Description
The Easton MAKO BEAST XL is the newest version of one of the most popular baseball bats in the industry and it now has the biggest and most powerful composite barrel that Easton has ever made. The difference between the MAKO BEAST and the MAKO BEAST XL is the fact that the XL offers an end loaded swing weight rather than your typical balanced design. An XL end load gears more weight towards the end of the barrel for a more powerful and higher performing baseball bat that allows the ball to fly further and further. By extending and combining the game's longest two-piece composite barrel with the game's fastest swing speed, this bat is an absolute BEAST that offers the lowest swing weight index out of the entire Easton lineup. A low swing weight index results in a model that delivers power through fast swing speeds. Easton's redesigned TCT Thermo Composite technology now provides an extended speed barrel design. So, the BEAST's barrel is longer than ever for more plate coverage and a huge sweet spot. This extended barrel is connected to a 29/32 inch composite handle by the patented two-piece ConneXion technology that maximizes energy transfer while eliminating sting for optimized feel and comfort. Adding to the specs is the fact that each MAKO BEAST XL comes wrapped with the formidable HYPERSKIN grip. Easton: Unleash The Beast!

Outstanding Baseball Bat baseballdad parent
Pros: My son got his rolled which is not illegal it just breaks in the bat for you, anyway he is 13 about 125-130 lbs and he is hitting it like he is 6' 5'' and 250 lbs he is hitting it farther than ever. He had the previous model and this one is just as good if not more this one has less vibration than the 2016 Mako Xl -5 and a little bit more pop i recommend this bat for anybody trying to increase distance and hit some bombs my son recently hit one about 380ft he is CRUSHING the ball!!!! The barrel is also bigger and has a huge sweetspot.
Cons: none
Best Bat Ever dingerkid player
Pros: This bat has some ridiculous pop im about 5 7 weigh 128lbs and ive hit many dingers with it way better than the cf8 in my opinion. The endload naturally makes the ball go farther i was usually hitting about 290 now my farthest is a 350ft bomb if you make good contact with this bat your gonna go yard and make the pitcher mad. I have the 32 in and it feels perfect in my hands if you are planning on hitting more dingers pick this bat up its way better than last years model im not a giant kid but im hitting like one its hot outta the wrapper it isnt even all the way broken in and im having so much success with this bat ive gone deep over 10 times since ive gotten this bat ive only played 5 tournaments and we usually play on 300 ft fields and im hitting them out effortlessly its insane how much pop this bat has best purchase ever
Cons: a little pricy
crazy good dingerboidannnnn player
Pros: its hard to not hit a dinger with this bat ive hit a ball almost 400ft no lie im 14 139lbs and 5 9 this bat make it look easy
Cons: you could hurt somebody with it its to good
pretty good baseball110 player
Pros: the bat has pretty good pop not as good as last year
Cons: bat cracked vibration awful not getting another im buyin last years model again thats a good bat
A Beast 13 YO Coach coach
Pros: The bat is appropriately named. It is built for a big player with a long power swing. Between most of the weight loaded in the barrel plus an expanded barrel size, this is a real club. It is very close in actual size to a BBCOR bat and has a similar feel.
Cons: Best for a larger, stronger player who can handle an oversized bat. Start-up swing weight is significant even in comparison with other end-weighted bats. And as with prior versions, this bat is heavier than the advertised weight by 1.5 ounces.
Easton Mako - Great for my 13U Son Jeff Griffin parent
Pros: Awesome Feel Great Pop Black bat gives instant feed back on hitting location
Cons: N/A
Mako Beast Andy Andrews player
Pros: I got this bat preordered last uear in preperation for my Varsity middle school team. I hit rarely with it before late Feb. So far this season on 325ft fields I have hit 2 homeruns in games and about 6 or 7 in practice. Best pop I have ever seen.
Cons: you cant use it in high school.
DRAGON SLAYER! Angler parent
Pros: –Hits the ball a mile... especially off of fire-throwing dragons!
Cons: Heavier than listed. My son's 32/27 is actually 29oz but if you can handle it or choke-up a bit until you get stronger you'll crush everything!
Couldnt ask for anything better jake player
Pros: amazing pop, durable, little to no vibration. great bat overall
Cons: bat grip already needs to be replaced
THIS BAT IS REALLY A BEAST Blank player
Pros: Pros: Giant sweet spot, Big pop, No vibration, And quick break in time
Cons: Cons: End loaded so a little bit heavier but easy to get used to.
2 HRs in first weekend tournament for my 12U son. Derek parent
Pros: My son's Easton Beast XL is a drop 5, 30" 25oz. He is transitioning from a drop 10. The way the weight is distributed, he doesn't even notice those extra 5 ounces. He has used other 30 inch drop 5 bats without these results. By the way, his 2 HRs were his first ever over a fence and both were to the opposite field.
Cons: none yet
Great pop....doesn't last Kirby S. coach
Pros: Hits harder than any bat on the field. Great for players that are advanced enough for the end load.
Cons: Between two kids on the team they've destroyed 3 of these already.
My son hit the longest bomb in his life el papo parent
Pros: good bat .
Cons: great bad
for kids who like endloaded bats nick player
Pros: great pop loved using it for the time being
Cons: endloaded
Great bat Tim Grant parent
Pros: Great pop right out of the wrapper! Thin grip and end load generate great bat speed. Good price now. Great warranty.
Cons: Heavy bat. Need to be pretty strong to swing it. Only get to use it for one more season.
Mako Beast XL Mr. Reyes parent
Pros: Outstanding bat! Great pop and feel.
Cons: NA
Big Pop at great price CoachJake coach
Pros: At this price point, this bat is a great deal. It is very similar to the Ghost and while it has a little less pop than the original 2017 Zen -5 (before retooled), it is a very close competitor. My 14U son plays AAA Travel ball and went from a Voodoo to this and the results are very noticeable. I still think the Zen is the top bat but for $100+ less cost, the BEAST is truly a beast.
Cons: No cons to mention
