Description

The next generation of Power Brigade has arrived. Now in its second season, this groundbreaking line of bats is unlike anything else on the field today. The concept is simple: Help players hit for power. However, Easton realizes that different players achieve a powerful swing in different ways. That's why the Power Brigade is divided into two distinct series - the XL Series (XL1, XL2, and XL3) and the Speed Series (S1, S2, S3, and S4). The XL Series is designed for bigger, stronger hitters who derive their power from a bat with more mass. Smaller length to weight ratios, and an extra-long barrel with a massive sweet spot and a slight end load characterize the XL Series. The Speed Series, on the other hand, helps players increase their swing speed in order to generate more power. These bats feature lighter length to weight ratios, a lower M.O.I., and a balanced feel. Further trying to equip players with their perfect bat, Easton offers all of its Power Brigade bats in a two-piece IMX Composite/SIC Black Carbon design (XL1, S1), a two-piece IMX Composite/THT100 Scandium Alloy hybrid design (XL2, S2), and a one-piece THT Scandium Alloy design (XL3, S3, S4). Two of the highest performing materials ever used on a bat, Easton's patented IMX Composite optimizes the sweet spot for maximum performance, while their THT Scandium Alloy provides solid durability and allows for a larger alloy sweet spot than is seen anywhere else on the field. Throw in an array of additional world-class Easton technology, and you've got a line of bats that can't be topped. Easton: Personalize Your Power! The S1 is BBCOR Certified and approved for high school and collegiate play. It is backed by Easton's Exclusive 400 Day Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: Swung this bat when easton came to my school. Grip feels nice, knob is good, and it is a really good overall bat

Cons: I didn't see a lot of change between the old model and this one. Honestly I would go with the older one since it is cheaper.

Pros: Great bat! Huge amount of pop, much different than any other BBCOR bat I have ever used. Nice designs and swings very nicely. Also, very evenly weighted.

Cons: A little expensive and takes a few swings to break in, but it is well worth it.

Pros: Bought this bat for my son at Christmas. He swings it as well as he swung his drop 5 last season. Is very evenly balanced and his swing looks great. A lot of pop off the bat as he makes contact. Bat has a large sweat spot as well.

Cons: A little expensive.

Pros: Pop and balance

Cons: Biggest con is that this bat breaks. I bought my son's S1 in December and the center seal broke by the end of January after only hitting indoors under regulated temperature using real baseballs. Although under warranty Easton says they are 6 weeks in back order. I was at a game the other night and each team had a player with the S1 that broke. You must send it to Easton if it breaks you can't bring back to store. Breaking is very common for this bat.

Pros: This bat is super juiced out of the box. Usually with composite bats they take a while to break in like the CF5. This bat is super awesome for speed hitters. I also have the RIP-It air and these are very close . I would say that this bat isn't for power hitters unless if you need the extra speed.

Cons: Well I am a power hitter so I still love this bat , but if you are a power hitter too then I would recommend the XL 1 or rip it.

Pros: Purchased this bat for my 15 year old who has been using the S3. While the same length and weight as the S3, my son says it feels lighter and swings faster. Very nice bat, he loves it, the feel, the pop and the balance. I have been 100% against composite bats but after hitting about 150 balls and several hitting lessons, I am sold on the Easton S1

Pros: Good balance. Decent pop.

Cons: I have hit with the s1 and it was okay, but it's not the bat for power hitters. For contact hitters its pretty good but the XL1 is the best all around bat. XL1 beats the S1 in pop and it has a much bigger sweet spot.

Pros: Nice grip and look.

Cons: You are paying for the marketing. I bought this bat for my son (he was swinging the Z-1000) and measured all his batting statistics for 50 At Bats. The reality is that his batting average was 2 pts. higher but his power numbers were lower, Slugging 25 pts. and total XBH down. Not a bad bat but if you're paying over $200 you're wasting your money. Good lesson to teach my son. Invest in your swing and mechanics not high end equipment.

Pros: Very well balanced bat has a lot of pop, making it more controllable. Heard a lot of complaints that it wasn't durable. We haven't broke any Easton bats yet. Pros: This is a very good bat. It is very light with a decent barrel size and very good pop. The marketing on this bat is one of the highest because of the cool design. Great bat.

Cons: This bat's price is slightly high. The 2014 Demarini Vexxum is nearly the same exact thing, the only thing that's different is the marketing and look. This bat also does have a tendency to break. Mine hasnt broken, but this bat has a history of breaking.

