Pros: We have every bat there is out there and not a one can hold a candle to the new Worth Prodigy Legit. My son plays 10u ball and is hitting great with the new bat.
Cons: None.
Wildman
Pros: Bought the 2012 version of this bat. Felt like I stole it from Just Bats at $99. Flat out best bang for the buck in my opinion!
Cons:
Synergy
Pros: Hard to rate anything perfect...however this bat has it all. right out of the box. Had a great first weekend with it and looking forward to many more. My 8u team uses the 28/18 version very well!!!
Cons: none...

Pros: Great bat, big pop great feel. My son loves it.
Cons:
Amy
Pros: This bat has been great. Do not use in cold weather. If temperature is in question, use some kind of bat warmer. Microwave hot pack in your bag with towels works well. We have owned just about every model and only a few have had slight flat spot or a rattle in the handle after full season of use. And those were replaced. I would bet most of these problems were at the beginning of season below 70 degrees
Cons: Having to take special care to keep it warm in cool westher and not being able to use in cold early season games
JDawg
Pros: My Son plays Travel 8U,hit about a 100 balls in the BC, 1st time up to bat hits a blast 3-run Homer, the bat has excellent pop and feels good!
Cons: NO dents yet its summer! :)
bbbatboom
Pros: My 9 year old loves this bat over RIP-IT, Easton, DeMarini and COMbat. He used this the most throughout the year and has more pop then any of the other bats and the best balance. He liked RIP-IT a close second but that bat dented quite a bit. Guess what? This one did not dent or crack! And he is an aggressive hitter who hits the ball well and often. Idk, maybe he uses the sweet spot and not the end of the bat. But all in all, I have seen almost every bat out there dent! And unfortunately, it's going to happen with production and quality these days.
Cons: None, great price! Made it through the season including last fall and winter games. Nice job, Worth!
Great Bat Scott parent
Pros: Excellent bat with great pop. Used it for 7 months and never cracked. Looking forward to next year's model.
Cons: None.

Worth Keith B coach
Pros: Good bat. Stop using your good bats for BP. Get a BP bat (wood or 2 1/4) and save this bat for games.
Cons: all bats have limited hits in them. Save it for the games.
Great bat!!! Rob coach
Pros: Great pop! Bought two of these bats, and haven't had the cracking and denting issues others have complained about. Maybe Worth has fixed the problem. Our entire 12u team is using my son's bat because they hit so well with it.
Cons: You may end up sharing with the whole team!
Not as durable as I'd hoped Coach R. coach
Pros: Great pop! Well balanced, for improved swing speed. Made my son a better hitter.
Cons: This is a good bat at this price point, but it will dent and crack if you're not careful, as almost all 2 3/4" -10 bats will. This is NOT a practice bat, nor is it a bat you should use on cold days (a baseball's density skyrockets below 60 degrees). Also, stay away if your child is a "power hitter", but it is fine for average hitters. Resist the temptation to share with the rest of your team.
worth the Miami storm player
Pros: i love it i hit 3 home runs in the season and its so good ton of pop
Cons: the vibration dents a little if your a contact hitter but a big boy or power hitter it DENTS
Great first Ben parent
Pros: This is the first bat I have bought that wasn't from your local sporting goods store. Son got picked up by a local travel team so needed to get a little more serious and a friend recommended justbats.com to me. Price and reviews on this bat are amazing. 28-18, nice balance and great pop. Has helped my little guy, U8 travel, go from an infield hitter to most shots to the grass now. This bat with solid mechanics has helped build his confidence and makes him a real threat when at the plate; and when you get a hold of the ball with this bat, everyone within four ball fields knows about it... great sound! I can't comment on durability as we only just bought it but with 10-12 games and 150 or so balls in the yard... no dents or flaws so far. Son says when he gets a hold of the sweet spot you don't feel a thing and has never complained of pain when hitting lower on the barrel. Moving to U9 kid pitch in the fall and don't plan on buying another bat any time soon.
Cons: None
Worth Prodigy is great Buddy coach
Pros: Great replacement for the Lithium. Half the team is using it because everyone loves it. It has great pop and balance. We are 9U and this bat really takes the pounding.
Cons: nothing wrong with this!
Works Well Scott other
Pros: Seems durable, Kid's like the feel and looks. Although the bat by its measurement would seem rather large and hard to swing, the weight is distributed well and can be swung simliar to a much lighter weight traditional type of bat (i.e. not a big barrel)
Cons: Haven't quite seen as much pop as I would have expected, but I think some of that is due to the larger bat weight, I think as my kids grow in size, the speed will increase as will the pop. Hard to really give a rating for the durability as we have only been using the bat now about three weeks.
bat split in one week Karson coach
Pros: Price and look.
Cons: The bat split with in one week of normal use. Had to send it back to Worth to see if I will be refunded or sent a replacement bat. Would not buy this bat again.
Best youth bat out here Adam Miller coach
Pros: My son has both the 17/27 and 18/28 and this is by far the best bat he has ever used. Many on the team switched to using his bat as well. Bar none, this is the best youth bat and we've used many (including all of the over-priced Easton models).
Cons: We misplaced the 17/27....not really a con, but I'll have to order another one!
Excellent Product... It's Legit! Coach Tomahawk24 coach
Pros: Great pop, very balanced, great sound, cool paint job, powerful sound. Great choice for 8U and 9U!
Cons: None after one season. No dents, no chips, and no complaints!
Cracks Easily ... Dad parent
Pros: Cheap starter bat.
Cons: Cracks easily, sweet spot is micro small. It is wise to move up to a Demarini if swinger has above average power.

