Pros: Very balanced and surprising pop for a BBCOR bat. Ball comes off the bat well even when not hit in the sweet spot. My teammates were surprised it was BBCOR. Hits, sounds and feels like old BESR bats.
Cons: None so far.

Number 1 or 2 best Rip-It bat. UCF Bound 2014! player
Pros: I got to try this bat at a demo day in Orlando and this was my second favorite bat of the ones I tried (I liked the two piece Rip-It slightly better). One of the best features of this bat is it was the fastest single piece bat I tried. The extra bat speed helped with with more power and the balance helped with better bat control. If you are a power hitter with good bat speed and strength to start, you may find this bat to be just as good as the two piece Rip-It. Overall solid bat with great performance.
Cons: Only hit two rounds in the cage with this bat and had no problems. The demo bat did look pretty well used because the grip was no longer white.
Favourite bat so far viking killer player
Pros: Great pop, comfortable grup
Cons: Little end heavy and the grip is white....

RIP-IT Bats Andrew Bennett coach
Pros: This is a great bat for hitters of all ages. We've had tremendous success with our college hitters who swing RIP-IT and they consistently give us great feedback about every RIP-IT bat we use. As a college hitting coach, I feel great about the level of production we'll get out of our offense with RIP-IT.
Cons: It can be tough to convince a hitter to make the switch if he's comfortable with a different brand, but we've found that the guys who give RIP-IT a shot usually don't go back to swinging their previous bat.
Rip-It BBCOR Air Dalton Brown - Elgin High School (OH) player
Pros: Our coach recently purchased a few new BBCOR Air's for us and we have been using them this offseason. I have been swinging an Easton for many years and will definitely be swinging Rip-It in the future. This bat has great pop, can't imagine what it will be like once it's broken in!!!!
Cons: NONE!
RIP-IT Austin Bowden - Elgin High School (OH) player
Pros: After swinging the RIP-IT BBCOR Air that coach had purchased, I decided to buy one. Had the opportunity to swing other brands as well, but found this to have everything that I was looking for. Love the new half sizes, which has allowed me to bring a little more bat speed than I was producing with a 33/30. Looking forward to a full Spring season with the new BBCOR Air.
Cons: N/A
cap CP30 player
Pros: when i first got this bat, it was amazing! however the cap broke off within a month and that was my 5th or 6th Ripit. before it broke however everyone loved it. Great customer service however. and if you hit balls off the cap a lot, this is not the bat for you.
Cons: the cap broke every time i got a new Ripit.
No more DeMarini Austin Compton - Elgin HS (OHIO) player
Pros: I have had the new BBCOR Air for about two weeks now and refuse to swing anything else from this point forward!
Cons: none
BBCOR Air Andy Mosher - Elgin High School (Ohio) player
Pros: Just got my new RIP-IT Air bat last week. Have been in the cages a few times and really like this bat. Excited to use it this Spring.
Cons: None
Rip-It Air Logan Pierce Elgin HS Ohio player
Pros: I have recently had the opportunity to swing our new team Rip-It bats and really like them. The 32/29 BBCOR Air is a great bat. Have only had the opportunity to swing this and last years Prototype II model and am excited that we will have these bats this Spring for our entire team to use.
Cons: Zero Cons
Great Bat Better Company Scott A parent

great bat C. Ruszin player
Pros: great grip, great pop, light feel

Great all around bat! Brendon player
Pros: Amazing for a contact batter like myself. There's great pop so even when I do swing for a base hit, the ball goes pretty far. With that being said it also has great power within it. Its a great bat for any player who is in need of one.
Cons: When it doesn't hit the sweet spot, it tends to sting a lot more than my previous bats.
rip it Jerod player
Pros: the weight of the bat is perfectly dispersed and it has a great pop to it
Cons: the grip is wearing already but nothing a little replacement grip tape wont fix
Very nice Bellaire Baseball player
Pros: Very balanced, not top heavy. Grip feels great with a big sweet spot
Cons: Cant complain about anything

Good buy Nick player
Pros: Very light weight, easy to swing, solid grip
Cons: Havnt had a problem yet
Great bat... till the cap came off Aptos player
Pros: -great pop, balance, feel, love the grip
Cons: CAP IS GARBAGE. first one broke within 4 months, thought it was a freak accident so I sent it back. New one came in and the cap was already uneven and put on poorly. Only took 2 months for the cap to start to separate and the bat lost all pop, started to sound like a broken wooden bat and I couldn't hit the ball hard. First at bat with a new bat hit a double in the gap. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK

