Super hard Justin player

Pros: This bat is super hard. I don't know if it's the wood or the finish, but it seems harder than some of the other maple bats I've hit with in the past. A month in so far and there's been no issues with durability or performance. May have found my new go-to company. Nice work, Victus!

I recently purchased a 33" V243 for my 15 year old son who is 5'9" and 155 lbs for his wood bat travel league. After hitting BP for several weeks I am wondering if he should be using a 32" and maybe switch to a V110. He used a 32" BBCOR Marucci CAT7 last year as a 14U and loved the performance of that bat. Which Victus would you think is comparable? Thanks for your thinking. David
I would definitely suggest a 110 turn model over a 243 turn for younger players who are just starting to use wood bats. A 243 wood bat is a turn that is more designed for larger, stronger or older players who want a slightly end-loaded feel and design, while a 110 turn has a much more balanced design that will help bat speed and control. I think switching to a V110 would be a good idea for a player in the 14-15 year old age range.

Could you explain the difference between the Pro Reserve series and Grit Matte series? Mainly, what type of wood the Grit Matte uses, maple, ash, etc. Jacob Southern
The main difference between the Victus Pro Reserve V243 Maple Wood Baseball Bat: VRWMV243 and any Grit Matter series model is the warranty. The Victus Pro Reserve models will feature a 45 day manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase while the Grit Matte series does not. As well, the Pro Reserve series features the ProPACT finish for a harder surface. Both series are made from maple wood.
