It is balanced, easy to swing and has a larger barrel than most bats of this kind. The wood is harder than the maple Mizuno & Rawlings bats I own. It has a large knob which feels good on bottom hand and takes presure off of that hand on contact. The thin handle feels good and keeps the bat light. I've been in a hardball league 3 years and this is the best of the 5 bats I've used.
It is more expensive than most bats, but worth it. If you haven't swung a bat with an extra large knob I suggest you do so before buying one. I wouldn't swing anything else but it isn't for everyone and you'll need to findout for yourself.