My son used a 32 inch Easton Omen -5 last season. He is a line drive hitter. Which would you recommend for his 14U season a XL1 or an S1? Or do you recommend a different bat? As he has to move to a -3 bat for travel ball this next season. Nathan
That depends on his strength and swing speed. If he has above average strength and swing speed, the XL1 is recommended. If he has average or below average strength and swing speed, the S1 is recommended.
Tyler
Is the 2012 S1 going to be legal for high school play in the 2013 season? dan
Yes, the 2012 Easton S1 will be legal for play in the 2013 season.
Noah
Is this bat recommended over the Marucci Black 2? TGARBS
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR and the 2013 Marucci Black 2 are comparable. They both have very balanced swing weights, and are two-piece designs. The Easton S1 is a two-piece fully composite design. The Marucci Black 2 has an alloy barrel and composite handle.
Aubrey
Is the Eastern S1 BBCOR BB131S1, appropriate composite for JV high school baseball? Alex
Yes. The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat is BBCOR certified and legal for play in High School.
Tyler
Does the 2013 S1 have the same amount of pop as the 2012 S1? evan
Yes. The 2013 Easton S1 will have as much pop as the 2012 model and will also have an upgraded handle.
Damon
Is this bat more durable than the previous version? Savvy
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat should definitely be more durable. Easton upped the warranty on the 2013 models. All of these Power Brigade bats come with a Full 400 Day Warranty through the manufacturer.
Brandon
Does Easton use rings to dampen the barrel? Bubba
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult does not use rings to dampen the barrel.
Kara
I have two questions: 1. Do you have any Easton Omen -3 32 inch bats held back in stock for sale? 2. I understand that the 2013 Easton Power Brigade is supposed to replace the Easton Omen. I also understand that the S1 is equally weighted for a smooth swing for medium to slow speed and the XL1 is end weighted for a faster swing speed. My question is this, does the S1 or the XL1 feel more like an Easton Omen swinging them? Thank-you Nathan Notter Nathan
We do not have any Easton Omen -3 bats in stock. The Omen will be somewhere between the XL1 and S1 in terms of balance. The S1 feels a little more balanced than the Omen, and the XL1 will feel more endloaded.
Tyler
I'm looking into purchasing a bat and I am torn between this bat and the RIP-IT Prototype Air. Which one would you recommend more, and why? Kevin
This really depends on the type of hitter you are. The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 is a two-piece composite bat and will provide a lot of flex, good for a contact hitter. The RIP-IT Prototype Air will be stiffer, better for a power hitter. Both will be very balanced.
Kara
What temperature can the Easton S1 be used in? Nathan
I recommend not to use any composite bats in temperatures under 60F, or your bat could break.
Noah
What bat length would you recommend for a 5'11" 145 pound 15 year old? Connor
The recommended size for you would be a 32" bat, If you think you can handle some extra length you could try and move up to a 33".
Jeff
What is the difference between the Easton S1, S2, and S3's? Willie
The Easton S1 is a two piece, fully composite bat. The S2 is also a two piece, but comprised of an alloy barrel with a composite handle. The S3 is a one piece alloy construction. The S1 will have a break in period of about 200-300 hits, and the S2 and S3 will be ready to go out of the wrapper.
Derek
What benefit does the composite offer vs the alloys now(s1 vsS2)? I assume they don't get as hot as before once broken in, so beside feel any differences? hardhitter
The main difference between alloy and composite is that alloy does not require a break-in period and will be hot from day one. Composite bats will require 150-200 hits before they are fully broken-in.
Tyler
5'11", 185 lbs, 17 yrs old. What size do you recommend? aj
Based on your size, a 33" 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat is recommended.
Tyler
I'm 5'10", 155 lbs, 14 yrs old a freshman in high school .What size do you recommend? Last year I swung a 32/29. Baseballgod
Based on your size, a 32" 29 oz. bat is recommended.
Tyler
I'm 6`2 , 180 lbs , 14 years old a 8th grader getting ready for high school. What size do u recommend for me? Last year I was swinging a 33\30 baseballstar1234
Based on your current size, a 34" Easton S1 would be recommended.
Tyler
My son is 13 years old and will be in hs next year. He is 5'8 and weighs 141. I want to buy him a hs bat for Christmas. What style and size bat should I purchase? He has been swinging a 31 drop 5 with his travel team. Thank you Al
It's difficult for us to make a recommendation without knowing what bat he's been using. It's always recommend that a player stick with the same type of bat they have used in the past with the most success. In doing so, the player is much, much more likely to have continued success at the plate. This is the main thing to look at when purchasing a new bat.
Tyler
Is this bat more balanced than last years? dave
The 2013 and 2012 models of the S1 will have similar balance.
Tyler
This is the new 2013 bat. What bat did it replace from 2012? Paul
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat replaced the 2012 Easton S1. These bats are both balanced, two-piece, and full composite designs.
Doug F.
Will this come in a -5? kev
The S1 will not be produced in a -5 model.
Tyler
whats the difference between the 2013 model and the 2012 model? why is there a big price difference between the two? Shiv
The 2013 S1 features new composite in the handle to further reduce sting and vibration. The 2012 S1 is on closeout pricing because it's an older model.
Tyler
How do composite bats differ from the other bats and what is the break-in period? shah
The 2013 Easton S1 is a two-piece composite bats. Composite bats will get hotter out of the wrapper than an alloy bat. We recommend 150-200 swings off of a tee or soft toss, rotating the bat 1/4 turn with each swing to break it in. Composite handles will also cut down on vibration.
Damon
Which bat is better, and offers more pop, the 2013 Easton S1 or the 2013 Easton XL1? dova
Both the 2013 Easton S1 and the XL1 use IMX composite for the barrel and SIC black carbon composite on the handle. The main difference is that the S1 has a balanced swing weight and the XL1 has an extended barrel and end loaded swing weight.
Aubrey
Will hitting with this bat in a batting cage that use synthetic balls affect the bat when used in game play with leather balls? Will the pop be reduced by the excessive hitting? Noah
You should never use your game bat in a batting cage. Those yellow dimpled balls are much more dense than an actual baseball, and can crack your bat, or reduce the pop significantly.
