My 8 year old daughter is an ace hitter with fast hard pitching. This summer her friends are playing coach pitch and her 28oz. -11 is too light. I was thinking about getting this bat for her. Is it legal for softball?
The Anderson TechZilla XP: KTXP Youth is a baseball bat. You will need to get the Anderson RockeTech FP: KRKTFP Fastpitch for it to be legal in her league.
Do you carry a 28 inch and -12 ounce TechZilla bat?
The Anderson TechZilla XP: KTXP Youth bat is a -9 length to weight ratio. Therefore, a 28" model would be 19 oz.
Is Anderson coming out with a 2013 TechZilla XP, different color than light green?
Anderson will not be releasing a new TechZilla XP model in 2013.
Will Anderson be making a 2013 model of this? if so, will they make a big barrell model?
At this time, we have not received any details on Anderson's 2013 line of bats. I would recommend checking back with us in another month or so, as we'll probably have more information at that time.
Is the bat end loaded or is it balanced more for contact hitters?
The Anderson TechZilla XP has a one piece all alloy frame designed for balance and control.
Is this better in the cold weather than a full composite bat?
It is really recommended not to use any bat in temperatures around 50 degress or colder. However, alloy bats do tend to stand up a little better than composite bats do in colder temperatures.
Can a Techzilla be used in a batting cage without being damaged?
If your batting cage uses real baseballs, and not those yellow dimpled balls, then yes, it will be okay to use the Techzilla in the cages. Just make sure you're using real baseballs, as you would use in a game.
Is this a composite barrel?
The 2012 Anderson TechZilla XP: KTXP Youth is not composite rather a full alloy design featuring a multi-wall barrel!
Is this bat comparable to the 2006/2007 TechZilla?
Not much has changed over the years with the TechZilla. Anderson has improved the alloy material to give the TechZilla added strength. In terms of performance though, not much has changed based on customer feedback...it may even be better.

Is this bat legal for Little League?
Yes, this bat will be approved for Little League. This bat is an alloy bat and will be very durable.
I need a Legal Little League Bat- however my 12 year old is 5'10" and 160 - so he needs a 33" and a heavy bat
Unfortunately, small barrel bats only go up to a 32 inches. We only have 33 inch bats in the big barrel. If he is playing in the Junior League Division, we would be able to use a big barrel bat.
How does this bat compare to the 2010 model?
The 2012 Techzilla is more balanced and a slightly larger sweet spot than the 2010 model.
which is the better bat?? the techzilla or nanotech?? my son has the 2011 & it dented less than a month after he had it..
They will be very comparable bats. I have heard there is a better sweet spot in the NanoTech and that it has a little more pop.
What are the differences between the 2011 and the 2012?
The 2012 is simply a newer model. The same alloy is used in both bats.
This year or last years version better or same amount of pop?
There is no difference between the two models other than the graphics.
Are they composite?
No. The Techzilla is all alloy.
