Pros: Great grip, feels real solid when you hit the ball, good looking bat, great sound when you hit the ball, well balanced (but a little end loaded), low vibration
Cons: lacks the bouncy/flex feeling when you hit the ball because of the lack of pop (it feels like you're hitting with a metal pipe)but that provides the solid feel. i dont know how it compares to other bbcor bats but it was about what i expected from bbcor bats
Anonymous
Pros: ok grip but lots of pop
Cons:
Luther
Pros: My experience tells me that most BBCOR bats are going to be about the same in pop. It's really all about the feel and looks. The BB126 has great balance, solid grip and seems very sturdy. Definitely the BEST looking bat I've ever seen. Picture doesn't do it justice.
Cons: Price is kind of high, but I think for a well-made bat it's worth it
J. Mott
Pros: Great balance and exceptional pop
Cons: Didn't like it the first couple of times I Hit with it but after it got broke in, I love it
RonRon
Pros: Hits pretty well and has a good balance point, but I don't think it has as much pop as some of the more expensive bats.
Cons: Why put such a cheap grip on an expensive bat?
fiyaondamtn
Pros: First of all, awesome paint job. Bat is very balanced. I swung the first Omaha bbcor and this one seems to bring more pop to the table. Been hitting lasers in the cage. Sound off the bat is different, but actually kinda cool.
Cons: No problems. Really happy with my purchase.
Anonymous
Pros: Very balanced bat, lots of pop, reasonably priced.
Cons: The handle everyone still wraps bats for right handed hitters. One batting practice and the grip needs to be replaced!
BIG STICK
Pros: I just watched FAU destroy the ball last night. 2 homers and 3 extra base hits. This bat has more pop than the Surge or the Voodoo. The paint job is sick! Check out the price.
Cons:
bombsallday26
Pros: At first I thought the new BBCOR bats would be straight terrible, but they have proved me wrong. They still have great pop compared to a BESR bat but the ball comes off the bat a little slower. The bat is well balanced especially the 33. The paint job is awesome and is the one of the better sounding BBCOR bats.
Cons: I do not like the tape as i generally use a thin layer of athletic tape
po4life
Pros: this bats legit. its got tons of pop for a bbcor. its the best value bat out of all the new ones. people sayin the grip is weak are right but who cares bat tape is what 5 bucks? this is the bat to use.
Cons: none great bat all around.
Anonymous
Pros: great bat. has a lot of pop and the ball jumps off the bat.
Cons: little more top heavy that the 2011 omaha.
H.Rubin
Pros: Best pop among BBCOR. Biggest sweet spot of BBCOR bats. The thing about BBCOR, is that you actually have to hit the ball on the sweet spot to get a good hit. Just like a wood bat. The BBCOR is not only safer, but it makes players better. I've swung the Voodoo, the Rawlings, the Easton, the older omaha, the vexxum... this is hands down the best one of the BBCOR bats! BUY THIS BAT!
Cons: Slightly Top Heavy. Grip too thin above knob. I wish there was a bigger taper above the knob. but it is easily fixed with tape.
Juiced
Pros: Bat has better pop sound than the voodoo black. Less vibration than the last years Omaha BBCOR. Takes about 200 hits to break-in. After that the balls will fly. You'll know when you square one up by the sound it makes.
Cons: It's a bit top heavy but you get used to it.
KISKI21
Pros: I loved this bat during BP. Brings a different type of Omaha to the table. and just bc its BBCOR this bad has great POP.
Cons: Little bit Top Heavy but what are you going to do
baseballismylife
Pros: It has an amzing paint job, good sound when coming off the bat, I personally think it is the best bbcor approved bat, and I definetly recommend this bat to others.
Cons: None
Coach B
Pros: Our High School Team loves this bat. Very well balanced and very good pop. I can see the positive effect of the BBCOR Bats on California HS baseball but if you have a good swing you will not see a drop off in your numbers using the TPX Omaha
Cons: Price..Tough on school budgets in a down economy to have to buy all new bats in CA
cubs fan006
Pros: i got the omaha hearing about how they loosened up the bbcor standards and that i would be a good bat and they were right. the first hit you get you will be depressed because it doesnt have the "ping" noise like the exo had but the ball will still go far. it is like hitting the besr demarini vexxum thats how good it is.
Cons: it doesnt have a loud "ping" when you hit the ball so you dont hear that you had a solid hit. it also has the worst tape possible go to Dick's Sportinggoods and buy some hockey tape and wrap it with that it works wonders.
Fire14u
Pros: Never used a BBCOR bat before but I hope there all like this one.... Great look and lots of pop.
Cons: grip and a little top heavy but fine
Jon K.
Pros: The ping is unique and i love it. it is very light and easy to swing. Way better then alot of the besr bats ive used. at first I was mad to realize that it was a one piece bat and i thought it looked like a little kid bat but every bat is like that and ive gotten used to it. the paint job is sick. pop takes a while to break in
Cons: The tape job is pretty bad but nothing a little hockey tape can't fix. It stings sometimes when you hit even on the sweet spot.
TPX Believer
Pros: This Omaha is great. Especially in the 32/29 length/weight. It has the best pop of any BBCOR bat even when it isn't broken in.
Cons: Some vibration when you hit a ball off the shaft and the end of the bat
BuckPrideCoach
Pros: great feel, very balanced bat with optimal sweet spot.
Cons: slightly better pop than usual bbcor but still lacks pop of former omaha
Anonymous
Pros: This bat has a ton of pop. I went 6 for 8 in three games. has a good grip.Very well balanced, not top heavy.
Cons: none
Anonymous

