Pros: I know that people always say that bat's are *HOT* out of the wrapper but this bat is. 3rd hit went 330 easy.
Cons: The SuperMax end loading was a bit different.I swing a 28oz bat but went with a 27 due to the SuperMax and it was a great choice. No Con's for this bat
whovill
Pros: Great bat swings a little different then any other bat is swung. after 50 or so hits this bat is as hot a bat i've ever had. reminds me of the yellow and red worth mutant with better durability. After 1 session of bp i was hitting bombs over 350 ft
Cons: took a few extra swings to get used to the end load
Dex
Pros: Overall a great bat, broke in quickly, hopefully durability will not be an issue. Went with the 26 (scale weight was 27.4. Also you will probably be the first at your park hitting this.
Cons: Became a team bat after my first at bat. I suggest hitting a slow roller and saying how much the bat sucks ;) Still too new to know if durability will be an issue
BigWilly
Pros: This bat is super hot for asa play. The ball jumps off the bat and feels broken in right out of the wrapper. I highly recommend this bat to anyone looking for a new bat. With the way miken set up the end load with this bat your swing effort to ball distance ratio drastically decreased. Half swings with this bat produces 250 foot hits. That being said if you put a good swing on it just admire it!
Cons: The end loading on this is unlike anything I have ever swung. I normally use a 30oz bat and I am swinging the 26oz version of this bad boy. Bat control is a must because it feels like all the weight is in the last 2 inches of the barrel. Other then that enjoy many many big flys with this one!
jayson62
Pros: I have put about 20 swings on this bat so far and 12 of them went over 300 ft. This bat is amazing out of the wrapper. I dropped to a 27oz with this being an end loaded bat and have really seen the benefits.
Cons: I only have 20 swings so far so I can't rate any farther than that at this point
Squid
Pros: I played two games with this bat and me personally thinks this is the best miken if not best bat out to date. Got the 27 Supermax and has a great feel the grip is like no other miken, nice thick and sticky. I have about 20 swings with it and team used it also. Some of these line drives were coming off crazy fast, i also have a vicious and let's say that I'm selling that bat. Also I like the matted black look holds up against damage better than glossy paint. This freak is a must have for softball players!!!
Cons: When I ordered the bat the graphics on it looked like they weren't heated on all the way, hoping for no problems
EJ
Pros: 325+ out of the wrapper...200 cuts on it so far and just keeps getting hotter...finally a bat i can see staying in the bag for a while!!!
Cons: to new to comment
Mingsy2002
Pros: This bat is a must have for ASA play. I bought the bat 3 days before the first game, I was able to put about 40-50 swings on it before the first game. I was hitting line drives that people were literally diving out of the way of. My teammates decided to use the bat after they seen how hard the ball was coming off. We ended up with 5 homeruns in the FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON. I would recommend this bat to anybody.
Cons: You better run hard because what you think are routine balls turn out to be harder and furthher than they feel.
Kman
Pros: Only have about 30 cuts so far but the line drives are screaming off this bat. Im not a very big guy but a few of the shots were 300-315.
Cons: None so far.
Ktoot
Pros: Bottom line is this bat is simply incredible. I'm a line drive hitter that pops an occasional homer and this thing sends my liners off the walls when they would usually land in the field. Base hits get stretched into doubles and doubles can be stretched to in the ballpark homers. I've used Worth bats almost exclusively until now. Miken blew me out of the water with this bat.
Cons: May be simple cons but I really have to work to rip this at all. -White grip gets filthy immediately and looks bad after just one game. Some people like this and some dont but personally I had the grip cut off and taped over immediately but thats my own preference. -This bat looks so sexy out of the wrapper opponents assume its not ASA as soon as they see it. -Teammates all want to hit it.
sweener22
Pros: Bat feels good right out of the wrapper. Good pop and good sense of durability.
Cons: Weight system is extreme - balanced bat feels like weight is on your hands and end loaded is extremely end loaded. Advise 1 oz drop from usual weight.
chinochong
Pros: this is really one of the best bats out there for ASA, this bat just get better and better after each swing, line drives realy take off and home runs that u can tell right away , over all this is a must have in your bag.
Cons: none
yaboypalf
Pros: HOT OUT OF THE WRAPPER first hack my boy crushed one 320 easy next ab i crush one oppo!!! solid bat a little heavier than advertised but def one of the hottest bats for the year right up there with the super freak 98 this is the third miken i bought and they all yoke
Cons:
Number7
Pros: This bat definitely needs some break-in time but it is still a very good bat out of the wrapper. Mine is almost broken in and is starting to get really hot. Hits are coming off solid and with good distance. I went with the 27 oz due to the end loading and it is perfect! Love this bat! More and more guys are starting to use it and are hitting bombs and line drives all over the field.
