My son has used the 2015 Combat Maxum for the past two season. It is a 30"/22 oz size. The bat still has a lot of pop, but it has been used a lot. He really likes the one-piece bats (he used the Portent 30"/20 oz size before that). He has really liked COMBAT, but is there something similar out there to the MAXUM? Also, my son is going to be 12. He is 5'3" and 120 lbs. Would you move up in length? Steve

It will have an extremely balanced swing weight to allow for it to feel lighter than most every other -8 bat, which will make the transition to a heavier bat much easier.