Cons: none
HS FRESHMAN
Pros: Nice pop with a good swing it is no different than BESR.
Cons: Bad Grip
Pat #2
Pros: I love this bat....... nice pop for a bbcor. the paint job is sick! everyone wants to use it from kids to college players omaha always performs. GREAT BAT!!
Cons: grip tape....but i preffer to use thin tape anyways
Connor
Pros: I got this bat for Christmas, its the first bbcor I've ever tried, and i cant see a difference between it and the BESR certified bats. The weight is also very evenly distributed. Great Bat and a ton of pop!
Cons: None, Awesome Bat!
K
Pros: The bat is nice looking, decent pop, first bbcor i have swung before.
Cons: The bat is easily dented and the end cap isnt the best, very top heavy
schultzie
Pros: great pop
Cons: came with a made in china sicker on it confused
brewers25
Pros: This is a very good bat.Obviously not as good as regular composite but just as good as a $300 BBCOR.
Cons: None for a BBCOR
TexasBB
Pros: Nice pop and feels balanced. First time using it for HS tryouts hit the warning track twice.
Cons: grip tape, needed to be replaced right a way.
jesse simpson
Pros: bat has sweet paint job. Sounds weird but still has really good pop for a bbcor.
Cons: grip is really thin but throw some tape on it and its perfect.
Scorpion24
Pros: Great pop, Doesn't lose it. Nice paint job. Good weight distribution as well.
Cons: None
chaz
Pros: sweet paint lot of pop more than i thought great bat

Lan#1
Pros: very amazing thats all I can say.
Cons: grip
frozenropes
Pros: I have the all black limited edition omaha bbcor and it is amazing! This bat is even better the all black one I've hit 2 400 ft homeruns with this bat. It hits great when you hit inside and the ball carries. GREAT BAT
Cons: grip kinda rips easy
mp baseball
Pros: ive always had a omaha and this one has to be my favorite and ive hit with every easton tpx rawlings and demirani and for some reason this omaha just seems to fly farther and faster when it comes off the bat all in all the omaha is an all out workhorse
Cons: im sorry tpx but your grip just doesnt meet the standards so i replaced it with the easton vrs grip thats the only thing i could even think about not liking on this bat
sq7morales
Pros: i love this bat i made 5 home-runs with this bat and my season has just started
Cons: none actually
Anonymous
Pros: I love the weight distribution on this bat and it has amazing "pop".I also cannot believe how inexpensive this bat was compared to others. My first swing on opening day was a homerun to right. This is the second Omaha I have purchased and I have had success with both.
Cons: none
Demps12

Pros: great pop, balanced. first swing I took with it in a game, I hit the ball out
Cons: skinny handle. I prefer it to be a little fatter.
Anonymous
Pros: I bought this for my 18 year old son to replace last years model, which can't be used for high school any longer. He loves it. Balanced well, ball travels well off of it. He's a believer in the TPX and wouldn't use any thing else.
Cons: NONE!
paco
Pros: Very good pop! Sounds really nice and i think it's better than the Z1000!!
Cons: None!!!!
SDlefty
Pros: Balanced. Feels go in my hands. Nice paint job, I like how it looks. Has a nice ping for BBCOR. Hitting the ball hard with it consistantly. Great value from LS!!

