Pros: Huge sweet spot. My son loves this bat. He was using B4 but hasn't touched it since this bat arrived.
Cons:
SSTARS
Pros: I purchased a 31" XL1 for my son and the barrel of this bat is as big as the barrel on my daughters 31" softball bat. My son is hitting the cover off the ball with the XL1 and has newly found power to the opposite field. I was never a big believer in bat technology making a huge difference, but there is no doubt in my mind that this bat is making a difference.
Cons:
Elk Grove McClatchy Lion
Pros: Purchased a 31" for my son. It has incredible pop out of the wrapper. The ball pierces through the air when hit on the sweet spot. Also, the low gloss silver looks great. By far better than all previous combats and mikens I've purchased. This bat exceeded my expectations,a rare occurrence.
Cons: Not really a negative, but the 31" XL1 might be a little heavy for smaller players. My son is 5'1" at 10 years old and swings it great.
Dave OB
Pros: The 1st time I swung this bat I was hooked, line and sinker.... My son LOVES IT! BEST BAT EVER!
Cons: The speed series has a better balence because the extra 2 oz's are placed at the end but the extra power more then makes up for that! So really NO CONS!
ryan
Pros: got this bat for christmas, great very good, great pop little to no vibration great bat
Cons: long break in time
Coach Rob
Pros: Huge sweet spot. -That says it all!
Cons: if there was a -12 with same size sweet spot it would be the ultimate LL bat!
hugh
Pros: great power and pop easy to break in all around great bat
Cons:
mo
Pros: awesome look good wieght and power
Cons: none:)
Kelly808
Pros: Very long barrel! Amazing pop off the bat. End loaded so bat feels an ounce or two heavier than the given weight. Can't wait to see my son kill some balls this coming season!
Cons: none so far
Christian
Pros: It's a heavy bat, but if your son could swing the -10 Omen, he'll be able to swing this one as well. Great sound on contact. Kids love the graphics.
Cons:
Vortex 21
Pros: As my friends would say beastly this bat is beast 4 home runs in first four swings over 245

GRIFF #44 SO CAL BEARCATS
Pros: AWESOME BAT WITH GREAT POP RIGHT OUT OF THE WRAPPER. THE FIRST PRACTICE MY SON HAD A CHECK SWING HOME RUN THEN FOLLOWED UP WITH 3 MORE. NOW LET'S SEE IF HE CAN DO IT IN A GAME!!!
Cons: NONE
spencer
Pros: good , solid bat the more you hit with it the better it gets since the composite needs to break in all in all its a good bat it has usssa stamp and is approved for other leagues such as cal ripken little league and pony
Cons: not any but once again it needs to break in
froe
Pros: Ive got all bats within 2 years old 3 combats and 2 eastons by far best bat ive ever bought out of gate
Cons:
DR
Pros: Bat is heavy for youth players under 10 years old.
Cons:
will
Pros: this bat has great pop and a massive sweet spot. Its easy to swing and the grip of the bat is awesome.
Cons: there is some sting but if you get batting gloves, it's fine
BIG POPPIE
Pros: used this bat four practices hit eighteen homeruns great pop right from the start best bat we have used easton definately has a new customer
Cons: none
Hook
Pros: I played pro minor league baseball for a few years and have coached little league for over 15 years now. I purchased this bat for my 12 year old son. The bat is weighted very nicely and has a tacky grip. My son likes the feel of the bat.
Cons: The end cap loosened on the first day we used the bat. My son uses a wooden bat during our fall season. He hits the ball further with the wood bat than this bat. There is very little noticeable difference in the amount of pop and distance this bat is supposed to provide. We chose this bat over the CF5 based on the reviews of this bat. We tried a CF5 the other day and it blows this bat out of the water. The CF5 has tons of pop compared to the Easton XL1. Maybe we received a bad bat. At this point I would recommend the CF5.
JayBeck21
Pros: Unbelieveaable Pop. Got this bat for my 10 year old son for his birthday. Season just started and he has hit rockets so far. Now the entire team is using this bat. Very well balanced.