Noah
What are the differences between the 2012 and the 2013 models of the S1. mazz
The 2013 Easton S1 has a SIC black carbon composite handle to help reduce vibration, while the 2012 Easton S1 does not.
Noah
Besides price, what is the difference between S1 BBCOR and S3 BBCOR. Asking for a 14 year old player. Recommendation? Duke
The S1 is two-piece, full composite. The S3 is one-piece full alloy. It's always recommend that a player stick with the same type of bat they have used in the past with the most success. In doing so, the player is much, much more likely to have continued success at the plate.
Tyler
i used my rip it prototype air in a batting cage with those yellow dimpled balls. I heard that they can reduce the pop of my bat. Should i be worried? Can rip it refund my bat because i used it within 30 days. shiv
Yellow dimpled pitching machine balls are more dense than a regular baseball and can decrease the lifespan of any bat by causing it to crack or dent much quicker. You would have to speak with Rip-It regarding warranty or return inquiries. Their phone number is 1-407-649-4104.
Tyler
What bat is better for me if you hit 1st or second but still hit for power, and also still has good swing speed? Nick
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult would be a great option for what your are looking for.
Zach
What's the major difference between the Easton S1, S2, S3 and S4? Chris
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat is a two-piece fully composite design. The 2013 Easton S2 is a two-piece hybrid design with an alloy barrel and composite handle, the 2013 Easton S3 is a one-piece alloy design, and the 2013 Easton S4 is a one-piece alloy design with a barrel diameter of 2 1/2" instead of the standard 2 5/8".
Doug F.
Undecided on the Easton S1 or S2. I currently have the 2012 S2, but it broke at the connector. Looking for a little more "pop" on contact. I am 13 years old, 5'5" and 108 lbs. I'm a contact hitter. Also, can you recommended a length? 31" or 32"? Dalton18
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult and S2 will be very similar to last season's models. The difference between the two will be the material that the barrel is made out of. The S1 is a two-piece bat made of all composite materials. This bat will require a period of break-in but will perform at a higher level for a longer period of time. The S2 is also a two-piece bat but will have a composite handle and alloy barrel. This bat will not require a break-in period. It will be hottest right out of the wrapper. This bat will slowly lose it's pop over time. If you are comparing the 2012 models to 2013 you will see the same pop. Both bats being two-piece in designs will help reduce the amount of vibrations that can reach the players hands. The 2013 Easton's will come with a full 400 day warranty.
Brandon
My son is 13 but is 6'2" and weighs 250. He hits 4th and is a big power hitter. He has the Easton Surge that we got for him last year and to be honest that bat had no pop at all. He hit with a friends S1 from last year and hit a homerun with it every time he used it. Is the 2012 still avalible and if not is the 2013 the same? allieP
Unfortunately, we are out of stock of the 2012 Easton S1. However, the 2013 Easton S1 is available. The only difference is an upgraded composite in the handle in the 2013 model.
Zach
What is the difference between the 2012 S1 and the 2013 S1? DT
The main difference between the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat and the 2012 Easton S1, is the composite material in the handle in the 2013 model is slightly more durable than the handle in the 2012 model.
Doug F.
Undecided between the 2013 S1 and DeMarini CF5 and Demarini Voodoo. Son is 14, 5'3", moving up from small diamond 2 1/4 barrel, to the big diamond and 2 5/8 barrel with -3. Used a 31/21 Voodoo 1/2&1/2 last year. Single and double hitter. Strong body core, with quick hands. I have read the 2012 S1 had major breaking issues early in the bat life, and want to avoid any situation like that. Which would you recommend of the 3 bats? TimJoeBrown
Easton upgraded the composite materials in the handle of the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult for better durability. The 2013 DeMarini CF5 also changed their composite materials for a more balanced feel. The Voodoo will be the most end loaded, better for a player with quick bat speed and power.
Kara
Will a -10 29 inch s1 bat be too big for a 4'8" 85 lb boy? boss
The 29" is the smallest BBCOR that we offer. Since the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult is so balanced, I think it will work.
Zach
Will Just Bats get any more of the 2012 S1's in stock? Dan
The 2012 models are discontinued and we will not be receiving any more in stock.
Tyler
What is better, the 2013 S1 or the 2012 Voodoo? I like both but i don't know which to get. I am a line drive/ power hitter. nick
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat is a two-piece fully composite design. The 2012 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR: DXVDC Adult bat is a two-piece hybrid design with a composite handle and alloy barrel. The Easton S1 features a balanced swing weight and the DeMarini Voodoo has a slight end loaded feel.
Aubrey
I bought this bat, and it seems to be split near the knob under the tape. Will this effect the bats pop, and if so what should i do? andy
It should not affect the pop of the bat, but it may cause the handle to vibrate more. If it is a problem you should contact Easton about a warranty replacement.
Noah
I'm 5'3 100lbs and I am now about to move up to high school ball. I'm thinking about ordering this bat, but since i'm using a drop 5 XL3 right now I don't know if I should get the XL1 or this bat. baseballboy
If you had really good bat speed with the -5 Easton XL1 I would stick with that, but if you're bat speed was lagging even just a little I would go ahead and get the Easton S1.
Noah
I'm a 5'10'', 185lb senior in high school who about to replace his 2012 Easton Surge. I want a nice balanced bat, but don't want to spend the $400 for the 2013 S1. So which bat would be better: 2012 Easton S1, or Rip-It Prototype air? (I'm looking at purchasing a 33" since speed is not a problem) BlakeBaseball2013
The Easton S1 BBCOR is a two-piece, fully composite bat. The Rip-It Prototype Air is a one-piece, fully alloy bat. Both are balanced bats, so I would recommend going with the material you are most comfortable with.
Justin R
Is this bat the same as the Easton S1 from last year? boots27
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat is very similar to the 2012 model. The only difference is the 2013 model has the SIC Black Carbon Composite handle.
Doug F.
