Axe Handle Scientifically Proven Benefits
Better Bat Control - High-speed video reveals a "hammering" motion from the traditional round knob. The Axe handle stabilizes the grip, increasing barrel control.
More Power & Bat Speed - Range of motion is increased and tension is reduced in the hands, resulting in greater power transfer and more bat speed.
Enhanced Comfort - The Axe handle is ergonomically designed to fit naturally in the contour of your hand.
Reduces Injuries - Traditional handles put tremendous pressure on a single point of the hand, which contains the commonly broken Hamate bone. The flush backside of the Axe handle relieves this pressure.

Love it! Steve Coach
Pros: My 12 year old migrated to Axe about a year ago. He had an Axe Element, and it was his favorite bat he's ever used. Unfortunately, the cap cracked. Axe honored their warranty and sent an Axe Elite One as a replacement. Wow! What a bat! My son absolutely loves everything about it. The Elite One seems to have elite pop; very little vibration; nicely proportioned weight; a comfortable grip; and an intimidating "ping." It is a great looking bat too. Nearly our entire team uses Axe bats. When they see this Elite One perform, I think existing users will upgrade and others will join the Axe family.
Cons: None really. The cap cracked on our Element, but most of our players use Axe. Our team has not experienced a lot of issues. This seems to be an isolated problem with one bat.
Kid Made the Switch Jim Coach
Pros: My 12U son likes the feel of the handle, which he says makes his swing feel stronger. Not sure how to measure this, but easy to see he is confident with this bat in his hands. Good barrel size, and he seems to be making very good, consistent contact. the 30-day guarantee is a no-brainer.
Cons: My son is not a big kid for 12U. Facing fast pitchers, the bat has picked up a few dents - nothing that seems to affect the overall performance, but my guess is the same would occur with other alloy bats. Not sure if the 2 5/8 would hold up a bit better.
Best bat Gary Parent
Pros: My son loves the way it feels
Cons: None
One great bat! Karen Parent
Pros: My son plays 9U travel ball. This is a fantastic bat that helps him have the most effective swing to drive the ball. He is very pleased with this bat. His first time using this bat, he went 8 for 8 in a double header. PS.....Obviously, USSSA Axe bat is much more effective than the USA Axe bats.
Cons: Try not to let the batter slide it through the dirt or gravel to the dugout if they get a walk. The silver scratches up when the bat slides across the ground.

Is it recommend to choke up with the Axe bat or no? Nelson Velazquez
I bought two different 2018 AxeBat Origin 30/20 bats, and they both weighed in 1.6-1.9oz heavier than sticker, closer to a drop 8. Can you tell me if this is also true for the 2019 EliteOne or Origin bats? He loves the AxeBat feel but would do better with something closer to a true drop 10. Luke
Is the bat made of composite or aluminum? Jack Block
Is there a performance difference between the 5/8 version and the 3/4 version? Derek Acosta
About the Brand
Launched by Baden Sports in 2011, the Axe line of bats was hailed as a breakthrough in bat technology by players and coaches from youth leagues to the Pros. The makers of the Axe line of bats often pose the question, "What does your traditional knob do for you?" Most players don't have a good answer. Axe engineers have created a handle that is not only more comfortable and safer in terms of hand injuries, but also helps improve the hitter's swing by keeping them on an even plane. Although Axe is new to the market, they are backed by Baden Sports, Inc., an independent, family-owned company that has been making baseball products since 1979. Their passion to create a better game is unparalleled, making it no surprise that the Axe handle is set to be baseball's next big thing.
