Pros: Fantastic bat! Been searching to find a bat that son loved as much as his Marucci Cat5. That search is over. Very easy to swing, no sting, and GIANT sweet spot. The ball explodes off this bat. The 30-day "Love it or return it" program makes this a very easy decision. I highly recommend giving this bat a try. Rip-It got it right with this bat.

NYstateofmind
Pros: Great grip, beautiful finish. Love it or Return it performance guarantee. 400 day Manufactures warranty.
Cons: The bat seems very end weighted to me. Used a Marrucci CAT 5 last season which felt way more evenly balanced than this bat. I'm not buying into the AIR technology giving more evenly balanced bat. Does anyone else feel this way about the bat's weight distribution?
Ralph
Pros: Good balance, but a little end weighted.
Cons: Grip is a little too thin for me. Also a lot of vibration on hits on the handle. Ball doesn't seem to carry as far as other BBCOR bats I have tried. Paint chipped on first swing.
ctrain
Pros: Very Balanced, great grip, tons of pop
Cons: None.
Chas
Pros: Nice balance, great feel, and a sharp look to it. Also, has a large barrel size.
Cons: Sounds good when hit but also sounds thin or hollow at the same time if that makes sense. Paint easily chipped the 1st time out hitting it near the very end of the barrel.
Sully
Pros: Much improved from last years model. With the reduction in head weight the balance is much better. Bat speed has increased substantially with this new design. Ball comes off very hot for a BBCOR bat. Highly recommend this one!! You can't go wrong with Rip-it. If you don't like it they will take it back inside the first 30 days.
Cons: Change the color of the grip to something other than white, red would be a good option on this color scheme.
Scott
Pros: Baseballs jump off this bat. After significant use by son and team bat has retained its pop.
Cons: Handle tore. Able to buy replacement on Ebay. Good as new.
jackets baseball 3
Pros: Great pop! My trainer look at it for 10 minutes to make sure it was legal. I have hit about 500 balls so far and it is amazing!
Cons: grip sometimes gives blisters
Brian H
Pros: Have bought only Rip-it brand for the last 3 years. These things hit consistently better in all aspects than all others
Cons: None
Danil Y
Pros: While the videos are a joke, the quality of the bat is remarkable. I have the Rip It RED recertified Prototype, the White Prototype II and now the AIR. The RED (no longer available) is a GREAT bat but does not have the balance this one has. My swing speed is an amazing 6 MPH faster with this bat which translates to more line drives. I had to choke up 1 1/2 inches (size 32) to achieve the same swing speed and did not have near the consistency in hitting the ball on a line. The White Prototype II did not have the "pop" the RED displayed but was still an above average bat. More about Rip It, my grips were damaged on two of my bats and they were promptly replaced without question. Great bats, great service, what more would you want.
Cons:
Live Amo
Pros: Feels light. Well balanced. Large sweet spot. Comfortable grip eliminates sting on miss hit balls

Pros: this is a great bat with great pop. i've been looking for a good bat for a while now and my search is over
Cons: nothing
Dillon2918
Pros: Decent, but bad for the money.
Cons: There is so much weight in the handle the bat feels heavier than it is. I could swing a 32" 29oz Easton faster than this. The grip gets dirty and loses its stickiness. For the price go buy an S3 or XL3
Nuke83
Pros: Seemed to have decent pop (for the 2 practices I got to use it). Felt lighter than my S1
Cons: Only lasted 2 practices before denting and breaking end cap. Caught a pitch on end of bat and it dented the very end of bat and cracked the cap. Returning to them with their 30 day love it or return it policy. Never really got a chance to really test the performance.
Woody
Pros: Great feel in your hands. Well balanced and amazing pop. No vibrations just smooth!
Cons: None.
akil
Pros: I used it, it feels amazing. You will be amazed when you hit the ball. This bat makes your hands quick and is fast through the zone.
Cons: It stings a little bit because it doesn't have the second piece to the barrel.
Bubba
Pros: It feels as if it is not a -3 but a -8. It has as much pop as a composite bat. Simple as that. I love it.
Cons: The white grip gets dirty really fast. Had to think of something. Really though NONE!

