If you watch the College World Series on TV, or are lucky enough to make the trip to Omaha, be sure to pay special attention to the different bats each team uses. Listen to how they sound when the bat makes contact with the ball, and see if you can tell if any of the bats hit farther than the others. Try to pick out as many as you can from this list and imagine what it must feel like to swing what these ballplayers are swinging on college baseball’s biggest stage.
