Nice grip, large barrel. When making contact feels like a wood bat. This bat allows you to still swing your wood bat and not make many changes to your swing.If you hit good with wood. You'll love this bat. Very nice sound from the bat when you make good contact. Loud beast sound! Love this bat. You have control of the ball.
Fact, These BBCOR bats aren't going to help you out. You have to be a hitter. No more half swings shots to the warning track. Fundimentals Required.

The ruling applies only to the 33" Cat 5 BBCOR. All other sizes in the Cat 5 line are approved for NCAAA and High School play.
Will the new Marucci black 33/30 be banned as well?
No. The Marucci Blacks are not in any jeopardy of being banned.
Is the Marucci Cat 5 31/28 legal to use in highschool play? My son's coach just told him it was not and we spent a lot of money on this bat. If it is illegal what can be done?
Yes. The 31" Cat 5 is absolutely legal for use in high school. ONLY the 33 inch model has been banned.
