Pros: awesome bat. I started to see harder hits and longer drives after about 50 hits. it feels and sounds great.

Cons: The barrell had 2 small cracks in it after about 100 swings. Never got to use it in a game. I had a friend throw slow pitch to me and it was 75 degrees out. great bat but unfortunatey sending it back after using it one time.

Cons: Extremely low durability, barrel cracked in under 300 balls. Bat had a very long break in time and after it was broke in still felt like we were hitting with a dead log. Our strongest, most experienced hitter struggled to hit the warning track. Said that it "felt dead." Overall very disappointed due to the cost and hype.

Cons: I use and have had several very good hitters try it and compare it to their bats.. It came up very poorly for distance and pop. Other less costly bats showed up much better.

Pros: We've used this bat 3 games now and everyone loves it. Big sweet spot with a lot of pop.

Cons: I purchased the vulcan wrap thinking the bat would be delivered with the upgraded wrap installed. It did not so I had to take the bat to get re-wrapped.

Pros: Love this double barrel bat, the sound is one of a kind. Bat was hot out the wrapper. I hit at least 1-2 homeruns a game 400+ft. Bat feels comfortable in hand, I added lizard grip 1.1mm to mine for little better grip. A+ bat in my book.

I've heard the marketing is wrong on this bat and it is actually end loaded. Is there any truth to that or is this truly a balanced bat? Mike McFayden

Personally we have not heard any reports that this bat is actually end-loaded, and the product information provided by Easton to us claims that it is a balanced model, so we would still side with Easton in this case and still call it a balanced model. It certainly feels like a balanced model to us.

Unfortunately rolling the 2018 Easton Ghost Double Barrel ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: SP18GH as this can very well void the warranty on that bat from Easton. To get this bat broke in, one should take 50-150 swings. It can be off a tee or soft toss and does not need to be max effort. After each swing one will want to rotate the barrel a 1/4 turn to allow for a more even break in.

I am playing in a senior slow pitch softball league (ASA). A little confused about which bats are best fit. Is there a difference between a "senior" bat and a bat without this designation? Jim

If you're playing in a league that requires ASA approved bats, you would be limited to such approved bats. One of the best balanced options for 2018 has been the 2018 Easton Ghost Double Barrel ASA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: SP18GH. If you're allowed to swing a Senior Softball model (SSUSA), then you would want to go that route as they are much higher performing bats.
