Pros: Like it so far, nice design,eye-catching and nice sound to it.
Cons: Don't really see the power from the massive sweet spot yet, but maybe weeks of indoor practice haven't allowed us to see it yet.

Pros: We have tried many, many bats the last year or two, and either this bat fits my son just perfectly, or it is a bomb dropper no matter who swings it. He went from hitting it to our driveway on a roll to smashing it over the driveway on the fly the first time he swung it. Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!
Cons: Really?

Pros: Bought the 2012 XL3. My 8 year old hit his first over the fence HR in less than a week. Durable survived 1/2 a season and all winter in the cages. Just ordered 2013 1" longer.
Cons: Doesn't hold up well, if it's ran over by a car.

Pros: My friend has one. Ever sense he got it he never gets out. He never hits it in the infield. He always hit it into the outfield and that's why he's third batter.
Cons: Nothing.

1bigkid
Pros: Moved my son up from a 29" XL1 to this in 30" mainly because of price. My son is hitting bombs in the outfield with it. If he's not getting the hit of the game then another kid using this bat is.
Cons: Some stings and I question the pop compaired to a composite barrel. Very stiff bat tends to make my son hit opposite field often or just be slower in his swing compared to his older XL1. Think I'll spend the money and get a 2-piece next time.
KH911
Pros: This bat has great pop! My 10 year old hit a shot over center field fence. The ball goes much farther than with his old bat. So far no complaints about hand pain when hitting. This bat was worth buying.
Cons: Haven't seen any yet.
camdin
Pros: This Easton is the best Easton I have ever used and I have used every Easton series they have made. My friend has the Easton S2 and it doesn't have as much pop as the XL3. I hit a triple and a home run over the fence my first two at bats.

Pros: This bat has a lot of pop. You can stick the bat out and hit a home run. Extremely powerful and lightweight bat. Best bat I have ever had and I have owned 3 bats every year.
Cons: The only con I have is that it is too good.
line drive hitter
Pros: its balanced and light
Cons: made me lose my power. I then got the easton xl1 and it completely beats this bat. to me, this bat seems to have very minimal pop
TLbender
Pros: some pop.
Cons: bat is not endloaded at all, dented in less than a month, and good hits up the middle turn into ground outs to the pitcher.
Hr.
Pros: This bat has loads of pop and the first time I used it had 3Hr. One over 230 feet. I also hit 15 of the top of the fence!!
Cons: NONE at All
mr. homerun hitter
Pros: light, easy to swing.
Cons: it does not have much pop at all. i got this one, after a while i sold this then got an xl1 and the xl1 is absolutely AMAZING. NO BETTER BAT THE THE XL1!!!!!!!!
JOJO BEAR
Pros: AWESOME BAT!! The pop is really good and the barrel is extra long.
Cons: none
Bomber
Pros: So hot!
Cons:
Still great 1bigkid coach
Pros: I did a review on this bat several months back. I had said I question the one-piece design but my son gravitates towards this bat. He has an XL1 and has been using this bat for batting practice at the cages and when I pitch to him. He seems to barrel the ball better with his XL3. With months and months of abuse there are no dents, dings or loose parts and the ball still flies off it.
Cons: Paint chipping at the handle knob and some scratches with months of wear and tear.
Great Bat Mike parent
Pros: Pop right out of the package. Got the bat in 3 days with regular shipping. My son started crushing the ball with me throwing to him. My son will be hitting solid in fall ball thanks to this bat. Nice job Easton.
Cons: None from this bat or this company.
Awesome bat Anonymous other
Pros: I have had an excellent baseball season with this bat I didn't hit any homers, but when I got a hold of the ball it went to the fence almost every time! Amazing grip too. Love the sound when you hit the ball.
Cons: This bat stings when you hit it off the handel or the tip, but otherwise great bat.
easton xl3 steve lavoie parent
Pros: tons of pop. my son is hitting the ball further and consistantly more solid than before.
Cons: none yet great bat
Wow!! What a bat!! The smile on my son's face... Ron R. parent
Pros: The ball jumps off this bat. The sweet spot on this bat is longer. The barrel is longer. Has a good, even feel to it. The smile on my son's face. Cheaper than the Easton Mako. The first time my son used his new XL3 bat was a scrimmage game. The first ball he hit screamed over the left fielders head for a triple. Smile from ear to ear as he scored, when the ball got past the third baseman... Priceless!!
Cons: Have not found one yet.
Very good bat Zane player
Pros: Very good bat hot right out of the box ,lots of pop and good fell
Cons: Nothing at all

