Pros: The balance is incredible. I've never felt a more smooth feel, even when I get jammed. The lizard skin grip is awesome. I heard they fixed the twisting between the barrel and the handle. I haven't felt it yet after a couple of weeks.
Cons: Zero. Zilch. Nada.
Pros: Great bat. There is amazing pop. Just bats did an amazing job to choose to carry this bat.
Cons: A bit cheap
Pros: This bat has amazing pop straight out of the wrapper!! Seen all the top bats and if you are a serious player look no further...here it is!! Louisville Slugger has a masterpiece here. I wouldn't change a thing. Great sound, awesome feel, and again if you want POP this is the one! I honestly can't believe how sound this bat is. Best bat I have ever had in my hands.
Cons: There is none!!
Pros: large barrel. hot right out of the wrapper. no vibration even when you get jammed and hit it on the hands. insanely balanced. Overall just a very good bat
Cons: price tag
Pros: Great Bat one of the best. I'm hitting the ball farther then ever with the same swing. Love this bat. Glad my dad pick this bat for me.
Cons: I guess the price because my dad is still whinning about the price and said i better not strike out case the bat cost too much. Lol
Pros: Out of the wrapper has better pop than the 917, a bit end loaded which is nice, and solid grip as always. Little to no vibration.
Cons: Small sweet spot - must hit it right around the middle of the barrel. Hard to muscle out jam shots or hits off the end. the great pop makes up for it though, not even fully broken in and already warning track power going 75% in BP.
Pros: Got the bat very recently, it has a lot of pop and feels very balanced.
Cons: Nothing right now
Pros: Bat is good for about a month then the middle piece breaks and bat does not hit very well or with any pop. Flaw since they I bought the Prime 916. As far as I know they have not fixed the issue but just changed the paint job.
Cons: Bat does not hold up, LS will not stand by their warranty. For a bat that cost this much this is crazy!
Pros: pop, durabilty,and amazing fell
Cons: the price
Pros: Bat is amazing for the price and if you get the right contact its gone.
Cons: none
Pros: Good pop out of the wrapper. no vibration and sounds great.
Cons: nothing yet
Pros: Has a lot of pop. As a hitter I feel very comfortable with it. Smooth swing and pretty balanced. It was either this or the 618 solo and I opted for this. Dont second guess yourself, buy it.
Cons: Has a fairly small sweet spot. Thats about it.
Pros: EVERYTHING. Hot right out the wrapper. Light swing, balanced, great pop. Haven't used in game yet but i'm gonna use it in the showcase comin up. RECOMMEND 100%.
Cons: nothing, unless you prefer an end-loaded bat, in that case your out of luck.
Pros: So much better than all other bats.
Cons: None
Pros: good
Cons: good
Pros: great bat overall, nice look and great feel.
Cons: no cons for the bat
Pros: Balanced, out of the wrapper scary - turns warning track power to straight up yicketty yak sauce.. P-Rods for days...
Cons: Everyone in the dugout wants it for 'just one a bat.. my Dad is getting one for me'.
Pros: Feel
Cons: None
Pros: My Team likes everything ---feel, sound, balance, pop, and sweet spot. Expensive---but worth it. Hoping we win a state championship in So Cal and this bat can help us. My players love the lizard skin grip as well---I prefer just tape---but I'm just the coach---but yes--an ex D1 player.

