great pop off this bat or the MAXCOR Carbon? Why is the hybrid bat $100.00 more than the fully composite bat? I have never seen that before. Joe
Both bats will have very good and very similar pop. The BBCOR standard restricts the amount of pop a bat can have, so manufacturers make their bats to perform at the maximum possible allowed. The MAXCOR Carbon is more expensive because it is a two-piece design, whereas the Power Carbon is a one-piece design. Two-piece designs are more expensive to make.

I believe COMBAT was bought out by Easton, is this bat essentially the now Easton branded COMBAT Maxum? Matt
This Mizuno Power Carbon BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB19MPC) is a Mizuno brand bat and will be made in Mizuno factories. However, COMBAT bats are being made in Easton factories. That being said, I believe that Easton mimics the style in which COMBAT made the bats as much as possible.
Ben
Why has this bat been discontinued? Logan Seddon
The Mizuno Power Carbon BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB19MPC was discontinued because Mizuno is preparing to release their new bats.