About the Brand
Worth, Inc. can trace its beginning back to the year 1912, when George Sharp Lannom, Jr. purchased a tannery in Tullahoma, Tennessee and established the Lannom Manufacturing Company. Initially, the firm tanned leather for harnesses and horse collars they manufactured. However, as the automobile grew in popularity, the demand for the company's harnesses and collars declined, so Lannom shifted its manufacturing resources toward production of leather covered baseballs and softballs under the "Worth" brand, and men's leather dress gloves under the "Craig" brand.
Charles (Chuck) E. Parish joined Lannom in 1930 as a salesman and married G.S. Lannom, Jr.'s daughter, Martha Lannom several years later. Following Mr. Lannom's death, Parish acquired controlling interest in the company, which led to a division of company assets between himself and Lannom's son G.S. Lannom III. Lannom maintained the glove works while Parish, "The Baron of Baseballs," built the Lannom baseball business into the world's largest manufacturer of baseballs.
Upon graduation from Vanderbilt University in 1959, Chuck Parish's son, John, joined the Lannom organization. He persuaded his father to expand the company's Caribbean operations and enter the baseball bat business in 1970. In 1975, following the death of his father, John Parish took over the reigns of the company. Under his leadership, the company diversified and expanded its production line and developed the personnel, technical know-how, and physical facilities to become one of the largest and most financially sound manufacturers in the entire sporting goods industry.
The WorthSports Company was formally organized in 1975 as the sales and marketing arm for all sporting goods products and divisions of Lannom. In addition to the normal marketing functions, Worth also emphasizes and provides new product research and development. In fact, the emphasis placed on this development is largely responsible for Worth's leadership role in the sporting goods industry.
When Worth entered the bat business all bats were made from Northern White Ash. Worth then established wood mills in Pennsylvania and New York to provide the strong but relatively lightweight ash wood stock. Then directions were shifted to aluminum and other composites and in 1968 Lannom Manufacturing produced its first aluminum bat. The company's Jess Heald was primarily responsible for its development. The sale of aluminum bats to amateur baseball and softball players mushroomed in the 70's, helping Lannom achieve record results. In 1994, because of market demands, more emphasis was placed on the aluminum division and an expansion was completed in Tullahoma.
One of the first and most significant results of the R&D program was the development of the Polyurethane (Poly-X™) core for baseballs and softballs. This one innovation revolutionized the entire softball world; up to this time, the traditional softball core was constructed of cork and latex. Worth, through the use of "petrochemical" formulation, created a softball that was more consistent in performance and demonstrated extended durability, thereby setting the stage for the establishment of formal specifications and standards for the industry. More recently, the expanded research and development team has made another revolutionary addition to the aluminum bats called the SuperCell EST (Exterior Shell Technology) Bat.
One product Worth is very proud of is its RIF (Reduced Injury Factor) baseballs and softballs. Introduced in baseballs in the late '80's, the RIF design features a polyurethane center that makes the ball softer than the traditional yarn wound ball, while keeping the weight, size and liveliness. The balls are used mainly in youth leagues, where safety is of major concern. The technology is now being used in Worth softballs as well. New technology is constantly being developed to revolutionize the softball industry as we know it today.
In 2007, Worth was acquired by Jarden Corporation and is now a division of Rawlings and Jarden Team Sports.
