First Review and LOVE IT!!! h2oDelirious player

Pros: First time I used this bat, I took it to the batting cage. OMG let me tell you, this bat is amazing. I hit 60 balls that day. Second time I used it was at practice. I have used endloaded bats before and this one is a true endload. I hit 15 balls at practice and 7 of them went over the fence. I am 6' 235 and I bought the 34" 28oz.

Cons: The vibration of hitting the ball.

Great bat so far. JP player

Pros: My team broke this bat out for the first time last night. The reviews were universally positive. I had one HR with it (a 26 oz), and it also felt great on a few line drives. When I bought this, the video said it was balanced. IT IS DEFINITELY END LOADED. The balance point is farther up than both a Demarini Steel and an Anderson Rocketech 2.0. Fine by me, but keep that in mind.

Cons: The color is a bit much.

Shattered Expectations Mike D player

Pros: I tried this bat at my first practice. In my first round of BP, I used a bat that was balanced and got really good contact. The ball traveled well, but when I brought this out for the second round of BP, the difference was significant. The ball flew off my bat. No comparison. If it takes longer to break in this bat, then I'm only in for better results, but I'm extremely satisfied with the current ones.

Cons: Graphics aren't my style, but if it gives great results, I'd swing a pink glitter bat the next time around.

Ready to Pop Orbie player

Pros: This bat has been a "hit" since it's first use. It has become a the go to back for half the team, each already having their own bats. It gives just the right amount of pop for solid base hits and keeps getting better. Some reviews disliked the graphics but I like how it stands out.

Cons: Do not have any at this time.

Wanted to love this bat Scjhawk82 player

Pros: Super Quick Delivery Love the feel of the bat when I swing

Cons: I was so excited to try this bat when I received it and so wanted to love it. But, I hit with this in practice and in a game and just didn't have any luck with it. The old bat I had been hitting with had more pop and distance. I continued to hit with it thinking maybe I just had to break it in/get used to it, but it didn't happen. Other women on our team also used it also...same result. I'm back to using my old bat and looking for a new bat; very disappointing.

I have been given an old Miken bat. It's a Halo 2004, model # MPH9. Where is the sweet spot on this bat? Twig
Unfortunately we aren't too familiar with bats that old, but as with any bat the sweet spot typically starts about .5-1" from the endcap and is normally anywhere from 10-14" in length for slow pitch bats.
Kyle J.

Does the 26 oz and the 28 oz have the same hitting quality? I have a ultimate weapon in 26 oz and 31 oz and it seems as if the 31 oz hits better and even has a better sound when hit. coallen5
If you could swing both weights in the 2018 Miken Vicious ASA / USSSA End-Loaded Slow Pitch Softball Bat: MPV18T with the exact same bat speed the 28 ounce would have higher performance.

The main reason that the 2018 Miken Vicious ASA / USSSA End-Loaded Slow Pitch Softball Bat: MPV18T has a lower listed price than the majority of the other Miken slow pitch bats is because it is made with alloy, a cheaper material to manufacture, instead of the more expensive option of composite.

This 2018 Miken Vicious ASA / USSSA End-Loaded Slow Pitch Softball Bat (MPV18T) is actually listed as a multi-walled bat. However, multi-wall and double-wall are considered synonymous terms.

The 2018 Miken Vicious ASA / USSSA End-Loaded Slow Pitch Softball Bat: MPV18T is a two-piece fully aluminum bat. You are correct the two piece refers to the connection point between the handle and barrel. This bat does not feature any composite material.

About the Brand

During the past few years, serious softball players have looked to Miken Sports for bats that provide the highest levels of performance and durability. Our relentless focus on both technology and the demands of players has made Miken the most demanded line of softball bats today.

Although composites are the latest trend in softball bats, the technology has been the core of Miken's success since the company's inception. Miken pioneered the modern high-performance composite softball bat in 1998 and has pushed the limits with every model since. No other bat company has driven innovation as hard, and the results are indisputable. Look around. If a player is serious about softball, they are most likely swinging a Miken bat.

The success of Miken Sports has been driven by two forces - innovation and a passion for delivering what players demand. The results are obvious. Players have decided that composites are the future for bats, and no one does composite like Miken.