Cons: The grip is deteriorating.
Alex C
Pros: Best bat I've ever used. Very quick! Feels like its not even a BBCOR bat. Grip is very comfortable.
Cons: NOTHING!
Iweejun
Pros: Great pop, nice balance, son is 6'2' 150# sprays line drives between 2nd and 3rd.
Cons: I thought the end cap issue was solved, apparently not.Even though it's Feb. we're in full school play, had it less than a month he drives it toward first when we hear a sound like air escaping, ball dribbles to first brings bat in after being thrown out and end cap is busted with what looks like seal between aluminum and cap peeled out. Sent back for warranty, we'll see.
Danish
Pros: Nice pop great for the price
Cons: but dents very easy
14u majors north texas
Pros: Great for power hitters. Crazy pop.I have seen two balls hit 400' plus and many 350' 360'. Customer service is awesome and its made in the U.S.A
Cons: we have had some end caps cracking after big hits.If rip -it could get their end cap problem solved there would be no reason for any other BBCOR.
Iweejun
Pros: Great balance and pop with larger sweet spot.
Cons: Cap busted less than a month into play. Sent it back to Rip-It and they overnighted a new one with improved grip. Bad cap, great warranty service.
Flaxon Waxon
Pros: Amazing grip with the even light weight swing destroys the ball in the super springy sweet spot! Would not use any other bat with all the line drives I've hit! And the warranty is great!

Anonymous
Pros: Great Bat. Has good pop.
Cons: The grip and barrel get really dirty and the size thing on the knob came off in 1 month of using the bat. But still a awesome bat.
BMT baseball
Pros: It's well balanced, lightweight, looks awesome, and has the largest sweet spot on a bat.
Cons: I only have one bat.
Jeff
Pros: My son was swinging a DeMarini Voodoo 33/30 and it's like night and day...Voodoo was top heavy, the BBCOR Air is balanced and has nice pop off the bat. He loves it! Only draw back is all his teammates want to use it, too.
Cons: Handle gets dirty.
#big#daddy#bomber
Pros: This bbcor bat is supers amazing and if you were to ever hit with it you would probably say the same. If you don't like one piece bats then you might want to rethink this to yourself.;)
Cons: I hate to love this bat
Crawdaddy
Pros: Bat has awesome pop for a BBCOR. Well balanced, great sound, cannot wait for the 1st game of the season...
Cons: Handle may be a touch too thick but not so much that it makes reduces my positive review
Sean McDermott
Pros: *Very nice finish on the bat *Amazing pop off the sweet spot of the bat *Great sound *Awesome grip *Most balanced bat out there *Amazing bat for power hitters and for Line-drive hitters
Cons: *Needs to be broken in to have the best performance (500 hits, after every hit rotate the bat 90 degrees) *There is a bit of sting if you hit the ball at the end of the bat ***Over all the best bat I have ever had once it is broken in
damon
Pros: Cheap price.
Cons: High school team bought 6 for team use. 10 games into season we have broken the end cap on 5 off them. Not a good bat at all.
Rip Hitter
Pros: This bat is the bat I will use forever I have at least a .850 batting average with about 18 at bats all thanks to this bat every hit is a rocket off of it!!! You truly will be ripping the ball! GREAT BAT!
Cons: nothin perfect!
Leo
Pros: This is by far the best bat I have ever used in my life. I'm 15 years old, playing for my high school team, and this bat has the most pop of any bat I've ever seen. Huge sweet spot, insanely balanced and the grip is awesome too. Beats the CF5, Marucci Black, XL2, and all those by a mile.
Cons: Nothing, there are absolutely no flaws in this bat.
Torch
Pros: Great bat better than Easton S3 and XL3 huge pop buy this bat you won't be disappointed
Cons: none

Mb$$$
Pros: Has amazing pop, good balance, and feels great. I would recommend this for more of a power hitter.

big hitter
Pros: great bat! ive been pounding the ball to the fence even with the wind blowing against me! Huge pop!
Cons: white handle got dirty the first day, but is cleanable with a wet towel
Cole
Pros: That rip it prototype air is a great bat with great balance and feel. My son who is in High school has hit with it the past 2 days and it has lots of pop and delivers sold contact hits,it is just a all around great bat to have. We have had them all Easton S1 ,XL1 ,5150, the Velo 5150,Voodoo, Louisville Omaha, Marucci black and cat bat, etc etc. The rip it air bat is way better in pop balance and hitting performance.Try it out like they say 30 day buy it back it you don't like it but, if you try it you will keep it.
Cons: Non at all 100% great hitting bat
NickRoyals20
Pros: This bat is amazing, such a balanced bat with great pop

Cons: Mine scratched easily, but no big deal.
mrme
Pros: looks cool
Cons: My wood bat goes 60' farther.
tyler
Pros: The bat was very good and the bat had more pop than any other BBCOR. It does feel a little heavy but I can still get it around. The paint does not chip at all and the grip is very nice.
Cons: In my seventh game I had a single off the end which sounded weird. Two games later I took another one off the end and the end cap went flying. The bat would have gotten 5 stars but it broke in our tenth game. But it is under warranty. The grip does get very black and dirty the first time you use it.

