Other than the length, The Marucci Chase Utley Maple Wood bat differs from the youth model in weight. The Adult 30" model has an approximate weight of 27oz. The Youth 30" model will have an approximate weight of 25oz. Marucci does not sell any 30" adult bats. However, we offer several other brands that offer 30" adult models.

The biggest difference is that the Marucci CU26B has a barrel that is about .02" thicker than the Sam Bat CD1. Other than that, weight and balance will be similar.

The CU26B modelis going to have a barrel size approximately 2.52 inchs when the J143M is giogn to have a 2 1/4" barrel. They both will have a balanced swing weight to them.
