Bat is nicely balanced so my 8 yr old son handles it well. Good pop off the barrel. Great for training and game use. Has not broke a bat in the last 2 years.
Like any other wood bat, its prone to break. If your child is not disciplined at the plate and is used to a metal bat using a wood bat will be an issue at first.