Pros: Unfortunately, it cracked my second at bat. It was good because I hit a 300 foot HR with it my first at bat.

Pros: My kid's a powerhitter who's used Eastons his whole life...we took a chance on the rip-it and havent been disappointed at all. He loves the bat, the performance, and the results. This is his 1st BBCOR bat and the power and pop are still there. He loves the bat and those that were hassling him for buying it are now wanting to use it in the games...sorry, that wont happen! The bat is everything we were hoping it would be....rock on Rip-It!!
Cons: none
D

DRE
Pros: Best BBCOR bat you can own very well balanced and has a lot of pop. I guarantee you will hit bombs with this bat.
Cons: Yeah right, there's any Cons.
3 Slugger Dad
Pros: bought this (32/29) for my 13 yr old for his U-13 travel team to start getting him ready for HS BBCOR .50 bat weight and performance, and he started crushing the ball on first day of tournament. the balance of this bat allowed him to turn his hips and drive the barrel through the zone aggressively and sent the longest hit of the tourney. buying another one in 33.5/30.5 to put away until next spring for 1st year HS baseball.
Cons: none yet
nltb11
Pros: Bat is so smooth! Best balanced BBCOR bat there is! This bat has so much pop. I was worried about this bat at first bc of the name but this bar is amazing! Best BBCOR ever!
Cons: NONE
Hunter woodall
Pros: Great pop out of the box and looks good. It feels amazing, it's a great bat.
Cons: It hit harder when I got it out of the box but the bat fell off, the pop went away. Other than that it's a great bat. If they could fix the pop it would be the best bat on the market.
KC
Pros: Bat has great pop! If you are looking for a balanced bat with excellent pop and is good for both contact and power hitters-This is the bat! RIP-IT customer service is second to none! Only company which offers a "30 Day-Love It or Return It" policy. Seriously, that is how good the bat is.
Cons: Your whole team will want to start using your bat, especially when they can't get a hit using their Voodoo bats, etc. Actually gets annoying after awhile..
Bigshot1
Pros: So far i love this bat. Very balanced and it does have a lot of pop. The grip is comfortable on the hands. Very good bat.
Cons: Only issue i have is that this bat scratched easily but thats not that big of a deal.
triston
Pros: 30 day love or return it was a no brainer. Very balanced, good pop. I'm happy.
Cons: None!
Flash32
Pros: Really nice grip Lots of pop The first hit i had with this bat was a himerun, no lie!
Cons: None at all
I Live for this
Pros: Very well balanced, swings great. Comes in 1/2 inch increment sizes. You might need a slightly bigger bat than you think because it swings fast and light. The performance was nothing special when the weather was cool but when the weather heated up, so did this bat. Very good performance for a BBCOR. We exchanged the original one for one a 1/2 inch longer because of the lightness mentioned above, the company complied with no objections.
Cons: You may need a slightly larger size bat than with other models. My experience is that it did not perform well in cool weather.
Mom
Pros: It's super sleek, and sexy. When you put it in your hand, it swings for you and you automatically hit a home run.
Cons: You haven't bought it yet.
Tech11165
Pros: My son loves this bat. Great hits. Nice pop for BBCOR. No issues for plaing in cold. Had an end cap start to get loose. Emailed and got a prepaid Fed Ex label. Sent in and the day they recieved it they sent us the replacement all with in a week. Cant beat that.
Cons: None
nubine5
Pros: Nothing but praise for this bat. Very balanced which has increased his bat speed. Has hit the middle of the baseball more resulting in less than 10 percent fly outs in over 80 at bats this season. Very durable bat that has been used by many of his teammates this season. Nice pop for bbcor. Has hit a couple of home runs for his high school summer team.
Cons: bbcor.
Anthony G.
Pros: Very well balanced bat. sleek and rips through each swing. the sweet spot seems to be the entire bat. My son is a double monster with this bat. definitely the best bat to come around since the B-1.
Cons: Everyone on the team wants to use it!