Cons: price

Pros: The prime 918 is the best bat ive ever encounterd .Hands down. From its slick painted finish to the smoothest most balanced swing! Not to mention the pop it has! Very little vibration on mishit balls, swing speed increase is noticeable from the first time at bat.I highly recommend this bat ive swung many but theres no comparison to this bat..Congrats Louisville Slugger on producing the best bat ever made!
Cons: none
Pros: This bat has a great feel when you make contact, along with that, the sound is just sweet just like everything else with this bat. Really enjoying this bat!
Cons: none
Pros: This Bat Has An Amazing Sweet Spot. Awesome Pop When You Rip Baseballs.
Cons: none
Pros: Great pop and very well balanced the ball literally jumps off the bat!
Cons: NONE
Pros: best pop best bat speed overall great bat
Cons: price but worth it.
Pros: amazing pop. amazing feel. amazing weight.
Cons: NONE
Pros: Well balanced, great pop, very comfortable in hands at the plate. We've only owned the bat for a couple of weeks now but the ball flies off the bat in batting practice and in the cages.
Cons: It doesn't stop my kid from taking a first pitch fastball! If only this bat could fix that.
Pros: I got this bat for my freshman year of high school and was very excited, so instantly i popped it out of the wrapper and instantly started to get some BP in, I hit a solid 100 balls before i realized my bat was starting to scratch up and had a chipped off piece. The bat had loads of pop and felt amazing but i realized if it was chipping hitting balls what's it gonna chip like when im in game and toss it to run to first base or whatever, just my thoughts
Cons: ...
Pros: Extreme pop out of the wrapper, great feel ,hits bombs , and the lizard skin grip on the handle is awesome!!!!
Cons: None other than the price
Pros: My son had immediate success with this bat. Very nice pop and the ball does travel further than his other bats he has used. His bat speed is also quicker.
Cons: None
Pros: Absolutely the best bat I have used. I get my best "maximum bat speed at impact" during testing using this bat. I have hit a 500 ft. dinger with this bat and quite a few between 400 to 450 ft. I like the sound and the exit speeds are very good. Warranty program is excellent. Upgraded me every time.
Cons: I seem to go through bats in a few months with my bat speed at impact often being as high as 118mph. Plus I take a lot of swings daily. But, Louisville Slugger has been awesome with their warranty exchange program.
Pros: i got this bat for my son and the day he went to hit it the ball was flying off the bat and it was as if it were like a trampoline for the ball he says he loves it
Cons: the only bad thing is the price
Pros: Solid feel with great pop. We had the 718 and my son loved that bat. After picking up the 918 we could really feel how much the swing weight was lighter. He likes the 918 even more because of it.
Cons: I wish that LS would make the paint job on the bats more durable. The paint easily chips off the 718 & 918 that we owned. This occurs when they drop the bat on the ground after hitting and just from other normal use.
Pros: My son was in a highschool slump (2-20). Then the best thing happened, he broke his cf zen. I say that because I decided to buy him this bat and his first game he went 4-5. I am not the ine swinging the bat but something about it made the balls fly off it. his smile was priceless.
Cons: buyers remorse......until you see how hot this bat is.
Pros: crazy pop the sound is beautiful balanced reduced vibration
Cons: i guess the price, but you get what you pay for (so far)
Pros: This bat has great pop right out of the wrapper, well balanced, and no vibration when jammed up. Son loves this bat.
Cons: price
Pros: My boy just turned 14 and we needed a BBCOR bat. He is 5'9" and 140 lbs. we bought the 32" bat. He swings it great. He says it has no sting or vibration. He has swung a Rawligs Velo for years and has transitioned to this nicely. swing weight is awesome. very balanced and solid pop. I was woried he wouldn't swing is well coming from a 31" -5 Velo. but he actaully hits this better. Hit on Hittrax and his Velocity was better and distance was better.
Cons: composite. utah weather doesnt always allow us to swing it in the spring.
Pros: So i just used this bat last night and i swear i hit the ball so much harder than with any other bat this bat has so much pop its really light the durability is good so far and this is prob the best bat out there
Cons: nothing yet
Pros: Found the bat that is perfect for me. Love the balance and the pop.
Cons: none
Pros: no vibration
Cons: broke after 2 games, feels like you get no pop, sounds terrible and the tape looks cool but feels like your are holding a fish wet and slimy.
Pros: Once this bat is broken in it has crazy pop. Love the feel and balance on this bat.
Cons: price
Pros: It has great pop, great feel, everything I enjoyed about the last years model. I couldn't ask for a better bat swing wise it really was a great bat.
Cons: It, just like its last years model broke or cracked badly before the season even ended. I've never had a bat brake on me as much as these bats do. I break them in and everything and they just don't last for the price you pay. Considering I got this through warranty from the last year model I should expect it not to break like it did before.
Pros: This is by far the best bat I have ever used. It has a ton of pop and feels great and there is barely any vibration. It is pretty durable too. I have got jammed on a couple pitches and surprisingly the still hasn't broke.
Cons: The bat is expensive.
Pros: This bat has some extreme pop. easy to get under balls and be able to drive them with some power.
Cons: grip the bat comes with is extremley slippery. feels like if trying to hold a bar of soap in the shower.
Pros: This bat is a very good bat with lots of pop. It is comfortable to hold and I enjoy the custom lizard skin.
Cons: none
Pros: price
Cons: everything else
Pros: Great bat. Well balanced lots of pop.
Cons: Short life. Seen a lot sent back and sent one my self after only 4months. Just went dead with no obvious visual damage
Pros: Great pop, no vibration in the handle, balance is great!
Cons: None!
Pros: awesome bat with pop and the price was great!!
Cons: none
Pros: Very well balanced bat. I purchased my son the 34"/31" for this coming season. He used a 33"30" last year and honestly feel like the Prime 918 is so well balanced that it doesn't even feel like a 34" bat. Great pop first couple of times he used it and it's really not even broken in yet. I would recommend this bat with two resounding thumbs up!!
Cons: No cons at all.
Pros: Nice pop
Cons: None
Pros: Good bat
Cons: Need to use more to really evaluate.
Pros: Amazing pop out of the wrapper, looks great and feels great
Cons: None

Cons: Pricey
Pros: great bat with lots of pop! But died after one season of use. Moved over the the Meta and it's amazing

About the Brand
In 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich emigrated with his family from Baden-Baden, Germany to the United States. Eight years before, the 1834 Book of Sports had made its debut as the nation's first publication covering baseball. But when he arrived in Baltimore, J. Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime.
After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were born in the United States and would later join their father in his business. By 1864 "J.F. Hillerich, Job Turning" was in operation and filled orders for businesses by custom-turning everything from balusters to bedposts.
The firm thrived, and by 1875 the little woodworking shop employed about 20 people. In 1880 Bud Hillerich, who was an amateur baseball player, became an apprentice in his father's shop. Young Bud made his own baseball bats along with bats for several of his teammates.
The debate over the origins of the first bat continues to generate controversy among baseball enthusiasts, but the younger Hillerich was most certainly involved in getting his father's business involved with what would become the company's signature item. According to company legend, the first bat was turned by Bud for Pete "The Old Gladiator" Browning in 1884. Browning was a star on Louisville's professional American Association team - the Eclipse. On a spring afternoon Bud, then seventeen, witnessed Browning break his favorite bat. Bud offered to make a bat for his hero, and Browning accepted. After the young wood shop apprentice lathed a quality stick from white ash, according to the story, Browning got three hits with it in the next game.
Louisville Slugger gloves are worn by more pitchers in Major League Baseball than any other glove.