Cons:
JoeyBats
Pros: Great for hitting the bal in the air. In my first game, I hid a home run and had three doubles. Currently, I am leading the league in everything and havent't gotten outin 7 straight games(I'm still in Little League) but this bat is plain BEAST
Cons: None, ecspesialy after you break it in.
Roughneck
Pros: bought the 29/19 for my son and he loves it. The ball comes off of it very solid. The sound is like what a composite bat sounds like. He hits them in the outfield a lot with this bat.
Cons: none to date.
ThebombTravis
Pros: Against my better judgement of paying so much for a baseball bat I purchased the Easton XL1, I must say it was not a mistake !! at my sons first practice he hit 2 over the fence and 2 hit the fence in the air , at his second team practice he hit 4 over the fence ! this bat makes the ball really travel without alot of effort , as his Dad I'm very impressed with his performance with this new bat . I don't regret pay the price it's worth every penny just seeing the look on my sons face when that ball goes over the fence !
Cons: None in my opinion
Mau Mau
Pros: Great bat! Great sweet spot... My son hit his first Bomb to right field using the XL1....30-20oz.. maybe a little heavier for his size. The pitching he is facing in the LL Major division as a 10U player, he is sure holding his own. Many travel players on his team are using the bat and all of them love it. Thank's Easton
Cons:
cdog
Pros: I had just bought this bat, and went into my backyard and started hittin baseballs with the plastic wrapper on the bat, with the unbeliveable pop this bat has, the plastic wrapper was torn up within minutes, im a small kid and i shouldn't be swinging a bat this end-heavy for my size[4ft nine and 75 lbs] but the pop out of this bat completely makes up for it, if you or your son is a larger child with more power, they will be pounding the ball, trust me.
Cons: Such a long barrel its going to be hard to lay off way outside pitches, longer than combats, i measured!
Akadema3
Pros: Good feel and hitting , big sweet spot I'm probably more of a contact hitter but this bat is great
Cons: No problems but it needs to be broken in since it's composite
JF
Pros: This bat looks great and has incredible pop, with huge sweet spot. It"S a little heavy
Cons: it"s a heavy bat
kono
Pros: Excellent bat with a lot of pop. If you can handle the weight you will not be dissapointed.
Cons: I would not recommend this bat to a smaller/weaker player becuase the bat is heavy.
The bat doc.
Pros: My son has always swung a Combat, he's 10 years old. we wanted to try sumthing different this year and went with the Easton XL1 32 22, the bat came in yesterday and we went straight to the cages< man was i surprise, it was hot out of the plastic. Great bat!!!! dnt see myself going back.
Cons: LOL what cons!!!!!!!!!
YANKEES13428
Pros: FEELS VERY GOOD WHEN HOLDING IT. HAS A LOT OF POP. LOOKS COOL. HEAVY JUST THE WAY I LIKE IT.
Cons: CHIPS EASILY. NONE
Kai
Pros: My son loves the bat and he is crushing the ball. He has 3 HR's in 2 games. This bat had instant pop. Everyone on the team is using the 31 or 32.
Cons: everyone wants to borrow the bat!
bigbird
Pros: Son hit 0 home runs with his Easton Omen 29-19 last season; stepped up to the XL 31-21 and he's got 2 this season and hitting really well. He's bigger but the bat is great!
Cons: Someone stole it.
5464
Pros: really good pop i am hitting the ball like never before i have hit 4 homeruns already and the season has just started....has really good grip and is a 2 piece fully composite bat
Cons: really no cons but the sticker on the top fell off of mine the 1st day i got it
roadster
Pros:
Cons: terrible bat one of the worst. in my opinion worse than easton reflex. has no pop and barrel very small. whoever is reading this should x out page. horrible bat!
ksduckfan
Pros: Great Bat. Definitely hitting the ball harder and longer. The sound the bat and ball makes on contact has everyone excited. Sounds like a wood bat.
Cons: Takes some getting used to. I didn't realize it wasn't a "large" barrel youth bat like everyone else on the team has.
Jackson
Pros: Recently purchased a 31" XL1 for my 12 year old son. When I presented it to him, he was going into the cage prior to his second game of the season. He came out saying "This bat is popping dad!". During the game that followed he batted 4 for 4, a double short of the cycle, going yard on his 4th attempt. The triple was smacked solidly into the left field corner. The bat rocks & has a tremendous sweet spot!
