Description
New for this season! Outperform the competition with this Rawlings baseball bat. Redesigned, the Quatro Pro -10 USA baseball bat features balance, flex, performance and speed that's ideal for the middle-of-the-order hitter. This 2 5/8 inch barrel bat is perfect for stronger youth players who prefer to swing a bigger bat, and because it has a larger surface area, contact with the ball creates a higher exit velocity. Rawlings: Finest In The Field.
Step up to the plate with confidence by using this Rawlings Quatro Pro -10 USA baseball bat (US9Q10). Helping hitters stay through the ball, the patented Focused Flex system creates a stiffer and more controlled flex. It also helps batters get over their fear of bat sting by directing the vibrations back into the barrel of the bat. The new Longitudinal Flex provides composite layering across the entire length of the barrel for an impressive trampoline effect, and a concave end cap helps ensure faster swing speeds. Purchase today and get free shipping along with a 30-day performance guarantee. If you don't like the way it performs, you can return it for a full refund. Best USA Bat Coach Dave Coach
Pros: Great pop! No vibration. And a good sound.
Cons: Little pricey but that's what you are going to pay for a new composite bat.
Pricey, but we are happy with this bat Adam Parent
Pros: This bat appears to have more pop than any USA bat we saw last season. LOTS of pop for USA. Cool look helps with my son's like of bat and confidence. The one we got is pretty true to the drop 10 (our 29 weight the same as our Demarini 28 USA from last season). I was expecting a big drop off and struggles in going back from USSSA / travel ball bat to this one. Yes, there is a difference but it's not huge. I wasn't sure with price if we were going to keep but 30 day guarantee made it a no brainer to try and we are sticking with it.
Cons: Steep price.
Replacement Bat for 2018 Quatro drop 10 G. Cox Other
Pros: Grandson loved the 2018 bat, but unfortunately it didn't make it through the season. The 2019 Quatro was provided as the replacement bat and Grandson loves it. He has gone through 200-250 balls at a local batting cage and has great confidence this is the real bat for him. First game is coming up first of April, so we will see how he and his new bat do.
Cons: None at this point.
Hot out the wrapper Baseballmom Parent
Pros: Excellent bat! Even swings.
Cons: Price is the only complaint.
Heavy, Heavy, Heavy Jason Coach
Pros: Plenty of pop and good sound
Cons: Super top heavy.....the drop -10 is actually a drop -7 in reality. We sent our back and went with a lighter model. Don't even think about this bat unless you are 11+ years old
Smooth Power D. Harris Coach
Pros: Extremely well weighted for most swing types. The exit velocity was, on average, 3-4 mph faster than the other top bats we tested it against, including the Easton Ghost X. Have yet to have a complaint about contact vibration from the players.
Cons: Can’t speak on durability as of yet. I have heard some concerns regarding this.
Cracks Ann Parent
Pros: Greet pop until it cracks. I have already returned this bat once, ONE tournament and has a major crack in it again. Do not purchase, NO durability. I feel ripped off.
Cons: Cracks with only a few barrel hits
The best bet I ever bought. Rj Player
Pros: It is a really good bat
Cons: I have non because it is a good bat
Cracks Easily Justin Coach
Pros: The bat has great pop, little vibration and is well balanced.
Cons: My son (who is not big) has cracked 2 in the first month of use. I expected more from Rawlings and a composite.
Don't Buy the Rawlings Quatro!! Darrin Barton Parent
Pros: Great pop until it cracks!
Cons: In 13 months my son's 2018 Quartro Pro and 2019 model both cracked. The new and improved 2019 cracked in less than 4 months. Rawlings won't do anything about it.
Very good bat JoJo Player
Pros: Great bat!The pop is good there is no vibration and it has not yet cracked.Hit 150-250 balls.
Cons: The bat is a little pricy but it makes sense
Quatro pro na Coach
Pros: best USA bat so far
Cons: na
Great USA bat Robert Parent
Pros: Bought toward the end of regular season and using during all star season and it worked out great. It was a hit machine for my son. Has very good pop and even on hard hit ground balls it was hard for fielders to catch up with hit. Hit several to the outfield and a few to the fence. I think it matches or exceeds the performance of the top line bats for 2019.
