fastpitch travelball bat

Pros: No "Ding" with this bat! Solid performance from top to bottom. ...firm believer that better composite bats perform 25% to 30% better in distance hitting vs cheaper non-composite bats. Also check out the CF5.

Pros: My daughter has broken 3 Xenos. I am now a firm believer in one piece bats. First game first pitch 2 run home run. Lots of POP out of the wrapper.

Cons: The grip tends to seperate a little. This does not change the performance of the bat.

KG

No. Easton will be releasing a newer version of the Synge shortly.
K.B.
Which bat is better for a contact hitter, the Frenzy 4.0 or this bat? aaa
Both are designed the same, so either one would be good.
K.B.

I've not seen this one in a 28-18, smallest I've seen is the 29-19.

John
Is this bat all composite? rookie:))#5

Kara
Will this bat be available in a 33/24? jr
No, it is only available in a 33/23. The 2012 Easton Stealth Speed: FP11ST9 is available in a 33/24. The Stealth Speed is going to be similar to the Synergy Speed.
Kara
I read that the SRV4B was approved by all major organizations (ie. NSA, ASA, USSSA) except NCAA play. Is this newer version (FP11SY10)approved by all organizations as well as NCAA? If NCAA approved, what changed from last year's model to allow NCAA approval. THANKS! Scott
This bat is going to be allowed in NCAA for this year. It has the new USSSA B.P.F 1.15 stamp that makes it legal. The only changes they made for this year was a cosmetic change and that it meets the 1.15 B.P.F
Ryan
Is that bat considered balanced? (as opposed to end loaded, etc.) Toddo
The FP11SY10 is a balanced bat.
Kara
What is M.O.I? su
MOI stands for Moment of Inertia. In baseball terminology, this refers to the amount of energy required to swing a bat. Not all manufacturer's release the MOI of their bats, but a lower MOI means it will have a lighter swing weight and require less energy to swing the bat.
Tyler
Is this bat approved and legal for NCAA play? Don't wanna get the bat if it's not. Nikki
Yes it is. The FP11SY10 is legal for NCAA play and it is on their approved bat list.
Tyler
My DD uses an Easton Synergy Clarity SRV1B. It is a couple of years old and I would like to replace it. Which of the new Easton Synergy bats (speed or stealth) is most like the Easton Synergy Clarity? Pete
The Synergy Speed with its one-piece composite design will be more like the Synergy Clarity than the two-piece Stealth.
Patrick
Which bat is better for a power hitter this bat or the 2012 Easton Stealth Speed? Rosy
Typically, stronger power hitters prefer a one piece bat like the Synergy.
Tyler
Looking at buying my daughter a new bat. Will this bat be legal in 2013, or do I need to wait for the 2013's? When will the 2013 models come out? Larry
The 2012 Easton Synergy Speed has the required 2013 USSSA 1.20 BPF stamp and will be legal in USSSA in 2012 and 2013. We do not have an estimated time when the 2013 models will be released.
Kara
This bat and the FP11ST10 apear to have the same materials and be very similar except this is one piece and the stealth is a two piece. Is there any other diference and what is the advantage/disadvantage of one piece vs two piece? Trying to decide
One-piece bats are more stiff and are advantageous to power hitters because they help generate more power. Two-piece bats will offer a little bit of flex and are more preferred by contact hitters.
Jennifer
When I buy this bat will it have the new USSSA stamp needed for play after sept 2013? almost decided
Yes it will. If you refer to the Product Images, you will be able to see the stamp.
Tyler
Is this bat end loaded? micky
No. The Synergy Speed is a well balanced bat with a lower MOI for faster swing speeds.
Tyler
Does this bat require a break in period? tray112
The 2012 Easton Synergy Speed is a full composite bat. With that being said, it will require a break-in.
Jennifer
I use a 32" 19oz with average bat speed. Would this bat be a good choice for me?? skybomj
If you've been swinging a 19 oz bat with average bat speed, I wouldn't recommend going much heavier than that. The Easton Synergy is a great bat, and I would recommend it in a 30" 20 oz model.
Tyler
How does this bat compare to the Easton Stealth bats? LKaye
Both the 2012 Easton Synergy Speed and the 2012 Easton Stealth Speed use top of the line composite materials. The Easton Synergy is a one-piece bat, and will be more stiff than the Easton Stealth Speed.
Kara
I have a pretty quick bat speed and im use to swing a 33" 21oz, but i see that its not available in that size, would I be able to go from that to a 33"23oz and still have good bat speed? And also what makes this bat different from the synge? Sami
That's a tough question for us to answer without being able to see and analyze your swing. However, if you have good strength, swing speed, and bat control with the 21 oz bat you're currently using, a move up to a 23 oz model shouldn't be that big of an adjustment. According to Easton, the only difference between the Synergy and Synge is the length to weight ratio.
Tyler
My daughter has a 32in 2012 synge says its to light and hurts her hands real bad when the ball does not hit the sweet spot.I was looking to get her a synergy because its a little heavier but does this bat have the same vibration problem as the synge? pittpride14
The Easton Synergy Speed: FP11SY10 Fastpitch bat does a little better job at reducing vibration than the Synge. If you want even better vibration reduction, I would recommend going with a two-piece bat like the Easton Stealth Speed.
Tyler
I am an over 35's masters player currently using the first Synergy MDL.SCX24B 33/23. I need a new bat and would like something similar. Also what do you mean by it being 'stiff'? Jo
The Easton Synergy Speed: FP11SY10 Fastpitch bat would be the most comparable bat that is currently on the market to the SCX24B. The Synergy is a one-piece bat that is stiffer than a two-piece bat.
Tyler
Because this bat is not a two-piece composite bat, will it sting when I hit the ball because people have said that the Easton Synge stings when you hit the ball and that bat is also not a two piece composite. Bree
Typically, only one-piece alloy bats sting. Composite materials tend to reduce the amount of sting. However, the two-piece bats generally do have less sting than one-piece bats.
Kara
Does this bat meet the standards compared to the new 2013 ones? Beetle
Yes, the Easton Synergy Speed meets the same standards as the 2013 model.
Noah
Does this bat meet 2013 NCAA approval? I just saw an updated NCAA Approved Bat List as of Sept. 19, 2012 and I'm not seeing this bat listed. JJ
The Easton Synergy Speed: FP11SY10 Fastpitch bat is no longer approved for play in NCAA. It was up until mid-September.
Tyler
My daughter has this bat and we love it. Unfortunately, I think she has used it so well it may not last much longer and we were thinking of buying another one just like it, but in a newer model. Can you tell me what the newer model is and when it will be available? Is there going to be a 2013 Easton Synergy Speed? Tammy
The Easton Synergy Speed: FP11SY10 Fastpitch has been discontinued and was replaced by the 2013 Easton FS2: FP13S2 Fastpitch in Easton's 2013 Series, which we have available on our site. That model has also been discontinued, as Easton is releasing the 2014 Easton FS2: FP14S2 Fastpitch and the rest of their 2014 line on November 1st, 2013.
Katie
Is this bat still accepted for play in ASA? tiger33
The Easton Synergy Speed Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP11SY10 is approved for play in ASA, USSSA, NSA, ISA, and ISF.
John P.
