Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT Red Adult

Hey guys, Kyle with JustBats.com here and today we're here to check out the new Marucci Team. One of the coolest things about these bats is they come in five colors. Right here we've got the black and white but it also comes in a red, blue, green, and orange. So we're going to talk about what makes this bat special, some of the differences between this and the CAT5 and kind of the black and other bats in the Marucci line. It is a one-piece all alloy design, uses the AZS3000 alloy. I know that doesn't mean much to most of you but it's just a very durable responsive alloy, it's going to give you great pop, and hold up to a whole season's worth of hitting. One of the most balanced bats that Marucci has ever made - they like to get a lot of input from the pro players on the design of their bats - and on this one they kind of modeled it after the CU26 or the Chase Utley bat. They like that model because it's the most balanced wood bat in their line so they decided to try to use that same profile when designing this bat.Kind of moving on some of the differences between this and like the CAT5 of the past we will see a slightly more endload on this bat. Like I said it still balanced but more endloaded than the CAT5 was. Now it is less endloaded in the black so this one kind of fits in between the CAT5 of the past and the current black. So it probably more of a bat made for a contact hitter or somebody who just really likes that balanced feel. Black is going to be with the slightly more endload, it's going to be more of a power hitter, power hitter's who like to throw the barrel of the bat ball, this is not necessarily that type of bat. We'll also see a thinner handle. They got some feedback from some players that they wanted it to kind of have a more comfortable feel so the handle is slightly thinner than the CAT5 of the past and the knob has been changed.
