Pros: Preface, this is my first composite bat that I have owned. The balanced feel has always been my preference, and this fits that mold. The bat eats up line drives and the gaps all game long. Easy to swing, very forgiving on miss hits.
Cons: The break in period. I did the research knowing these composite bats need to be broken in. However, it took a good 300 hits in BP, before this thing opened up for me(the sand sound in the barrel). I have hit a few shots out, but this bat's pop seems a bit limited overall. I took the Mayhem, my old Demarini F2 and old Worth Gold EST to a field and hit the same set of balls off a tee. The distance was about 10 to 15 feet further than my trusty Gold EST and nominal 2 to 5 feet better than the Demarini F2. While not a scientific test, I did see some better results than my older bats that I have relied on for years. It just isn't a homerun machine though.