Does the 2012 have a composite handle? I read from another question that the biggest difference is the composite handle. Does it make a big difference? Ayoo13
The 2012 Easton S1 BBCOR will have a composite handle and the only difference is the new 2013 SIC composite handle reduces a little more vibration in the handle than last years model.
Noah
Has Easton addressed the issue with the 2012 S1 breaking so often in the 2013 design? Matt
According to our numbers (and Easton's numbers), the 2012 S1 BBCOR bat had average to slightly above average durability. There were no reported issues in manufacturing with the 2012 nor the 2013 models. However, the handle in the 2013 model was upgraded with a slightly stronger composite material.
Tyler
Would you recommend the Easton S1 BBCOR or the Easton XL1 BBCOR for a 13 year old kid that is 5'7" and 150 lbs? Big hitter
We would recommend the Easton S1 BBCOR for a contact hitter because it is a balanced model. The Easton XL1 BBCOR is more end loaded and would be better for a power hitter. Both are great bats.
Damon
What bat would you recommend to a 18 year old high school kid who is 5'6" and 128 lbs. The Easton S1 or the Marucci Black 2? briskie
Based on his height and weight, I would recommend a 31" 28 oz. model. Both the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat and the 2013 Marucci Black 2 BBCOR: MCBB20 Adult bat are great two-piece, balanced models. The Easton S1 has a composite barrel and will require a break-in period, whereas the Black 2 features an alloy barrel and does not require a break-in period.
Aubrey
Just purchased an Easton S1, what is the recommended break in process, if any? Is it game ready out of the wrapper? Alex
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult will require a break-in period of 150-200 hits off of soft toss or a tee. Start at 50% power and work your way up from there. Make sure to rotate the bat 1/4" in between each hit to break-in the barrel evenly.
Frank
What would you recommend for a 250lb 6'1" 15 year old: S1 or XL1? lt
If you are more of a contact hitter, I would suggest the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR. If you are more of a power hitter, then I would suggest going with the 2013 Easton XL1 BBCOR.
Marcus
I know you are not supposed to use your game bats in the batting cage, but if I use real baseball's will it affect the bat's pop or damage it in anyway? Connor
If you use real leather baseballs you will be fine. It actually might warm the bat up faster for game play.
Chad M.
I'm a 5'1" 100 pound middle infielder, I'm not a power hitter, more of a contact hitter. Would you suggest the Easton S1 or the Easton XL1? lovesports
The 2013 Easton XL1 is end loaded and for more of a power hitter. The Easton S1 is lighter swinging and more for a contact hitter.
Chad M.
I'm 16 and 5'9". There is a 100 dollar difference between the S1 and S2. I used a 32" Vexxum last year and I hit .318 as a freshman on varsity. Which bat would keep me hitting the ball low and line drives? 2 baggers
It's always recommend that a player stick with the same type of bat they have used in the past with the most success. In doing so, the player is much, much more likely to have continued success at the plate. Thus, the Easton S2 would be recommended as it is more similar to the Vexxum.
Tyler
I just bought the 2013 Easton S1. I understand 150-200 cuts off the tee and/or soft toss will help break it in with 1/4" rotation of the barrel after each cut. Is outside temperature a consideration? Bubba
For composite bats like the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1, we do not recommend using them in temperatures below 55 degrees Fahrenheit. At that temperature, the ball becomes much more dense and could damage the bat.
Mac
Does the Easton S1 come in a -12? My son is 11 and small for his age, and definitely more of a contact hitter. Should he get the Easton S1 as opposed to the Easton XL1, however I cannot find it in a 30/18. Jim R
The 2013 Easton S1 Youth would be more for a contact hitter but will help generate some power. We do it in the 30" 18 oz. just make sure it's the youth model. The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult would be for a high school player and beyond.
Chad M.
My son is just under 4' 9" and 72 lbs. Tall skinny 9.5 year old and yet to show power. Most charts have him at a 29". I would like to get a few seasons out of this bat, so I am leaning towards a 30". As well as which bat would you choose, the Easton S1 or the Easton S2? I see one should not use your bat in the cage with the yellow balls, what should he use... cheap similar weight and length bat? Hoyt
We suggest with the height and weight given, a 30" bat. I would start with the Easton S2, I think that would do just fine but make sure you don't get the BBCOR one. It would be way to heavy. He needs either a Youth Big Barrel bat or a Youth model.
Chad M.
What is the difference between the 2012 and 2013 S1 and what is the difference between the 2012 and 2013 XL1? chase
The difference between the 2012 and 2013 XL1 and S1 are the 2013 used a new SIC Carbon Fiber Handle to help reduce more vibration. That is the only difference between years.
Noah
I want a 2012 version of the S1, do you know where i can get one new? chase
We do not have any more 2012 Easton S1 BBCOR bats in stock. I recommend contacting Easton at 1-888-259-1297.
Tyler
Which is the better bat for me? I do not like flex but I do like balanced bats. I am choosing between this (Easton S1 BBCOR), Marucci Black 2, and the RIP-IT Prototype 2? Boss
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult will have the most flex out of all three bats. If you do not like flex and want a balanced bat the 2013 Marucci Black 2 would be the best option. The RIP-IT Prototype II is stiffer, but it is end loaded.
Kara
Which bat would be better for contact hitters Easton S1 or S2? josh
Both the Easton S1 and the Easton S2 are both great bats for contact hitters. Being that the Easton S1 made up of composite materials it will be the better bat.
Chad M.
Do you know when the 2014 Power Brigade will be coming out? Around July-August maybe? Tanner B
The 2014 Power Brigade will be coming out later this year. Last year the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat was released in November.
Brandon
What DeMarini bat could this be compared to? ryan
The DeMarini bat that is most similar to the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult would be the 2013 DeMarini CF5 LE BBCOR: DXCFC-LE Adult.
Marcus
My son (high school Frosh) went through the Easton hit lab and got his bat choices marked for him. They suggest the Speed Series opposed to XL. But what does the number mean? He got an "85" by S1? and an 84 by XL3. Thanks. trialdawg
I would recommend contacting Easton directly at 1-800-632-7866. Unfortunately, we do not have any information regarding the scoring system for their hit lab.