Cons: Its a popular bat among teammates so hopefully it holds up but I don't expect durability to be an issue. No negatives...just needs some break in time.
BigD
Pros: My first Miken bat so I cant really compare to others. Out of the wrapperit wasn't bad, but after 50 swings, the bat has great pop. I am more of a line drive hitter and the balls fly off the bat. WOW! Great feel and Great Sweet spot! I think I am going to love this Bat.
Cons: None so far!
Fern Dog
Pros: Grip is nice. Ball sounds good off the bat. It's a Miken, so you know it will be hot once it breaks in. The problem is the waiting for that day to come.
Cons: It's not as "HOT" out of the wrapper as described in the product info or other reviews. The SuperMax End Load might add a few feet to your distance, but it makes the bat feel a lot heavier than its actual weight. I'm two weeks in to owning it and have played 4-5 games averaging 4 ab's per game. I'm ripping line drives, but I haven't seen any evidence YET, that this is a good power bat.
WC
Pros: Great weight compared to other supermax or end loaded bats. Got the 28oz and it feels perfect. Balls fly off of this bat and line drives are to hot to get. Only got in about a 30 min BP but this thing is already hot! For sure will be an amazing game bat.
Cons: Stupid little things like the white grip gets dirty instantly but who cares really. Graphics could be applied a little better also. Otherwise everyone should have this bat!
NEOsftballvet
Pros: Has nice grip soft comfortable feel. sounds great. Maxload is different but I like the feel better than a balanced bat. it seems like it will be a solid bat, but not there yet.
Cons: 4 games and 3 batting practices in and it is not nearly as advertised as "hot out of the wrapper" its better than a good number of bats however my team has a good 200 plus cuts on this bat and it is just starting to pop. We also bought a Salvo this year and it broke in ALOT faster than this one. Hopefully it will get better
TXLeager
Pros: Looks great when brand new. Has DST (dura shell technology) which is supposed to enhance the durability. Large sweet spot...my teams have used the bat in 3 games and 2 practices...none of the hits have been extremely weak or hand-numbing. Even a few mis-hits off the end cap and the handle turned out to be unusually high pop ups.
Cons: The white grip gets dirty and ugly. Not even close to being HOT out of the wrapper! My expectations were much higher based on other people's claims. My 3 teams have put nearly 130 hits on the bat so far, but we finally got the first home run last night...barely over 300'. Two of us usually hit doubles, tripples, and at least 1 homer per game (3 games a week) using a 2007 Easton Stealth or a 2011 Freak DST Maxload, so this bat has severely decreased our slugging %. I'm consistently hitting singles with the FX700. The SuperMax end load caused many of my teammates to pop up because the heavy end cap drops below the ball. If you're not comfortable with end loaded bats, then I suggest choking up to help balance out the weight and get better bat control...but that defeats the whole purpose of the SuperMax end load. It's obvious that the bat is slowly breaking in. I can't wait for it to finally reach full potential so I can get back to hitting home runs.
BigHoez
Pros: Sweet Spot, Hot out of the wrapper, Amazing pop off the bat.
Cons: none
BigJ
Pros: Great endload. Bat is a beast. Great pop. Have used in 6 games and is getting hotter by the swing.
Cons: Grip is horrible. Cut off after first use and replaced. Not as hot as everyone says out of the rapper. But is breaking in nicely.
el_pana_venezuela
Pros: es muy buen bate no hay que ponerle mucha fuerza para poderla sacar de HOME RUN. se lo recomiendo a las personas q juegan slow pichts
Cons:
Beef
Pros: This is a great bat once it is broken in. Right now its somewhere between 500-1000 hits and it's just now starting to open open. A bit stiff at first and it takes a while to get used to the endload which is pretty severe. Swinging the 28 oz and it feels like a 30oz so you might want to go Down an oz than the usual. Great sound great feel. Great bat for screaming line drives and long bombs.
Cons: Grip gets dirty instantly especially if you wear batting gloves but who cares really. Long break in period
Flex
Pros: This Bat is a freak of Nature... That is all I can say a great addition to the Miken collection I have.
Cons: 0-None, Nada
bsplayer
Pros: got this bat early when it first came out don't believe how hot out of the wrapper it supposedly is its not bad but not hot. starting to get mine broke in adn it is heating up thinking of buying another one just because it is a great bat and if you read evry review most bats are a must for your bag bought the Miken white DST last year and hate that bat has no where near the pop of this bat and get over the grip it is white and we play on dirt do the math. get this bat.
