Pros: Could they improve the 2016 LXT Plus? Yep, this bat has the most pop and it is balanced so well. Let's not forget it's hott right out of the wrapper with a larger sweet spot. My dauthers game has improved with the Lxt Plus and the new Hyper made it even better.
Cons: Would like to see a better grip tape but that's an easy change.
Pros: -Balanced well so the swing speed unbelievable -The new 3 piece connection piece adds comfort for those inside pitches -HUGE SWEET SPOT!!! -The ball bonces off of this bat
Cons: The GRIP!!!!
Pros: i got this bat for my 9 year old halfway through all star season she loves it hiting line drives past the out field like nothing, everyone on the team using this bat hits bombs past the out field
Cons: nothing
Pros: Received this bat as a replacement bat for another LXT that was broken.
Cons: I do not like the color of the bat. Has less pop then the ones made in years past.
Pros: Got this bat for my daughter who plays 12U two weeks ago. This last weekend she was hitting bombs with it. She loves it.
Cons: None
Pros: A friend of mine bought this bat for his daughter a few months ago and I am buying one for my daughter now. I couldn't believe the difference it made in her power and my daughter used a few times and the same thing happened. Highly recommend this bat!!!!!
Cons: None
Pros: This bat is truly HOT out of the wrapper. After about the 5th pitch of bp the balls were leaving the bat with authority. Both of my daughters were driving pitch after pitch to the fence. We have eastons, and demarinis, and are great bats, but there is somthing different about this lxt. The feel, the sound, and the evidence of a well hit ball. This bat has added about 10-15 ft to both my daughters swings. And its only had about 200 balls off it. We have found our new favorite. I also like how the barrel is rough.
Cons: Price. But you get what you pay for. The grip could be way better, 1st thing we do is put a lizzard skin on. Were hoping it lasts as long as our easton mako, thats had probably 4,000 hacks and still pops. That would make us happy. If your going to spend the money then do yourself a favor and get this
Pros: Don't have any
Cons: not impressed by this bat was expecting a bat hot out of the wrapper and still waiting a year later. My daughter uses a Easton FS200 for BP and gets more distance and says the bat has a way better feel . Not something you expect to hear from your ten year old.
Pros: I bought this bat for my 10U team and it is the Truth. Only reason I did not give it a 5 on Durability is we have only used it for about a week.
Cons: none right now!!
Pros: ball pops off the bat. Love the size of the sweet spot, very well balanced bat.
Cons: none as of right now.

About the Brand
In 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich emigrated with his family from Baden-Baden, Germany to the United States. Eight years before, the 1834 Book of Sports had made its debut as the nation's first publication covering baseball. But when he arrived in Baltimore, J. Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime.
After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were born in the United States and would later join their father in his business. By 1864 "J.F. Hillerich, Job Turning" was in operation and filled orders for businesses by custom-turning everything from balusters to bedposts.
The firm thrived, and by 1875 the little woodworking shop employed about 20 people. In 1880 Bud Hillerich, who was an amateur baseball player, became an apprentice in his father's shop. Young Bud made his own baseball bats along with bats for several of his teammates.
The debate over the origins of the first bat continues to generate controversy among baseball enthusiasts, but the younger Hillerich was most certainly involved in getting his father's business involved with what would become the company's signature item. According to company legend, the first bat was turned by Bud for Pete "The Old Gladiator" Browning in 1884. Browning was a star on Louisville's professional American Association team - the Eclipse. On a spring afternoon Bud, then seventeen, witnessed Browning break his favorite bat. Bud offered to make a bat for his hero, and Browning accepted. After the young wood shop apprentice lathed a quality stick from white ash, according to the story, Browning got three hits with it in the next game.
Louisville Slugger gloves are worn by more pitchers in Major League Baseball than any other glove.