Tyler
My daughter is 17. She is one of the smallest girls on the team, but she is the longest hitter on the team. She has tons of bat speed. She has an Easton Stealth that is 4 years old that has lost its pop. Any suggestions for a new bat? holmze
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult is a baseball bat. The 2013 Easton FS1: FP13S1 Fastpitch replaced the Stealth Series, and would be a great option for your daughter.
Katie
Will there be any difference in pop or durability between the Easton S1 BBCOR and the Marucci Elite BBCOR? jp
No, the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR and the Marucci Elite are both high performing bats with outstanding pop and durability.
Frank
What size would you recommend for a 5'9" 195 lbs 14 year old. I swung a 32 inch bat last season. Douglas
We actually suggest that you swing a 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR in the 33" 30 oz. bat.
Chad M.
What size bat would you recommend for my son. He is 5'6" and weighs 120 lbs.? BillC68
I'd recommend a 31" 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat for your son.
Kevin
I am 14 years old, 5'10", and 120 lbs. I'm looking for a bat that will increase my bat speed. Should I go with the S1? Jake
For a player your size, I would recommend going with the 33" 30 oz. 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult. The S1 should help increase your swing speed since it is a balanced two-piece model.
Marcus
Can you use it when hitting off a pitching machine? kjkaos
You can use the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult in a batting cage. We suggest that you only hit real leather baseball with your bat. Please stay away from the yellow dimpled balls that are very well known in batting cages.
Chad M.
I recently bought this bat. Will this bat require a break-in period? Brock
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult require a break-in period of 150-200 swings, working up from 40% to full power at the 150 swing mark. Make sure to use real leather baseballs and rotate the bat a quarter inch every swing.
Katie
When will the 2014 model of this bat be coming out? Keith
The 2014 Easton S1 BBCOR will not be released until fall of 2013. The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult is available in all sizes.
Kara
I am 14, 6 ft. tall, and 140 lbs. I usually hit the ball in the gap or down the line. What is better for me? The 2013 S1 or 2013 XL1? ice man
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat would be a great choice for a gap and line drive hitter at your size. It will be very balanced and easy to swing through the zone. The XL1 will feel barrel heavy and have an end loaded swing weight.
Brandon
What is the difference, if any, between the 2012 S1 and the 2013 S1? chris
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult uses upgraded composite material in the handle for better durability. The composite material in the barrel is the same.
Kara
I am 5'7" 175lbs. I am a strong line drive hitter. Should i use the S1 or the XL1? lombo
If you have above average strength and swing speed, the 2013 Easton XL1 BBCOR: BB13X1 would be recommended over the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 due to its end loaded design.
Tyler
I'm going into high school next year, I'm around 5'5" and 130 lbs. I'm not sure whether to go with a Speed or XL1. I can hit for power and for contact. erik
For a player of your size either the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat or the 2013 Easton XL1 BBCOR: BB13X1 Adult bat will work for you. It will only depend on which you are able to generate good bat speed with.
Robert
Does this bat need to be broken-in? sdjlflkgjadlgkda
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat will require a break-in period prior to game-use. For detailed instructions on the composite break-in process, check out our JustBats.com Blog: http://www.justbats.com/blog/index.php/3789/breaking-in-your-composite-baseball-bat
Mac
What is the typical life of the Easton S1 bat? I purchased a 2012 S1 model last year for my son. What is the best way to check the bat's usefulness? Thanks. Steve9156
Most composite bats like the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult will last approximately two years. The amount of use and proper care of a composite bat will determine the lifetime of any type of bat.
Kara
Which bat is better? The 2013 DeMarini CF5 or 2013 Easton S1? Alex Vill
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat and the 2013 CF5 BBCOR bat are both two-piece, fully composite models with balanced swing weights. They both contain high-quality materials, and one is not proven to outperform the other.
Mac
What has more pop? This or the Easton XL1? Please don't say "Whatever the best fit is". What bat technically has the materials that make the ball go further? chris
Deciding between the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat and the 2013 XL1 BBCOR bat really does come down to the best fit for the player. Both bats have a two-piece design that features the same IMX Composite Barrel and SIC Black Carbon Composite handle. The only difference would be the balanced swing weight of the S1 versus the end loaded feel of the XL1.
Mac
When will the 2014 S1 be coming out? bp
At this time we are unsure as to when Easton will release the new Speed Series for 2014. The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat will be one of the best BBCOR models on the market today.
Brandon
Can you use this in High School baseball? Applesauce
Yes, the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult is legal for High School play.
Chad M.
Which is a better bat, the Easton S1, 2014 Demarini Voodoo, or the 2014 Vexxum? Zach
All of the bats you mentioned are great bats. The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult would be the best balanced two-piece composite bat on the market. The 2014 DeMarini Voodoo would be the best end-loaded bat and the DeMarini Vexxum would be the best two-piece composite handle and alloy barrel bat available. Performance wise they will be very similar.
Chad M.
Is The Easton S1 or Easton S2 better for a contact hitter that hits line drives? Cisar
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat is the better option because of its composite barrel. Both bats will give you the same balanced swing weight and provide the same opportunity for line drives.
Brandon
I am a power hitter and I'm 5' 8" 140 lbs would this bat be good for me? california baseball
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR would bat for you for many seasons to come.
Chad M.
Does this bat and the XL1 require break in time, or is it hot straight out of the wrapper? Ocampo
Both the XL1 and S1 are full composite bats that require a break-in period of 150-200 hits off a tee or soft toss.

