Pros:
Have been a fan of Mattingly Bats for several years, and this was the first wood bat I purchased from them. Bought this specifically for a wood bat tournament in Atlanta. Saw several wood bats break over the weekend, but not the Mattingly. Was concerned given the V grip has you hitting the ball in the place over and over again.

Cons:
Although I knowingly bought the youth model to get 31â€, the barrel was only 2.25". 2.5" would have been better, but still a good bat.

Pros:
Great bat good pop, looks good, V-Grip is cool.

Cons:
Broke it once. I taped it back up no big deal. Also you might need tape for the grip.

Pros:
Great bat.Mattingly did it again.My son loves it.Great product.The handle is the best part.Teaches kids the correct way to hit.

The weights on wood bats will vary due to the amount of moisture being different in each bat. The weight of these bats will be -3 to -5.

This bat will be a -6 to -8 length to weight ratio. If that bat is 31 inches, then it will weigh 23-25 ounces.