Cons:
TheFoshay
Pros: Has a distinct sound and has decent pop
Cons: for me its really top heavy and i seem to dip my back shoulder more with it
Tom from MA
Pros: great bat all around, nice pop and a serious sweet spot
Cons: just the grip but i would have taped it regardless. Tape costs about three bucks
Vikings#25
Pros: Decent price. Hit's okay for the price.
Cons: No sweet spot really. Pay the extra 50 $ for a better bat.
nick
Pros: great all around bat good sound and great pop
Cons: grip is ripping and bat seems a little top heavy compared to demarinis and easton's bats
Pedro Serrano
Pros: Great bat, lots of pop, seemed easy to break in to me, best 150 bucks ive ever spent.
Cons: a lil top heavy but nothing you cant get used to.
Angus
Pros: Awesome bat.Got 30 min before my game (one day shipping free) and had a couple of rips. very large sweet spot. I've tried a LOT of BBCOR bats and this one was the best for performance and price. Paint job is nice but that doesn't really matter to me. It has that high pitched BESER sound being a alloy bat. The grip is great too. Thanks Louisville Slugger and Justbats
Cons: none at all.
mac16
Pros: This bat is the bat I would recomend for anyone to use. I have had a lot of sucess with this bat. Could tell a difference from BESR to BBCOR but not much with this bat just a smaller sweet spot. Also the bat looks sharp!!
Cons: Don't have any really it's an excellent bat.
JAJ
Pros: One piece construction. Has a lot of pop. It's like it's not even BBCOR! Really like it! Awesome paint graphics!
Cons: None
disappointed player
Pros: For about a month and a half the bat was great
Cons: It took me two months to break in and then after another two months it was completely dead
Big K
Pros: Way more pop than the BBCOR 2011 Voodoo that I had, the same drive as Maple with a bigger sweet spot, as good as any BBCOR I've swung
Cons: Its not a BESR.
Emilio24
Pros: Has a lot of pop, sounds like the a traditional BESR bat and amazing paintjob
Cons: Thin grip but replaceable
PudgeJC
Pros: Good pop and graphics. I'm hitting well above .400 so far this season with this bat.

Cons: tape wears out early
Nickname
Pros: Best amount of pop you can get for under $200. The ball jumps off the bat like a USSSA bat.
Cons: It is end heavy but I don't mind it.
levi
Pros: Awesome bat! ordered monday at noon recieved wednesday at noon with 2 day shipping! used bat for practice before tournament tomorrow. balls flew off the bat like you wouldnt believe. first BBCOR bat and i am very impressed. bought for my 12 yr old going into school ball

Cons: Not good graphics stings top heavy get a power brigade or demarini
jags29
Pros: Great pop and love the noise. For school ball, hit four hole the whole season, love the bat.
Cons: Kinda small sweet spot and scratches easily... Thinking about going to the Z-1000 next year.

Anonymous
Pros: Does have great pop once you break it in after a few balls hit. Seems to have a fairly large sweetspot.
Cons: Super end heavy. When I compared this bat to some nicer, little more expensive BBCOR bats, the weight distribution was ridiculously end heavy
svk
Pros: Bought this bat for my H.S. son. He had great year at the plate. Made all conference.
Cons: Maybe a little top heavy.
mountain dew man
Pros: one of the best bats on the market,i hit 9 homeruns out of 12 games, the field was only 295(fall ball) amazing pop would recommend to freshman and sophomores.
Cons: none great bat all around
J#99
Pros: This bat is amazing!! I was hitting with it in my backyard (w/ a fake ball) and the first one I hit went about 275 feet into the woods! Great bat I look forward to using it in my next tournament.
Cons: I did'nt buy it sooner.
jforhan
Pros: Very rugged, strong bat. Great balance!
Cons: Grip can be uncomfortable with long sessions. Too soft.
Backstop38
Pros: The most balanced bat through the years, BBCOR or not. If you can connect with the baseball, Omaha BBCOR has the best BBCOR performance and is a fantastic value compared to bats costing much more.
Cons: None.
Backstop38
Pros: Fantastic Balance. Great Pop. A five star hitting tool for the serious athlete.
Cons: None.
leo D.
Pros: Nice bat. It's worth the price. The first time I used it, I got a solid line drive for a single.
Cons: I was expecing more pop out of it, but it's still good.
nuggetman
Pros: feels like a besr. great great great bat. my whole team ended up using mine and some even got their own.
Cons: none
Ncboy13
Pros: Good, reliable bat, good balance and great pop, not to mention it just looks awesome
Cons: Grip could be better, not great with shock absorption
Ryan Connor
Pros: 1-piece design gives a firm solid feel and compresses the ball for much longer distances than 2-piece or junk composite bats. Hit 11 hr last summer and fall with it. Bought another because it was on sale!
Cons: Loud ping when ya really crush one, need to buy earplugs! LOL.
choloyolohashtagswag
Pros: great pack, all bats were very balanced, great pop. good grip and not end or top heavy good stuff! thanks justbats.com you are the best!!!!!
Cons: none.
frankie P
Pros: Great price, awesome, paint job, great bling when hit.
Cons: Haven't had any yet.
Willy Mays Hays
Pros: Great pop, even on the first day using it. I've loved the bat since day one.
Cons: None, overall great bat.
Amazing
Pros: I used this bat last night and went 4/4 with two doubles, a single, and a triple plus 3 RBIs. This bat has great pop and it almost feels composite. I'm only in 7th grade but I get it around fairly easy. Great choice if you hit in the gaps.
Cons: I would prefer a grip on the end because the end of the bat is hard and it sort of hurt the bottom of my left hand (I'm a switch hitter but I hit right handed all of last night).
jb13
Pros:
Cons: It pings when hit. If you are a power hitter u want a bat to have a more of a crack sound and come off solid.
winner
Pros: Great pop very balanced loved it
Cons: None
Slim
Pros: Bat has a solid feel upon hitting, large sweet spot. 13yr old started babe ruth ball and freshman hi school ball, enjoys using the bat along with numerous other players.