Is there a difference between the 2012 Easton S1 and the 2013 S1? Is the pop the same? DIODICE12
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat features Easton's newest SIC Black Carbon Composite material in the handle. The new composite gives the 2013 model and stiffer flex which should translate to more power for the player. Both bats are BBCOR certified and can only perform so well.

The 2014 Easton S1 has an upgraded SIC black carbon composite handle that will be more durable and cut down on more vibration.
Damon
I'm looking for a new bat and i was wondering if the Easton S1 or the 2014 DeMarini Voodoo would be better for me as more of a contact hitter? john
Two-piece bats like the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult are best suited for a contact hitter. The 2014 DeMarini Voodoo is also a two-piece bat, but it is end loaded and very stiff. It is recommended for a power hitter.
Kara
I was just using an Easton Omen 33 inch, -3 bat, and I was killing the ball. What new bat would you recommend that is like the Omen? Danny
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat would be the most current Easton model, similar to the Omen. Both bats are two-piece, fully-composite, and have balanced swing weights.
Mac

Ryan
How long do composite BBCOR bats usually last? I know you must break them in, but how long do they typically last before the go "dead"? Would it last through a full fall and spring high school season? I'd be using it in both games and practice. brian
With proper break-in and care the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult should last through your spring high school season or longer.
Kara
I'm going into high school and I hit for power and contact. Which would be better for me the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR or the 2013 Easton XL1 BBCOR? AJ
Typically, contact hitters with average swing speeds benefit the most from the balanced swing weight of the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult. Because you hit for both contact and power, you may use the end load of the XL1 efficiently. I would reflect on the bats you have used successfully in the past to help decide between these BBCOR models.
Mac
What is going to be the differences between this bat and the new Easton Mako? jimmy
The new Easton Mako will be a sort of hybrid between the Easton S1 and XL1 using new TCT Thermo Composite technology to increase barrel length while reducing M.O.I. and increasing swing speed.
Damon
Can I use this bat even if I am a power hitter? the beast
Yes, power hitters can also use the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult, but since it is so balanced you may get ahead of he ball on our swings.
Noah
My son is 12, 5 ft and 75 lbs. This fall he will need a -3 bat for one league. He is a contact hitter (struggled with bat speed). Bats he has done well with are CF5 (-10) and Marucci Black 2 (-5). What balanced BBCOR bats with a light weight feel can you suggest? He sees a lot of the H.S. boys using Easton. A's Mom
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult would be a great choice. It is designed like the DeMarini CF5. It is very balanced and will be a good option for a young player making the transition to a BBCOR bat.
Kara
My son is 6'0" about 150 lbs. He uses the 32" drop 5- Marucci Black bat now but needs to get a BBCOR for high school. Trying to decide which Easton bat, the SL1 or XL1 would be the best fit for him? JC
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult is designed for a contact hitter who needs to increase their bat speed. The Easton XL1 is end loaded and designed for a player with power. Justin R.
I get a lot of doubles and triples, but I did hit 4 home runs last year. Should I go with this bat? beast
It sounds like the Easton S1 would be a good fit for you.
Justin R.
Why is the S1 more expensive than the S4? Alan
The Easton S1 is Easton's top of the line bat that they have for BBCOR. It is a two-piece full composite while the Easton S4 is a one-piece all alloy. The composite material is more expensive to construct and that is why you see the price difference.
John
I am 6' 165 lbs. and in between a contact and power hitter. I have purchased the 2012 S1 and loved it. Should I stick with it or try out the MAKO? donny baseball
Based on your height and weight, we recommend a 33" adult model. If you had success with the Easton S1, it is definitely a great choice. The main difference will be that the MAKO also features an extended barrel design like the XL series.
Aubrey
I'm 5'10'' 160 lbs. Would you recommend the 32'' or 33'' for the Easton S1? DJ3K
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat would be recommended in a 32" at your size.
Brandon