Cons:
ryan
Pros: tons and tons of pop no joke, you have to give this bat the neccesary break in time, that is why there is no pop, people you bought a composite bat you have to break it in.
Cons: paint chips just a little
tony
Pros: great bat
Cons: zero
Mike
Pros: Nice Looking, good grip...meets little league requirements.
Cons: Not sure if it needs some break-in time, but doesn't seem to have the "pop" i thought it would yet.
dylan fields
Pros: hits great 1st week i had it hit one out,now my friends want to use it.
Cons: none, but a little heavy for small players
The boss
Pros: Amazing bat!i love it I hit my farthest homerun ever with the xl1.it was around 300 feet and I'm 11.i hit the ball so hard with this bat. I love it. I would highly recommend this bat.

Pros: Love it
Cons: None
animal
Pros: Awsome bat. Purchased for my 9yr old. Hes a big kid for 9yrs old. Most bats are to light for his fast swing. Thought id give the xL 1 a try. I got the 21 oz 31 inch. great pop to start with .But has really come around as the games go on. last week he hit 3 triples,in which 2 hit the 210ft fence, Next game he cleared the fence. What a shot. If your youngster is strong enough to swing this bat. Sit back and watch him trot the bases. This bat will give him the ride of his life.
Cons: Heavy ended. Better be quik to the ball,or the long ball will turn into a strike out.
Anonymous
Pros: Great pop! First BP session I hit a bomb over the scoreboard. AMAZING.
Cons: A little more expensive than some of the other youth bats
The Spot Hitter
Pros: was hitting at practice with my friends xl1 and hitt a home run line drive that didnt get 10 feet off the ground
Cons: mine hasnt come in yet
Kris10
Pros: I bought the 30in, 20oz bat for my 10 year old son a few weeks ago. I was a bit worried about the weight, but this past weekend he hit one out of the park for the first time!! He's an advanced hitter so this bat works well for him. If your child has some upper body strength, then he should be fine swinging this bat. Huge sweet spot due to the extra long barrel. Didn't really break it in much before he hit his homer. I can imagine the distance he's going to get once it's broken in!
Cons: A bit heavy for smaller kids. I suggest before buying, have your child hold & swing it a few times at the store. He may have a hard time getting the bat around quickly if he's not used to it. Other than that, no cons!
Kris10
Pros: I wrote a review a little while ago regarding my son's out of the park homerun using this bat. I forgot to mention that since using this bat, his line drives are unbelievable. The coaches on the opposite teams are calling him "dangerous" at the plate. They have to shuffle the kids around in the infield so they don't get hit by one of his FAST line drives to the outfield. This bat is insane! All the kids in Little League talk about this bat & want to use it
Cons:
rothe
Pros: beast
Cons:
unauthorized
Pros: great bat. i have a -10 and another kid on my team has a -12. i hit 4 homeruns already and hes hit 2 with his bat.
Cons: none.
kevin
Pros: this is exelent for power . ive seen more than one person bomb it out of the park with that bat
Cons:
redmen10
Pros: lots of pop no sting on my first at bat i hit a triple of the fence very good bat get it!
Cons: not much of a con has no affect on performance but yellow E sticker on the end cap flies of but not the whole end cap
C man
Pros: Bat has great pop and jamming yourself or hitting it on the end does not hurt. This bat is the best on the market
Cons: None
Nab

bergs
Pros: I used this bat for the first time in a game a few days ago and i hit two rockets with it
Cons:
little
Pros: big sweet spot
Cons: exspensive
fairfield firestorm 6
Pros: Great bat for little league and has amazing pop. The first day that i got it, i used it and i went 3-3 with 2 doubles and a triple. I highly recommend this bat.
Cons: The bat is -10 so if below ten years old, i wouldn't use a 30/20 or higher, because its a little heavier.
Big-D
Pros: In my first game with the XL1 I hit a shot to right center best bat ever it was a 2-run homerun.
Cons: ITS PERFECT!
