Lightweight and great looking. 30" bat weighed in at 19.75 oz. Bat was used in a U12 wood bat tournament. Bat worked great for the contact hitters until a player broke it by hitting a fastball right on the Viper logo.
Viper lightweight ash model had more pop and was only slightly heavier.

Does this bat have the USSSA stamp?
The Viper Ultralight Birch Wood Bat: VYUL Senior League does not have a USSSA stamp. However, the USSSA stamp is not required on a wood bat.
My son will be 10 years old in February. He weighs 100 lbs. How do I measure for bat length and weight so I know what to get him. He wants a wood bat and plays Little League (AAA division) so I assume a "big" barrel is not appropriate? This is more or less a bat to practice and not play with.