Kara
My son is 5' 5" 125 pounds, what size bat do you recommend for him? ryno jr
I recommend getting him a 32" 29 oz. 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult.
Noah
I'm 5'10, 140 lbs. I'm comfortable swinging a 33" 30 oz. and tend to stick to well balanced bats. Would you recommend this bat? Talon
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR is one of the most balanced bats we offer. I would highly recommend this bat for a player of your size and hitting preferences.
Justin R.
I am a highschool student and I just got this bat in august. My team starts playing in November but the high school season does not start until late February- early March. Will this bat last through this fall, winter, and spring season? Nick Goff
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult should last through spring with proper break-in and care. This includes not using the bat in temperatures below 55 degrees and avoid using it in batting cages that use yellow dimpled balls.
Kara
What temperature is to cold to under this bat? chachi
We typically recommend not using a composite bat like the Easton S1 under 55 degrees.
Damon
Does the XL1 have more pop or just a bigger barrel than the S1? daniel
Both the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat and Easton XL1 bat use IMX composite in the barrel and would perform comparable. The main difference is the extended barrel design and end loaded swing weight of the XL series, compared to the balanced design of the S series.
Aubrey
My son is 13 and is 5'6' 155 lbs. He is in 8th grade and I don't want to get a bat that is too heavy. He is a power hitter but the heavier bats he seems to have a little trouble with getting more power on his swing. Should we go with the S series for speed or the XL1 for more power? BMR
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult is best for a hitter who needs help with their bat speed. It is also recommended for a younger player making the transition to a BBCOR bat. The Easton XL1 is end loaded and designed for a power hitter with quick bat speed.
Kara
Does this bat have a stiff feel or does it have a large amount of flex? ale
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult will have flex since it is a two-piece designed bat.
Tori
What is the difference between the 2012 S1 and the 2013? Jimmy
The 2012 S1 was made completely from the IMX Composite material while the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult features the upgraded SIC Black Carbon Composite in its handle. This material provides a stiffer flex and better energy transfer over the IMX Composite handle.
Mac
I'm 13 and 5'8" and can get my hands though on an inside pitch pretty easily but cant hit an outside pitch. So do you think that I should us the S1 or the XL1. I am currently using the Rawlings Mach. 875530
The 2013 Easton XL1 BBCOR: BB13X1 Adult has an extended barrel, great for hitting outside pitches. The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult does not have an extended barrel. However, it will be more balanced than the XL1.
Kara
Between this and the CF5, which one has more durability and the slight edge in balance? adam
2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult and the DeMarini CF5 BBCOR are two-piece fully composite bats. They are very comparable in terms of balance. Both of the bats feature their respective manufacturers top of the line composite materials, which are very durable.
Justin R.
Does the S1 or CF5 have a larger sweet spot? jimmy
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult bat will have a very similar sized sweet spot when compared to the DeMarini CF5 BBCOR.
Brandon
How long will my S1 will last? nickf1998
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult is a very high quality, durable model. The lifespan depends on how well you take care of the bat, how many games you play, etc. The 2013 Easton S1 comes with a 400 day manufacturer's warranty.
Justin R.
I am new to BBCOR and I am confused over all the options. It seems that alloy bats are rated higher than the composites. In little league composites are more popular than alloy. Why is this? Benji
Composite bats, like the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult, are popular in BBCOR. They just tend to be more expensive because of the materials, that is why they don't show up as often on our popular page. Composite is typically going to be more durable than alloy.
Tori
I'm 15 and 5'11''. What size bat would you recommend for me? Nicky
The correct size is going to be dependent on your height and weight. An approximate size we would recommend getting the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult in is 32''. For more information on sizing please visit our Bat Coach at http://www.justbats.com/bat-coach/
Tori
Does this bat have the trampoline effect where the ball jumps off the bat? Nicky
The trampoline effect on the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult will be the same as other BBCOR bats because they have to meet the same certifications. The S1 will be balanced and light weight.
Tori
On a scale from 1-10 (10 being extremely balanced and 1 being extremely top heavy), how balanced is this bat? tchainz
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult is very well balanced, about an 8 or a 9 in terms of balance on a scale of 10.
Katie
Is this more for power or contact hitters? What size should I get I am 6'6" 170 lbs, 15 years old. jdawg
2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult is a very balanced bat, which is favored by contact hitters. At your height and weight, I would recommend getting a 34" bat.
Justin R.
Does this bat have more pop than the DeMarini CF5? Will it have a lighter feel?
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR and the DeMarini CF5 BBCOR will be similar in that they are both two-piece composite balanced bats.
Damon
What size bat should I get if I am 5'6" 170 lbs, very broad and 15? Or would you recommend the XL1? ZUKO
Based on your height and weight, we recommend a 32" 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult. The S1 is a great bat for a contact hitter because of the balanced swing weight. The XL1 is a great option for a power hitter because of its end loaded swing weight.
Jason
What sound should this bat make? A crack sound or a ding sound? sammyb_18
The 2013 Easton S1 Baseball Bat is a two-piece fully composite bat. Alloy bats typically have more of a ding sound and composite bats, like this one, typically have more of a cracking sound or thud sound. If you are on the product page of our bats, you will notice under the photos and videos, there is an audio recording of what each bat sounds like. Please feel free to listen to the recordings for different bat sounds!
Austin
My son is going to playing Varsity as a freshman this year, primarily for his defense. He is 6 foot tall and about 135 pounds. He is lifting to gain muscle but his metabolism is so fast that he hasn't put on much. He currently is using a 32" bat, but I suspect that may not be enough for him. I'm sure he'll grow another inch before the season is over. Bat speed is going to be critical if he is going to be able to hit at varsity speed level pitching. Which bat and what length would you suggest I look at for him? A 33" S1 or maybe even 34"? Thanks! Bulldog Dad
Based on his height and weight we recommend a 33"2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult. We do not recommend a 34" 31 oz. if he will be facing faster pitching. The Easton S1 is a very balanced bat, great for assisting with bat speed.
Kara
Is there much structural difference between the BB13S1 and the BB14S1 bat? I'd love to be able to afford the new 2014 model. It looks awesome and would definitely get the attention of the opposing pitchers, but can't afford it. But I also don't want to buy last years model if this years model made significant changes. Thanks! Bulldog Dad
The 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult and the 2014 Easton S1 use the same composite materials in the handle and barrel for outstanding performance and durability.
Kara
Is this a durable bat that I can trust? Nick
Customer reviews will be your best insight into the durability offered by a particular bat. This 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult has some reviews that indicate breakage, but the bat still has a 4 Star average. It's impossible to estimate the life of any bat, but Easton does provide a 400 Day Warranty against defects.
