Pros:
In a recent Bat Wars promotion, I hit all the various bats listed (Rawlings, Louisville Slugger,Rip-it, Easton, Demorini, etc.) and for Balance, POP, feel and over all functionality and value (price) the Mattingly Saber was hands down the best.

Pros:
Great balance, not top heavy like a lot of the bats today. Huge sweet spot and great overall feel.
Cons:
Season still young, hopefully none the life of this bat!

Pros:
I have had this bat for 2 years and it can take a beating. i play on 7 different leagues and your varsity chooses this bat over some big name brands. It's worth your money!

i cant seem to find any reviews on this bat, but need a bbcor under 150. any suggestions?

For a BBCOR under $150, my top recommendations are the Louisville Slugger BB126, Nike Aero Thunder Fuse BBATF, Rawlings Plasma BBCPLA, and Mattingly Saber SBRABB. All are great BBCOR bats under $150

What is the type of grip? I know it is v-grip. Give me a better description.

Actually, the Saber from Mattingly does not have a v-grip. It has a traditional round handle with your standard synthetic leather grip.

This bat is not a V-grip, Mattingly did things a little different and went to a standard round grip with this bat.

How would you rate the mattingly saber or demon bbcors. I cant find many reviews about them.

Both bats are going to be similar in performance. The Demon is made with a slightly higher quality alloy than the Saber.
