Description
Easton Fire Flex 13.5" Loaded USSSA Slow Pitch Softball Bat: SP18FF2L
This bat was first released a few seasons ago and Easton just issued more of this Fire Flex to JustBats! Get excited because this bat started the Fire Flex revolution!
Bat Benefits
The Fire Flex Loaded builds on the Flex barrel technology used by Easton on some of their previous slow pitch bats. That Flex barrel technology will make sure these bats are popping right out of the wrapper. With a re-engineered barrel that provides 240-250 compression from the first swing (compared to 260 compression on previous Flex bats), this model is hot out of the wrapper and primed for power with a soft barrel. On that barrel, advanced EXACT carbon material is used to deliver exceptional durability that won't let you down. Between the barrel and the 100% composite handle, the patented and proven two-piece ConneXion+ technology will guarantee best-in-class feel with a serious reduction in vibration to the hands.
Lastly, this bat has the old USSSA stamp. However, don't worry, even though a new USSSA slow pitch stamp is taking over, this bat will be indefinitely grandfathered into all USSSA play in the future.
Warranty
Easton is a stand-up outfit and because of that, they extend a twelve (12) month warranty on every bat that they sell. Pros: I would give it 0 stars with how upset I am
Cons: I bought it yesterday, excited to use it, and the paint came clean off after 30 pitches.
Pros: super pop
Cons: nothing but he complain bout paint lol its a bat
Pros: I typically swing Miken, but when a teammate picked up the new DC41, I decided to take a shot on the Fire Flex (27 oz). After the break in, this is just as good as the two-piece Psycho from last year. Hot barrel; strong flex at the connection. Feels similar to something in between the old B1.0 or L1.0 (end load isn't crazy heavy). By the second game of the night, most of the guys started picking this one up. Easton's grip also seems like it will hold up well and not shred that quickly like others.
Cons: I don't ever really expect "hot out of the wrapper" performance from any bat, and I felt like the barrel and connection on this one was a bit stiff for maybe 150 swings (Indoors / real softballs). End load in a 27 feels more like the half ounce end load of other brands' 27 oz bats. In case that's not your thing.
Pros: Played musical bats out at the park the other night. Couldn't get the ball out of the infield with the other bats. However, came up to the dish with this boom stick and put one out to the warning track. I am a proud card-carrying member of the "Player, not the bat" school of thought. However, it's always good to keep a decent bat in the bag. For me, this bat is THAT bat.
Cons: None as of now.
Pros: I dont believe in "hot out of the wraper", but this bat truly is! I needed a new bat and one of my teammates told me about this one. having never hit with it, or even heard of it, i took a gamble and ordered one. I am pickey about the feel of the bat in my hands and I couldnt of been more pleased. I was missing balls and still hitting them 300'-350'. pop is unreal!
Cons: This bat deserves to look cooler than it does. The black and orange color conbination is okay i guess, but they could of done better.
Pros: It just feels right. Crazy pop when you hit the sweet spot. Its my parking lot bat.
Cons: None really.