Mac
Will hitting off a tee be a good way to break in this bat? Nick
Yes, we would recommend hitting off a tee or soft toss to break in your Easton S1 (BB133S1) bat.
John
What is the difference between this model and the 2014? Sean
The only differences between the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR (BB13S1) Adult and the 2014 model are cosmetic.
Tori
When breaking in this bat should you be swinging with full power? Nick
We suggest swinging at about 40% and gradually working your way up to full speed when breaking in the 2013 Easton S1 BBCOR (BB13S1) Adult.
Jason
How should I break in my new 2013 S1? Jack
We recommend about 150-200 swings from soft toss or tee work and rotating the bat every few swings when breaking in composite bats like the Easton S1 BBCOR (BB13S1) Adult
Aaron
Is the Easton Omen still available? If not, what model replaces it? I'm looking for an adult BBCOR? Slugger
The Easton S1 BBCOR (BB13S1) replaced the Easton Omen.
Kara
Is the 2013 S1 or the S3 better? kollin
The 2013 models of both the Easton S1 BBCOR (BB13S1) and the Easton S3 BBCOR (BB13S3) are high quality BBCOR bats. Comparing the two is difficult, as they are very different in material makeup. Deciding which is better for you would be a matter of preference. The S1 is a two piece fully composite design. The S3 is a one piece alloy design. Two piece designs will offer more flex than a one piece design. Alloy barrel bats will not require the break in period expected with composite barrel bats. Both bats have positive aspects to their design depending on what you are looking for.
Patrick
Is the 2013 Easton S1 or the 2013 Easton S3 better? kollin
The Easton S1 BBCOR: BB13S1 Adult is going to be a two piece full composite, and the Easton S3 BBCOR: BB13S3 Adult is going to be a one piece alloy design. If you are more of a power hitter, I would suggest going with the S3. If you are more of a contact, gap hitter, the S1 will fit that style of play very well.
Merritt
I am 5'11 and weigh 190 lbs. and beginning to play college ball. What size bat do you think I need? I know this is a speed series bat and I need a quicker bat. Could I still have some home runs or to the warning track type hits? Zackbaseball11
The Easton S1 BBCOR (BB13S1) is a very balanced bat and great for a player that wants a quicker bat. It uses top of the line composite materials for outstanding performance. It is very possible to get a homerun with the Easton S1.
Kara
I am 5' 10" 165 lbs. I am a sophomore on varsity. I struggle at the plate often. Should I get the S1, S2, or S3? What size? baseball29
Based on your height and weight, we suggest a 32" model in the Easton S1 BBCOR (BB13S1) Adult. The Easton S1 has the lightest swing weight of the 3 bats and it will provide you with the biggest advantage at the plate.
Jason
Are there any differences in design between the 2014 and 2013 S1s? fdhgkdfgjkdf
Yes, the 2014 Easton S1 BBCOR will feature Easton's updated graphic designs.
Justin R.
Will this bat go on sale at anytime? Also I am 5'11" and 190 lbs. What size would I need? baseballgod11
The Easton S1 BBCOR (BB13S1) has been marked down. At this time, we do not have a date when, or if, the item will be marked down again. Based on your height and weight we recommend a 33".
Kara
What size would you recommend? I'm a 5'3" 115 lb. freshman. None
Based on the information you provided I would recommend a 33" 30 oz. in the Easton S1 (BB13S1).
Zach
I have a 2014 Easton S1 drop 3. I was wondering, what is the break-in period for this bat? wezlo
We recommend 150-200 swings off of a tee or playing soft toss to break-in a composite bat like the Easton S1 BBCOR (BB13S1).
Damon
What is the difference between a contact and a power hitter? Alana
Power hitters will hit more home runs and extra base hits. Contact hitters will hit more singles and some doubles. The Easton S1 BBCOR (BB13S1) would be preferred more for a contact hitter. However, some power hitters may like the feel as well.
Aaron
Does this bat still come in a 32" 29 oz? JJ
Unfortunately, we have sold out of the 32" 29 oz Easton S1 BBCOR: (BB13S1), and we will not be getting any more select sizes back in our inventory. However, we do have the 2014 Easton S1 BBCOR: (BB14S1) in a 32" 29 oz.
Merritt
What is the difference between the 2014 S1 model and the BBCOR S1 model? coach 4
The Easton S1 BBCOR (BB13S1) and the 2014 S1 are the same bat. The only difference is the color/paint scheme.
Jason
My son has some trouble at the plate he is in little league baseball in the major division. He is 4' 10" and 92 pounds. What bat, and size would you recommend? He really wants to drop some bombs, and this is his second year playing. newmoy2014
Based on his approximate height and weight, I would suggest 29 inches. The Easton S1 BBCOR: (BB13S1) has been a very popular model. The two-piece composite design is perfect for contact hitters. It will also be extremely light weight, and it will be easy for players to generate a faster bat swing. I think the Easton S1 BBCOR (BB13S1) would be an excellent choice to take a look at.
Merritt
Does the bat come in 31 in. 28 oz.? h
Yes, the Easton S1 (BB13S1) does come in a 31" 28 oz., we are out of stock in that size but do have it in this years Easton S1 (BB14S1).
Zach
Is this bat legal for Little League Juniors? danny
Yes the Easton S1 BBCOR (BB13S1) is approved for Little League Juniors. The Junior division requires any composite barrel bat to be BBCOR certified which this bat meets that certification.
John
My son is 12 years old. He is 5 foot 7 and weighs 122 pounds. What size bat should he be swinging? Electric
Based on his height and weight, we would suggest a 31 inch BBCOR bat like the Easton S1 BBCOR (BB13S1).
Patrick
which bat has more pop, the 2013 s1 or 2014 s1 stephen
Both the 2014 Easton S1 (BB14S1) and the 2013 S1 (BB13S1) will have the same amount of pop. One does not have more pop than the other.
Sean
Is the Easton S1 for a power hitter? Dee
The balanced swing weight of the Easton S1 BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB13S1) is typically preferred by contact hitters, but a power hitter could absolutely use this bat well if they prefer that swing weight.
Mac
I am 15 years old, I am 6' and weigh 135 lbs. What size is best for me? Kersh
Based on results from our Bat Coach (http://www.justbats.com/bat-coach/), we recommend a 33" Easton S1 (BB13S1) for a player with your height and weight.
Sean
My son is 9 years old. He is 4 foot 6 inches tall and weighs almost 70 pounds. What is the right size bat? Swedehitter
Based on his height and weight, we would suggest a 29 inch bat for your player. However, BBCOR certified bats like the Easton S1 BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB13S1) would be too heavy of a length to weight ratio for a 9 year old player. You will want to look at senior league style bats like the 2014 Easton S1 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL14S110) which will be lighter.
Patrick
Will you carry anymore 32 29's? Or is that discontinued? Scorpion Baseball
We wouldn't expect to receive any more sizes of the Easton S1 BBCOR Baseball Bat: BB13S1, as the 2015 models are soon to be released: http://goo.gl/seIJYo.

I am 6'2" and 190 pounds. I have a long, powerful swing. What Easton bat would you suggest? baseball1635
If you're concerned about getting too long with your swing and not being able to catch up with high velocity, I would recommend going with the Easton S1 BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB13S1) as it apart of Easton's very balanced speed series. However, if you're performing well with a long and powerful swing, go ahead and check out the 2014 Easton XL1 BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15X1) or the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK). These two bats will feature bigger barrels, but won't add an extreme amount of weight to create an extreme end load.

Is this bat designed like the 2014 and 2015 versions? Does it still have a balanced swing weight? I am 5'6" 130 pounds. What size would you recommend or what other model bats would you recommend? Nick
The Easton S1 BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB13S1) is very similar to the later models (BB14S1) and (BB15S1). Outside of cosmetics, there isn't too much of difference between the models. They are all two-piece composite balanced bats. Based on your height and weight, we would recommend a a 31" bat.