Pros: my friend knocked 2 over the fence and hes in minor 10. he has only had the bat for a week
Cons: i love this bat
This bat is sooo worth the money! Kortex parent
Pros: Amazing pop, such a great sound when hit well. My son is 8yrs old now and until we bought this bat, had just been using whatever was cheapest at the local sporting goods store. I guess it hasn't really mattered until now, but now the kids are really starting to play real baseball. My son got this bat and is now the best batter on his team. Last game he had 2 home runs! And I feel like he is just getting used to the bat. If you think about how many hours you spend with your son practicing baseball, taking him to games, etc., splurging on a nice bat is well worth it in my opinion. And this is the bat you want to get. All the kids playing the Little League World Series use this bat. A little heavier than the XL1, but I think the more mass results in farther hits. My 8yr old got the 28" 17oz XL3 on sale for last years model. If you want to step up your son's hitting, get this bat, well worth the money. You will have a good time at his games for sure :)
Cons: None that I can think of. Sometimes he gets a stinger, but I don't think any bat is completely immune to that.
good bat!!!!! liam player
Pros: I had opening day today and we had a double header and both of the games combinded I went 3 and 5, 1 triple and 2 singles and we won both of the games.
Cons: it has nothing bad, buy the bat.
awesome bat!!!!!!! lee parent
Pros: great pop my son loves this bat. He can swing the bat faster and the ball will go a lot more farther.
Cons: there is nothing bad about this bat.
...Little League Coach... Mteer coach
Pros: I bought this bat for my grandson who is 12...He had been using the Easton Surge (excellent bat) for two years but I felt it was losing it's pop. So I bought this bat for a replacement. I wanted to get him the Easton XL1, but he chose the XL3 for the extra weight. He has only used this bat in two games thus far, but I have not seen the pop in it that he with the Surge.
Cons: ...This bat gives that awful 'ping' sound. To me it sounds like the original aluminum bats of the 70's.
Smoke n Hot JB coach
Pros: This bat has awesome pop, great balance and feel with no vibration. The ball just jumps off this bat like a trampoline.
Cons: Absolutely none.
This bat dents alot Camden and Andrew player
Pros: I hit alot of homeruns with this bat.
Cons: But this bat dents to the point when the umpire says you can't use it anymore. I had to send three different bats because they all dented.

Cons: just buy it
Very Good Bat TheSultan player
Pros: Awesome pop, good price, perfect for the younger player
Cons: On the third day of batting practice the end cap of mine popped off. Making it annoying because before every practice/game i would have to glue it back on
Great bat !!!!!!! Frank Aranda parent

My son turns 11 in mid-May. He is 78 lbs. He is using a 2 5/8" SL13S310 29/19 for travel ball. Most of his hits favor the middle of the field to right center. He needs a 2 1/4" bat for town ball. Which is a better choice between the YB13X3 30/19 or YB13S3 30/17? I was favoring the 30" bat and trying to keep the weight the same as the travel ball bat, knowing he could use the 2 1/4" bat next town ball season. I prefer the alloy bat but would entertain the composite, if it is a better choice. dean

My boy swings a big barrel (Worth 29" 19 oz). He only weighs 70 lbs. He plays travel ball and drives the ball very well with this bat size. He will be playing Little League along with travel this year and needs a good 2 1/4 bat. I am not really worried about bat speed because he has a really quick bat with the above bat.
