The Louisville Slugger TPS Catalyst Youth: FP12CY -12.5 Fastpitch bat features a balanced swing weight and is designed for players considered to be contact hitters. The balanced swing weight will allow the player to generate more bat speed than they could with a bat with an end loaded swing weight. At that age, generating bat speed would be the highest priority.
