Pros: Very balanced with good pop. Have hit a couple balls towards the handle off 85+ mph, and the bat held up.

Pros: I wanted to try a new model that was similar to my CU26, so I gave this one a try. The balance is excellent...lots of control. I like the unique knob that sit perfectly between my ring finger and pinky which I wrap around the bottom. Finish is solid and I like the metallic gold sticker and engraving color.

Cons: None

I didn't see the mark in the picture, but it's recommended on several other sites as a certified BBCOR bat. Is this bat BBCOR certified? Asked by Cas

This Marucci Anthony Rizzo Pro Maple Wood Baseball Bat (RIZZ44) is built of a one-piece, all-maple design. Typically, if a high school player is playing in a game that allows players to use wood bats, then any adult wood bat comprised of one wood type (maple, ash, hickory, birch, etc.) would be allowed for play (regardless of bearing the BBCOR certification mark). How does this bat compare to the AP5NB? Asked by aj

The Marucci Albert Pujols Maple Wood Baseball Bat (AP5NB) Adult is going to be a little bit more balanced than the Marucci Anthony Rizzo Pro Maple Wood Baseball Bat (RIZZ44). The Rizzo model has a Medium-Tapered Handle while the AP5 is going to have a little bit more taper in the handle and a little bit longer of a barrel. Carter Expert

Do you guys offer this bat in a youth model and, if so, is it offered in different makes of wood? I have been looking at the Andrew McCutchen youth bat and was wondering what the difference is between both besides just the wood. I am buying this for my 10 year old son. Asked by Bryan bush

Unfortunately we do not have the 2016 Marucci Anthony Rizzo Pro Maple Wood Baseball Bat (RIZZ44) is a youth model. The Marucci Andrew McCutchen Maple Wood Youth Baseball Bat (CUTCH22YB) is a great option through. Carter Expert

Marucci takes pride in turning top quality wooden baseball bats in the same tradition and precise technique of the earliest bat companies. Every Marucci bat is cut, calibrated, balanced, buffed and lacquered by hand. Marucci uses top grade Maple billets cut from selected, naturally grown trees in Pennsylvania forests. This selection process insures the highest possible grade of wood for each bat. Marucci bats are 100 percent handmade or turned in small batches from an original design, then finished and detailed by hand. Each model is made to exacting specifications maximizing balance and ease of handling. Marucci uses an Ultra Penetrating Stain that provides the best possible finish for your next Marucci Bat. Most impressive is the Bone Rubbing technique that they use. "Boning" bats began in the earliest days of baseball with players like Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. These Hall-of-Famers would spend hours in their dugouts rubbing their bats with old cow femur bones. Bone Rubbing closes the wood`s pores, compressing it and making it harder. Marucci uses the same technique on their bats, rubbing before the finish is applied to seal and harden the wood. Just another example of how Marucci takes the same pride in their bats as our baseball heroes once did. Experience the excellence of a Marucci Bat and try their newest custom wood bat designed for Anthony Rizzo. The RIZZ44 Pro Model is ideal for players who have experience hitting with wood bats. The medium-tapered handle distributes the weight of the powerful barrel evenly throughout the bat so hitters have complete control of their swing from the load all the way through the zone.
