Cons:
Bat is ash, so after just a few hundred swings, the bat started to flake... Had to tape it

Need a wooden one handed training bat for 8-9 year olds. They typically use 28/17 composite bats and I need something they can handle well. Any suggestions?

The Louisville Slugger One Hand Trainer: P89B Training Bat would be a little too big for 8 or 9 year old players. A better choice would be the 18" Louisville Slugger One Hand Trainer: TRB18B Training Bat.