Cons: it does take break a break in period for this bat to get to its potential but is not that bad out of the wrapper
Bill
Pros: I've used this in 3 games so far. In game 2, hit the ball about 350ft. It's a great bat, the ball flies off it. The end-load is definitely recommended.
Cons: None yet.
J-Till
Pros: This thing is amazing, absolutely ripping the ball with it, Heck I may buy another one just for the heck of it!
Cons: NONE
brettski
Pros: bat feels great to swing, grip is very sticky and comfortable, large sweet spot, flat black finish is awesome. at contact this bat has great feedback from the ball. you don't even feel the ball hitting it most of the time, it's such a smooth connection. once this breaks in i guarantee that it surpasses the 98 mph speed barrier for asa. first hit with this bat outta the wrapper was off the top of the fence, about a 303 ft. hit. after that just kept hitting scuds to the fence. hopefully when the bat breaks in they will be line-drive home runs. i hope the composite is as durable as miken claims, they haven't let me down yet so we'll see.
Cons: graphics were not as smooth as i would have hoped for a $300 bat. they seemed to have a definate raised feeling like they weren't put on right, haven't noticed any peeling though. grip is white so obviously it gets completely dirty as soon as you use it. end load takes some getting used to. the first few hits from inexperienced batters will be pop-ups from the end load dropping the bat slightly below the ball. other than those small things great work of art miken.
rd2296
Pros: Not hot out of the wrapper. It has taken at least a hundred swings to really make this bat feel good. Weather can be huge...don't hit it on a muggy day. After a couple hundred hits, it pops off pretty good. But just like my Miken nrg 500 ASA it took probably about 500 hits until it hot red hot. That bat was incredible. I have probably 10000 swings on it, and it still bombs the ball. It became the team bat real quickly.
Cons: white handle...dumb! gets dirty too fast. Takes a while to break in like any bat. But once broken in, it feels great. Worth the $$ I never went yard before and I've been playing in this league for years. Needless to say, with this bat I went yard 3 times...320-330ft
Angel
Pros: I have owned this bat for about a month. 5 games and 2 practices later, I am extremely impressed. I have always been a line drive gap hitter but this bat has turned me into a home run hitter. I was one hopping the 300 ft fence out of the wrapper and I am not a big guy(5"11, 180). Once the bat broke in, I am putting one out of the park at least once a game. Our fence is 300 to the corners and about 310 to center. The bat has a large sweet spot and doesn't numb your hands if you don't hit the ball in the sweet spot. The graphics and flat black colors are nice as well. Grip is nice and sticky as well.
Cons: I was expectating instant home run power out of the wrapper because of all the reviews I read about this bat but I had to wait about 100-120 hits off this bat to start seeing the real power of this bat but it is definitely worth the wait. The weight can be deceiving, I like swinging a 28 oz endloaded bat but after reading the reviews on the endloading on this bat, I decided to buy a 27 oz and I am glad I did because this bat feels heavier than 27 oz. due to how extremely endloaded this bat is. The white grip gets dirty quick, I wish they offered the bat with black grip.
SinfulSnap
Pros: Great sound and good pop out of the wrapper. Hits hard line drives. I am a girl and I haven't taken one out, but I love the way that this bat allows me to hit line drives and hard grounders. Ball flys off the bat. The end load also helps me to push the ball when I want and to have more control of my swing and timing.
Cons: White grip....looks nasty once you play and get it mucked up. Plus it is coming un-done at the bottom so I taped it up all the way.
MadmikeD
Pros: This bat hits very solid. Looks great, feels great.
Cons: I know people are saying hot out of the wrapper. But I dont think so. It hit alot of duds at first.

About the Brand
During the past few years, serious softball players have looked to Miken Sports for bats that provide the highest levels of performance and durability. Our relentless focus on both technology and the demands of players has made Miken the most demanded line of softball bats today.
Although composites are the latest trend in softball bats, the technology has been the core of Miken's success since the company's inception. Miken pioneered the modern high-performance composite softball bat in 1998 and has pushed the limits with every model since. No other bat company has driven innovation as hard, and the results are indisputable. Look around. If a player is serious about softball, they are most likely swinging a Miken bat.
The success of Miken Sports has been driven by two forces - innovation and a passion for delivering what players demand. The results are obvious. Players have decided that composites are the future for bats, and no one does composite like Miken.