Cons: I weighed it at home and it weighed more like a drop 8.5 instead of drop 10. Break in period took a good while - several hundred hits but once it was broke in the ball started jumping off it
The best USA bat Achilles Player
Pros: I have huge pop with this bat. I hit dingers with this bat and it feels nice on contact. When I hit it on the end cap of the barrel it did not sting
Cons: None
Don't waste your money. Mike Parent
Pros: Bat has good pop and balance. Sleek design.
Cons: This was a replacement bat, from last years model. Which my son loved during the beginning of the season until the end cap broke off during BP. He never was able to use it in a game. Upon receiving this model bat he immediately wanted to try it out. We threw about 40 pitches of BP and the bat is completely destroyed. There were cracks all along the barrel that continued to crack and peel away like an eggshell. Never again. Must be defective considering all the other reviews but, I will stay away from Rawlings in the future.
Keeps Breaking E. Martin Parent
Pros: My son does very much like the feel and balanced swing of this bat.
Cons: We are on our second replacement of this bat. My son is 4 ft 10 inches, turned 11 in April and weights maybe 80lbs. We got him a 30/20 in Feb to start the year. By May it had cracked during his batting practice. The bat wasn't used in a cage or to hit anything other than baseballs during games and practices. Received the warranty replacement super quick (by the end of the week) so around May 28. We had a tournament this past weekend and on the last day, July 14, the bat cracked again. Only my son uses this bat and there is no way he should be strong enough to crack two bats in less than one season.
Very pleased Ben Parent
Pros: No sting. Nice Pop.
Cons: Was the price, but not now!!!

About the Brand
Rawlings is a major manufacturer of competitive team sports equipment and apparel for baseball, basketball, and football, as well as licensed MLB, NFL, and NCAA retail products. Rawlings is a major supplier to professional, collegiate, interscholastic, and amateur organizations worldwide, including the Official Baseball Supplier to Major League Baseball.
The first real innovation in glove making occurred in 1912 when Rawlings Sporting Goods Company introduced the "Sure Catch" glove, which was "endorsed by leading players all over the country." The Sure Catch was a one-piece glove with sewn-in finger channels and looked better suited for a duck's foot than a man's hand. Catchers' mitts used at the time were large and bulky with a single leather thong passing for a web.
In 1920, Bill Doak, a journeyman pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, approached Rawlings with an idea for improving the baseball glove from a mere protective device to a genuine aid in fielding. The "Bill Doak" model was so revolutionary that it stayed in Rawlings' line until 1953. Its key feature was a multi-thong web laced into the first finger and thumb, which created for the first time in baseball's young life, a natural pocket.
In 1925, Rawlings unveiled a three-fingered fielder's glove, and ten years later improved the Bill Doak model with a two-piece leather web. At the same time, the "T" web became a rage for first basemen's mitts. The pocket underwent a pronounced change in 1941 when the Trapper Mitt, also known as the Claw, appeared. The "Deep Well" pocket was so unique that Rawlings quickly patented it. The design was improved in 1950 by adding a leather piece across the top. Another significant creation occurred in 1948 with the three-fingered Playmaker. A five-fingered fielder's model, with all fingers laced together, provided greater pocket control.
The six-fingered Trap-Eze evolved in the 1960's. In more recent years, Rawlings produced the Fastback design, which gives a glove a snugger fit, greater extension, and overall control. The Holdster is a slot through which a finger can be extended for additional protection from impacts on the pocket. Then, there is the Edge-U-Cated Heel with its extended U-shaped lacing and the Pro H Web and much-copied Basket Web.
Some of Rawlings's more recent glove innovations also include the unique Spin-Stopper design which reduces ball spin when the ball hits the glove, and the Cantilever glove design feature that provides a cushioned area between the hand and the glove's palm area. In all, Rawlings has produced and patented more functionally innovative glove features and designs than that of any other glove manufacturer. The result is that the modern baseball glove is much larger, more comfortable, better padded, and made to last far longer than its ancestors. It is not uncommon to see today's Major League players wearing the same Rawlings glove they wore during their college playing days. In fact, Rawlings is the #1 glove in the major leagues. Rawlings maintains about 65 models of baseball and softball mitts and gloves in its line. The prototypes of virtually all of them have been field-tested by professionals before entering a sporting goods dealer's inventory.
