A great 1st wood bat for my 10yr old son Tony F. coach

Pros: light and solid for a contact hitter. My son is a 100 lb 5'5" 10y.o. He's on the skinnier side and has fast hands and hips more so than power if that makes any sense. We struggle finding bats that fits his swing. I've bought him this Easton MAKO Maple Wood Youth Baseball Bat 30" and Easton's full composite Beast X 2 5/8 30". He loves this Mako Maple wood bat over the much more expensive Beast X. Easton has done a good job with the Mako Maple wood youth bat. Its light enough for my son to generate his bat speed and on contact the ball pops bat. I was concerned about him breaking the bat but after 200 hits (in batting cage and field) so far so good. However if he does break it at $50 I have no problem with buying another one. Most importantly my son's confidence in the bat and his swing is high. He can continue to drive the ball through left and right center. I'd recommend this bat to anyone looking for their player's 1st wood bat.
