Since the Easton Ghost 2 Double Barrel ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: SP19GH features a composite barrel, we would recommend 150-200 swings off a tee, soft toss or front side toss at roughly 60-70% max effort. After a set of 10 swings or so, you will want to turn the barrel a 1/4 turn to help establish a break-in across the entirety of the barrel.

The Easton Ghost 2 Double Barrel ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: SP19GH is made with a composite barrel and this does not hold up as well in colder weather compared to something with an alloy barrel. With that being said, colder weather always plays a greater negative impact on a bat due to the ball becoming more dense. Occasional usage in 30 degree weather should not deter you from using this bat.
