Pros: great bat just got it from my coach today great pop. feels like a major league bat. great price!
Cons:
Pros: Great bat with a great feel. Large barrel that gives the end-weighted feel I like. And several guys on my 18 and over wood bat league.
Cons: Several guys on my team like my bat and end up using it. I don't even get to warm up with it in the batters box with the guy before and after me using it. It may be the same wood as the pros but it definitely has more grains than their bats. This leads to breaking often. I've gone through four or five of these already. One lasted many games but the rest don't last more than two or three.
Pros: Great bat period
Cons:
Pros: great bat. lot of pop.
Cons: none
Pros: Excellent value. Nice barrell on 243 turn
Cons:
Pros: AAA+++ Supper fantastic bat. You know its a good bat when you dont feel the HR you just hit. Shouldnt break if you know how to hit.
Cons:
Pros: Great bat, slugger has come up with a big barrel that won't snap you in two. I have a 32" and now a 34" they both perform great..
Cons:
Pros: Nice balance and good grain. A quality baseball bat. Speedy shipment.
Cons: None
Pros:
Cons: you have to hit the ball perfectly or it wont go anywhere
Pros: Great solid bat mines has cracks all around and it still hasnt broken and the pop is still great
Cons: none
Pros: Cool
Cons: Beast
Pros: Got this bat as a gift and love it, its more top heavy to get a great pop on the ball, one of the best bats ive ever owned
Cons: I cant complain about this bat
Pros: looks good, feels good, ball sounds good off of it.
Cons: feels like its going to break and it did. I should of just donated 50 bucks to charity instead.
Pros: Great feeling bat.
Cons: I used this bat very few times and it started to splinter. Did not break, but the grains started splitting off.
Pros: awesome
Cons:
Pros: Great Bat! Light Weight. This is a great bat with a thin handle! It's a strong bat also. Highly Reco.
Cons: None
Pros: great pop feels great off the barrel
Cons: i used it one tournament and the bat cracked return policy love justbats
Pros: This is a good bat. It has great pop, feels well balanced and its cheap.
Cons: I bought two of these bats. First day of bp, the first bat shattered in half at the handle about 10-15 pitches in. I did hit it off the cap, but not very hard. The next bat I swung a lot more carefully, however, I still managed to get two cracks running down the side of the bat. All hits were in the sweet spot on this bat. So it may tend to break easily, buy in bulk!
Pros: Good pop, just as good or better then BBCOR.
Cons: It wasn't balanced very well, and top heavy.
Pros: this bat has tons of pop I got a lot of steaming line drives using this bat. its light fairly well balanced very forgiving if you dont hit the sweet spot.
Cons: Make sure you hit properly and it will last.
Pros: good pop
Cons: wood split easily
Pros: Solid cut & finish, very hard bat.
Cons: None.
Pros: this bat hap pretty good pop but the thing that was great was how it had no sting even when I hit off of the handle. It feels pretty light in my hands and I have pretty good bat speed with it. For the price I definitely recommend this bat.
Cons: Not many yet, but I haven't really been using it for that long of a time so I don't know yet.
Pros: Nice bat Solid hitting Excellent price
Cons: None
Pros: Bat has pretty good pop, is very balanced, and is quick through the zone
Cons: This bat will not last very long and will break very easily
Pros: cool bat
Cons: this bat gives some major vibrations unless you hit it on the sweet spot. had to get some Buzz Off for that. This bat chips wayyyyy to easily also. I wouldn't recommend it but is your looking for a cheap bat and no pay off from it this bat is made for you.
Pros: Good feel. Good for batting practice and tee work. Decent ash for the money. It has a slight end load since it is cupped ash (In comparison a non-cupped maple 243 may weigh 2 even 3 ounces more than this bat would and would have much more end load). If you know how to hit with wood, this bat might last a season or two...maybe
Cons: It won't last long in the upper levels of competitive baseball. It is not "pro stock" ash. Premature flaking, uneven spacing between grain lines, grain slope doesn't meet MLB requirements etc, etc. I recommend the Louisville MLB prime series. It will last much longer and is much heavier (meaning its better wood) than Louisville "pro stock".
Pros: This bat is great!! Have nothin bad to say about it. Ive had it for a few weeks now and it has not cracked like the ones before!
Cons:
Pros: nice pop and feels like a big leauger bat expecially with the finish
Cons: bought 3 of these one broke at the 3rd inning of one of my games the other two lasted 3-4 games so im impressed

About the Brand
In 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich emigrated with his family from Baden-Baden, Germany to the United States. Eight years before, the 1834 Book of Sports had made its debut as the nation's first publication covering baseball. But when he arrived in Baltimore, J. Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime.
After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were born in the United States and would later join their father in his business. By 1864 "J.F. Hillerich, Job Turning" was in operation and filled orders for businesses by custom-turning everything from balusters to bedposts.
The firm thrived, and by 1875 the little woodworking shop employed about 20 people. In 1880 Bud Hillerich, who was an amateur baseball player, became an apprentice in his father's shop. Young Bud made his own baseball bats along with bats for several of his teammates.
The debate over the origins of the first bat continues to generate controversy among baseball enthusiasts, but the younger Hillerich was most certainly involved in getting his father's business involved with what would become the company's signature item. According to company legend, the first bat was turned by Bud for Pete "The Old Gladiator" Browning in 1884. Browning was a star on Louisville's professional American Association team - the Eclipse. On a spring afternoon Bud, then seventeen, witnessed Browning break his favorite bat. Bud offered to make a bat for his hero, and Browning accepted. After the young wood shop apprentice lathed a quality stick from white ash, according to the story, Browning got three hits with it in the next game.
Louisville Slugger gloves are worn by more pitchers in Major League Baseball than any other glove.