Pros: Nice pop, good grip, hardly any sting swings nice

Pros: It has a very cool look to it, and has good pop. But..if your looking for a balanced bat, this bat is NOT what you want. Even though reviews and descriptions say that it is balanced, it's not. If you want balance, go for the 2012 Voodoo, Easton S1 or 2, or Demarini VXM NVS, and CF5.
Cons: Not balanced like in descriptions, top heavy.
JY J.Young parent
Pros: Excellent pop right out the box, and the ball comes off the bat FAST. I can see my son hitting his first home run with this bat.
Cons: Grip is already getting dirty, wish it were in a darker color. But with the performance of the bat, who cares!!
RIP-IT Christian McHatton player
Pros: Has a great sweet spot. Light and easy to get through the zone. Ball flies off of the bat. Easily the best on Market.
Cons: None
Rip It Bat Review Logan Rascoe player
Pros: The RIP-IT bats have a great feel. The ball really zings off my bat when I make contact. It's almost as if I don't even feel the ball come off the bat at all. I wouldn't want my college team to swing anything but RIP-IT bats.
Cons: none
Greatest bat I've ever swung. Hank Stewart player
Pros: The bat is very light. I feel like it is very well balanced and balls fly off of this bat. It feels amazing in my hands, like it was meant for me to be swinging.
Cons: From time to time, the caps on the end of the barrel would pop off.
Rip-It Brady Reese player
Pros: The 2013 RIP-IT is a very good bat. The grip on the bat and the balance throughout the bat feels great. My college baseball team used the RIP-IT bats last season and we were all very satisfied with the bat.
Cons: The only con that I had with the RIP-IT bat is that the grip wore down quicker than I anticipated.
Rip-It Review Blane Thomas player
Pros: There are many pros when it comes to the RIP-IT bats. My college baseball team uses them and I have never used a bat with this great of pop and comfort to it! Great pick up for any age of baseball play.
Cons: There isn't really any cons I can think of when it comes to this bat. The RIP-IT bats are an overall great bat.
RIP-IT Nick Woltermann player
Pros: The 2013 RIP-IT provides hitters with a comfortable grip, and little vibration. Great bat for all types of hitters. Has great pop, durable, and will seem to give you the edge over many other bats.
Cons: Caps of bat would break easily. Grip wore down a little to quick.
Bat Review Cody Morris player

Great Bat Anonymous player
Pros: I have swung this bat for over a year and It hasn't lost any pop. It is an extremely durable bat and has an excellent grip. The power in the bat is amazing. It is a great bat for someone who likes to hit balls in the gap. The ball always comes off the bat solid
Cons: It has a small sweet spot and the handle stains.
Hands down best on the market Big Dave player
Pros: Grip, Durability, Pop, Feel I originally bought the prototype 2 and loved it so much i decided to get the air the next season. My whole team uses my bat and i have to put it in my bag so they dont because they wont keep their hands off !Amazing quality. Best customer service. Rip-it does all the right things you would want a company would do and they make their bats in the USA. 11/10 in every category.
Cons: None
BBCOR AIR Noah Haynes - Elgin High School (OH) player
Pros: Our team just received these new bats and we have been swinging them for approximately a week. Unlike many new bats out of the wrapper, I felt that this bat has everything I am looking for in a bat, including even weight distribution and a large enough sweet spot, even for not so ideal pitches. Loved the Prototype II from last year, but have come to find I like this bat even more. Great Product from RIP-IT!!!
Cons: Haven't had the bat long enough to determine durability.
awesome bat brian player
Pros: great feel awesome sweet spot
Cons: dosent last very long it lost pop in about a year of heavy use
Orlando Scorpions 10U R. Garcia parent
Pros: 10Under traveling baseball team that has just gotten started. The boys love them. The bat feels well balanced, its structure is solid and has very good grip. It worked well for us in our first tournament by scoring more than 80 runs. No visible issue with dings or dents or paint after initial use and have been using them regularly for 5 weeks now. Appear to be excellent bats!!!!
Cons: None

At the heart of RIP-IT is our design team, a combination of coaches, players, engineers, and industry veterans. Most recently, the team got together to create the RIP-IT EliteFP. The result was a fastpitch bat that was pushed to the limit with the sole purpose of hitting the ball farther than any other bat.
Clearview is a pioneering company that invents, designs, and manufactures innovative products for the fastpitch industry. It has identified the opportunities for functional equipment and apparel to meet needs and wants of club, high school and college teams. Clearview, together with its affiliates, SG manufacturing have established individually operated organizations within a unique group of facilities to enhance technology, efficiency, productivity, and—most importantly—performance on the field.
With new products always in the works you can count on RIP-IT to continue to push the envelope and provide the Elite player with the most advanced Elite Equipment available.
