Dang Ole Good Bat Aaron Player

Pros: Had a really good feel in the cage. It had amazing pop. It held up really well after hitting over 100 pitches. The grip helps with the balance of the bat. It didn’t feel like I was swinging an axe like some end-loadeds do. I would definitely recommend it.

Cons: Had a bit of vibration when hit on the inside of the bat.

Insane Pop Kade Player

Pros: The pop plays big on this bat. I'm a junior in college so I have swung a ton of bats and this one probably has the most pop along the barrel. I mean balls almost on the neck all the way to the cap seem to fly much better than other bats I have swung. This is coming from a guy who up to now believed all bats were equal in pop and sweet spot due to the BBCOR standards. I had previously believed you should just pick the bat based on how you like the feel and the sound. Not anymore this bat really stands out.

Cons: The feel is not good. If you miss a ball, you may send it, but it is going to hurt. Not a good bat for the cages, but an advantage in the game. Balls you think you mishit will ring your hands but it really shines on the field. I'm also not a fan of the high pitched ping. It sounds like the old BESR bats, which is just not something I personally prefer.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Easton Project 3 Alpha XL BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB19ALX? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

How much difference is there in balance between the XL and the regular version of the Alpha? Mack Palmer
How much of a difference you feel will really depend on the player. Some will notice more of a difference than others. Most end-loaded models like the XL Alpha will have roughly a .5 oz end load, meaning the manufacturer has shifted .5 oz towards the end of the bat instead of even distributing the weight throughout.

Out of the Easton Alpha XL, the regular Alpha, and the Easton Fuze, which one has the most pop? Which one has the longest barrel? And the biggest sweet spot? I want to hit a lot of home runs this season, but I also want to have a low strikeout rate and a very good average. Zach
With the BBCOR certification it can be hard to separate in performance between the Easton Project 3 Alpha XL BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB19ALX, Alpha and the Easton, but it will predicate on how each individual bat fits the individual player.
