I buy the bats for my daughter and I am tired of spending 300 dollars for a composite bat to have it cracked in a year and a half she only has 1 year left of high school and travel ball left any suggestions toots1
The average life span of a composite bat is 1-2 seasons with normal use. If she plays competitive ball and high school ball. If she is getting a yr and a half out of it, she is actually doing well. Easton's warranty is 400 days. The manufacturer's offer the warranties in cases of breakage or cracking.

What is the -9 stand for? ez
The -9 stands for the length minus the weight. So if the bat is 30" a -9 is going to be 21 oz.

Unfortunately, there are no fastpitch bats in that size. Your closest option would be a 31 inch 18 ounce bat. Some recommendations are the DeMarini Bustos, Louisville Slugger Zephyr and Worth Lithium Storm HyperLite.

The 2012 Easton Stealth Speed will be the heaviest Easton fastpitch bat. The 2012 DeMarini CF5 will be the heaviest DeMarini bat. These will be the best choices for a men's league.

The recommended length for your daughter is 33". The -9 or -10 is dependent on her bad speed. If she has great bad speed she could use a -9. If she has average bat speed -10 would be more suitable.

My wife plays slow pitch coed softball and all the bats on our team are too heavy for her ( 26 oz or higher.) Im thinking about buying her the Easton Stealth Speed because of the reduced weight. Is there any distinct disadvantage or durability issue to using a fastpitch bat in a slowpitch game? Thanks. PK

Can you get me this bat (FP11ST9 34/24)? My daughter plays college ball and has finally craked this bat after thousands of hits. Hottest and most durable bat I have ever seen. Her season starts on 02/01 got to have one by then. DW
The Easton Stealth Speed: FP11ST9 Fastpitch is discontinued, so we will not be receiving any more in stock. A bat similar to the Stealth would be the 2014 Easton FX1: FP14X1. It is a two-piece fully composite model. The FX1 features the IMX Composite barrel with the ConneXion technology, similar to the Stealth. It also has the same 29/32" tapered handle and has an end-loaded swing weight.
