Pros: Had one for 20 years. Black model. Indestructible. Best with tennis balls. Heavier than most bats overload principle builds strength. Have not hit total control balls with it but would probably work. A useful tool.

Cons: Baseballs rattle your hands pretty good when hitting with thunder stick.

Would this be good to use with my 13 y/o son? He currently uses a 33"/30 ounce bat. Asked by joseph

Yes, this would be best for anyone already using a BBCOR bat. Kyle J. Expert

Can this bat be used with softballs? Asked by catcar1622

The Easton Thunderstick Training Baseball Bat: T10 Adult is designed to be used with baseballs. I have included an informational video on this particular training baseball bat below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dv9XxsFXjQ4 John Expert

What exactly is soft toss? Asked by marty

You can find a pretty good example of soft toss in the following link: http://goo.gl/FnczMC. The first drill is what we consider Soft Toss (tossing from the side) while Front Toss would be the drill with the coach sitting behind the L-Screen. The Easton Thunderstick Training Baseball Bat (T10) Adult would be great for both drills. Mac Expert

Easton is know for its high-quality products that are made to give players an advantage on the diamond. Now with the Thunderstick, Easton offers a unique hand-eye training aid. The Thunderstick is a training bat that drastically helps improves hand-eye coordination. Hand-eye coordination is a vital part of a successful hitter, and without it, hitting is virtually impossible. The Thunderstick T10 is a training tool that forces the hitter to make contact with the ball using a smaller bat. This will help the hitter develop better vision when keying in on the ball, and consequently being able to hit the ball with the sweet spot of the bat. Made from a strong alloy, the T10 has a barrel size of 1 inch, making it the ideal way to teach hitters to make solid contact with the ball. The Thunderstick training tool works best when used with soft toss drills. It can be used with real baseballs, wiffle balls, tennis balls, or for an even more difficult challenge, try using a plastic golf ball! Once again, this is another exclusive innovation from Easton.