TheMike
Pros: Amazing bat, great pop and amazing sound
Cons: Nothing
jacob #2
Pros: Excellent bat been using it since I came out just when I wanted a new one I got the same one just bigger. I use it almost every game except when I use my DeMarini Voodoo. It has great pop and sound to it, excellent paint job and the ball flies off the bat. It has that awesome ping and just all around awesome bat you should definitely buy it!
Cons: Grip tape was thin however I liked but it you don't it is very cheap to buy a different kind.
Chris's Dad
Pros: Reasonable price for the the capability, but not at same quality level as other TPX (non-BBCOR)models of prior years.
Cons: After just 5 at-bats, the grip is already coming undone. Sound of the batted ball is more of a ringing effect, causing other spectators to question the integrity of the bat's construction.
JoeyGunz
Pros: Well Balanced Nice Sound/Pop
Cons: None
Dom
Pros: -When you hit the ball, it's always a hard hit -Bat looks really cool
Cons: -Very end loaded, and I am a contact hitter and it made it very hard for me to hit the ball because I couldnt get the bat around easily enough. I think this bat would be a great fit for power hitters, but I am not one so I am really not a big fan of the omaha.
Great Bat Bob Saget Fan player
Pros: This bat has a great "ping" sound with every hit. Great pop and an awesome paintjob. This is an overall great bat
Cons: Not crazy about the grip tape
Perfect Kaleb player
Pros: The end is perfectly weighted for a power hitter like my self. When I first started Legion baseball it was a huge transition and thought the bat was the reason I wasn't hitting but after I started hitting again I started using it and I was supprised how the ball just flew off the bat. Nobody uses the bat because i won't let them. Great bat and I think I will stick with Louisville Slugger and occasionaly DeMarini.
Cons: Tape doesn't well and kinda dated for this generation
TPX Omaha 28/10 Tim other
Pros: Bought this bat for my 10 year old grandson as his first big barrel bat and he really likes it. In his second game use he hit for the cycle so what more can we say.
Cons: None at this point

About the Brand
In 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich emigrated with his family from Baden-Baden, Germany to the United States. Eight years before, the 1834 Book of Sports had made its debut as the nation's first publication covering baseball. But when he arrived in Baltimore, J. Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime.
After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were born in the United States and would later join their father in his business. By 1864 "J.F. Hillerich, Job Turning" was in operation and filled orders for businesses by custom-turning everything from balusters to bedposts.
The firm thrived, and by 1875 the little woodworking shop employed about 20 people. In 1880 Bud Hillerich, who was an amateur baseball player, became an apprentice in his father's shop. Young Bud made his own baseball bats along with bats for several of his teammates.
The debate over the origins of the first bat continues to generate controversy among baseball enthusiasts, but the younger Hillerich was most certainly involved in getting his father's business involved with what would become the company's signature item. According to company legend, the first bat was turned by Bud for Pete "The Old Gladiator" Browning in 1884. Browning was a star on Louisville's professional American Association team - the Eclipse. On a spring afternoon Bud, then seventeen, witnessed Browning break his favorite bat. Bud offered to make a bat for his hero, and Browning accepted. After the young wood shop apprentice lathed a quality stick from white ash, according to the story, Browning got three hits with it in the next game.
Louisville Slugger gloves are worn by more pitchers in Major League Baseball than any other glove.