High school coach Travis coach
Pros: This bat is the real deal. I cannot say enough about it. For a BBCOR bat, the performance is above the rest. An eight grader that was 5'7'" 130 lbs hit one off a 325 ft fence. That did it for me.
Cons: none
RIP-IT BBCOR AIR Jack D player
Pros: This is an awesome bat. I really love how it feels on contact and how fast it gets around. I used my friend's Demarini CF6 and the RIP-IT Air is way better. I would definitely recommend the RIP-IT Air to anyone looking for a new bat.
Cons: none
Rip it Air Hogan D player
Pros: The ball feels good off this bat and has plenty of pop right when you get it. I have compared this to other bats such as a s1 and xl1 and i definitely recommend the rip it.
Cons: The grip gets dirty fast.
Rip it matt player
Pros: I like this bat because it fits my style of hitting. I'm a 6 2" 220 lb first baseman in tenth grade and this bat has just as much pop as any thing your going to find. I hit a ball last night off the fence at a 360 foot left field and I am a lefty....
Cons: i hated the skinny grip so i switched it and now its perfect. I would suggest taking about a hundred swings with it with real baseballs to brake the bat in.
Not durable at all J Hernandez player
Pros: Very good pop and far hits
Cons: Already has a view cracks and end cap is already starting to come off
Great Bat with Balance M Moyer parent
Pros: Great bat! This bat was more than worth the money just for the confidence booster for my son, he hit a line drive to the fence tonight and you can't wipe that grin off his face. Great pop, good sturdy bat with a large sweet spot and balance. I would definately spend the money again!! (Looks better than the Mako and those yellow Eastons too.)
Cons: Wish I had bought it sooner
RIP-IT AIR 2014 Isaac - Ind. Chiefs player
Pros: The Rip-It Air has great pop, balance and grip. Excellent bat at a great price.
Cons: None
Rip it is amazing Hingle Mcringleberry player
Pros: This bat has everything you could wish for it has great pop. You can hit lots of dingers like I do too just not as good as me I have reviewed many other bats on this site so if you see my name just know that i'm hittin dingers all day but mainly with this bat
Cons: It's cost a lot but its worth all the dingers that it can easily hit
BBCOR RIP-IT Air Mike Madura Indiana Chiefs player
Pros: Love the feel and the pop of the bat.
Cons: none
Mike Madura Indiana Chiefs player
Pros: has a lightweight feel and terrific pop off the bat
Cons: none
Great pop J Hernandez player
Pros: Ball absolutely flies this bat, has excellent pop and has little to no vibration
Cons: END CAP!!! The end cap became loose after close to a half a year after my purchase just sent it back, also a minor problem is how dirty the grip gets, and pretty top heavy
Great First Impression ruwallydog parent
Pros: My son who is 14 used this bat for the first time in an a tournament last weekend. The pop off of this bat is for real. Definitely an improvement over his Mako. Time will tell on durability, etc but definitely impressed so far.
Cons: Generally slightly more vibration than the Mako but not enough to be an issue. Slightly less of a sweet spot than the Easton.
8 for 12 Konner player
Pros: Great pop. Other bat is a Mako and the Rip-it easily outperforms. Nice grip with no vibration.
Cons: End cap seems a little cheap and not representative of the overall quality of this bat.
James James coach
Pros: Warranty, nice grip, color
Cons: SMALL SMALL SWEET SPOT. No POP whatsoever. I was really hoping this would be the best bat ever, but it is garbage. My son hated it. Highly overrated.
big pop very satisfied parent
Pros: I bought this bat for my kid, 14 y/o 5'6 130lbs., he's batting .377 leads the team in double and triples and has put 6 off the fence from 365' to 380'. Buy this bat!
Cons: White grip.....but who really cares.
Rip-It Lelan Lewis player
Pros: When I first got the bat in the mail I immediately went to the cage to hit some. I noticed it had great pop but it wasn't as good as the bat I had been using, the VooDoo Overlord. This is a very good bat. I'm still going to use that 30 day guarantee, because the overlord is $20 cheaper and it's a lot better. Pros: ~Not a great bat, but good ~OK bat for the price ~Good Pop
Cons: ~OK bat for the price ~Not the best pop for $200 ~I am returning it
POOR QUALITY JOHN parent
Pros: NICE
Cons: THIS IS THE SECOND RIP-IT I'VE PURCHASED, BOTH HAD THE END CAPS FLY OFF AFTER MINIMAL USE. FOR THE MONEY I'D HAVE TO RECOMMEND EASTON BATS. I USED THEM IN HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE, BULLETPROOF ! JUST MY HUMBLE OPINION.
Best BBCOR I have Swung Casey player
Pros: I have owned the BBcor easton omen and the 2014 rawlings velo and i have used every model of the 5150 and easton s1 this bat is the best i have swung out of all of them. i used this bat for the first time yesterday at the cages with real balls and i could not find anything i didn't like about it yet the paint on it isn't to flashy but it still looks good and the ball marks rubbed off easily. the most impressive thing about the bat was the grip it has plenty of cushion and i didnt need my batting gloves.
Cons: Still felt a little vibration but that is to be expected of a 1 piece i can tell the grip will get dirty but that doesn't bother me
Very Happy Trae Zegarra player
Pros: This might just be the most underrated brand out there. The bat had very good pop! Great feel and very balanced! Sweet tape job too.
Cons: None
Major Durability Issues Steve C coach
Pros: Feels very good. Swings easily. Weighted well. Made in the USA.
Cons: After about a month, it sounded like something was rattling around inside of the bat. Then the cap came off. It was cracked and broken. No reason for this to have happened. In 30 years of coaching baseball, I never saw that happen before. Very disappointed. This seems to be a recurring issue with this bat. Don't buy until the company figures out how to correct this issue.
bat dylan player
Pros: has a lot of pop when it comes to hitting the ball. i have hit more home runs with this bat than any other of my 6 bats
Cons: cap isn't all that good
