Pros: I bought this bat for my 14U daughter (4'9" - 100lbs) and she loves it. She said the feel is very comfortable and solid without any vibration. I was impressed that she has been able to use it for big hits and put down very soft bunts in a game after very little usage. This one is a keeper.

Cons: The grip did create a blister on her bottom hand after her first lesson. She is now wearing a glove on that hand which is a slight adjustment. I might replace the grip at some point but I consider this pretty minor.

Pros: My daughter was having a hard time deciding on a bat. I received an email about this new Mizuno bat and just went for it. She loves it! She said it's getting the job done as she continues to train from the left side of the plate. Also, a nice looking bat. It's not too flashy.

Cons: It's a lighter bat which works for my daughter. She is a smaller framed person. I different person might consider the bat too light.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Everything. This bat has no pop. It's a horrible design. Mizuno should stick cleats only.

Whiteout bat Tori player

Pros: I am a college player now, I use this bat in high school. This bat is not "good enough" for me as a college player. This is a good bat for slappers or bunters.

Cons: I use to hit bombs a lot with my other bat, with this bat it feels so good to hit with but the ball just dies in the air. Cap on the end has started to come off.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Mizuno Whiteout Fastpitch Softball Bat: MZWOFP -10? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Would you recommend this bat over the Louisville Slugger oneX bat? B-rennan
Based on customer reviews the Louisville Slugger TPS oneX has been a huge hit already, and with that being said I would not recommend the Mizuno Whiteout over the oneX.
Noah
I just purchased this bat. Is it ready to go or does it need to be broken in? Mr. Jones
The Mizuno Whiteout: MZWOFP -10 Fastpitch bat is a one-piece fully composite design. Therefore it will require a break-in period of about 150-200 hits off a tee or soft-toss before it is fully broken in and reaches maximum performance and durability. Also, rotate the bat a quarter of an inch between each hit to ensure an even break-in.

Would you buy this bat over the 2014 worth 454? How do they compare? darrell
The 2014 Worth 454 and the Mizuno Whiteout: MZWOFP -10 Fastpitch are both great bats and I do not have a preference for one over the other. They are both one-piece full composite bats and will have very similar balanced feels.
Noah

Looking at purchasing this bat. My daughter is 12 years old 5'3" 135 lbs. She has a 32" 21 oz. CF6. What do you recommend a 32" 22 oz. or a 33" 23 oz.? Thanks. Joe

My daughter is 5"8" and 125 lbs, what size bat for fastpitch travel softball J
We suggest that she uses a 33" bat in length.

Is this bat a single wall bat? My girl's softball league does not allow double wall, so I want to confirm that this is a single wall bat. dan
This Mizuno Whiteout (MZWOFP) -10 Fastpitch bat would feature a single wall barrel construction. However, that single wall would be composed of multiple layers of composite material. If the league is going to restrict the players to single wall models, I would guess they would have a non-approved bats list. It's tough for me to say you can absolutely use this bat, as ruling definitely varies in regards to this design. I would absolutely run it by a league director, but this Whiteout offers a single wall construction.