Kris10
Pros: I posted a few weeks ago when we got this bat for my son. I wanted to come back to praise it more!! Very powerful bat! My son's teammates call it "the beast!" My 10 year old son has hit 2 out of the park homeruns with this bat. That is a record for our town of Gloucester MA. No 10 yr old has ever done that!!! This bat is VERY powerful. I reccomend it for advanced hitters!!
Cons: A bit heavy since it's end weighted. But if your child is advanced & has upper body strength, he should be fine
Awesome
Pros: I cant even stress how good this bat is. In this season ive played 8 games and hit 9 homeruns over the fence with this bat. You should defiantly buy it
Cons: NONE!
Tony
Pros: Awesome bat, great pop. Son went 196ft for game and league winning hit after just a few uses!! Definitely recommend!
Cons: none
BigBerger
Pros: Definitely a great bat but I believe the Omen is a slightly better bat.
Cons: Would be nice as a drop 11
hittin' bombs
Pros: My friend got a 31 inch 21 ounce bat for District All-Stars and he is hittin' bombs. He is only 10 and around 4'5 and his power is tremendous. The pop is insane and is is almost imposible to hit ball on the handle of the bat. Great bat overall.
Cons: I love Easton bats because of their light weight but on this bat could of been a drop 10 at least. Keep up the good wok Easton!
$$$$$
Pros: i hit a grand slam with this bat! it was my team mates bat.it is AMAZING!
Cons: the bad thing about this bat is that its $229.99 because my dads never gonna get me this bat i have to stick with walmart bats
Al stars
Pros: amazing hit every pitch over.barrel is bigger than Handel. Durable. Best bat ever made.
Cons: it's too good.
Logan
Pros: Awsome bat once you break it in. I am 70lbs playing in Little League Majors an crushed a 200 ft Homerun with the XL1.
Cons: End cap was loose on the first 2 bats.
Bomber
Pros: great bat. Pop right out of the wrapper. Hit bombs with it the first day and ball.
Cons: none so far!
Anonymous
Pros: this bat is awesome i ht my first home run with it. longer barrel than cf5 my favorite Easton
Cons: this bat is to good for little league
AJ
Pros: The barrel of the bat is really big and it has great pop. When I started using this bat I was driving the ball like crazy. I was hitting a bunch of doubles and got my first home run.
Cons: none
Anonymous
Pros: I have never seen a baseball bat perform like this one. My 11 year old son is 5' and weighs right at 100 lbs. and is hitting well over 200 ft. with this bat to any side of the field. It will make a hitter into a monster at the plate.
Cons: break in time.
TORCH
Pros: It's a great bat and well built, comes with a lot of pop.
Cons: The first one we purchased was used for one game and something broke off inside which caused a rattle. But, I returned it and just bats sent a new one out at no cost.
bat expert
Pros: amazing pop! sends the ball at least an extra 15 feet farther than your normal bat does
Cons:
jaba61
Pros: Once broken in (about 3 weeks of good hitting) this bat pops!!! My son has hit 7 HR's in the last week after only having warning track power. his first was a Grand Slam in an all-star game!
Cons: End cap is loose.
thenextbambino
Pros: i got one of these bats and i hit a ball that probably went 400 feet and I'm only 11. it's not like I wasn't hitting balls 380 feet before i got the bat but that extra 20 feet adds a little courtesy onto my homers
Cons: if this was a big barrel it probably would've gone 450 feet
bigbanger
Pros: bigbanger in the building. this bat is what we call SWEET. i've had over 200 at bats in my life and i have never not hit a homer
Cons: nothing, especially because i aint need big barrel
poptart
Pros: Best bat ever in the past 2 weeks i have hit 7 homers in practice and my first homer(grandslam) in 11yr old allstars
Cons: nothing at all
Anonymous
Pros: i really like the large barrel so you can jam yourself and still drive the ball when smaller barreled bats you just hit a little grounder.
Cons: the only bad thing is composite takes a while to brake in.
DYLAN
Pros: HAS GREAT POP AND IS A GOOD LITTLE LEAGUE BAT
Cons: CAP OF BAT WILL FALL OFF ALL TO EASY
mike
Pros: The bat had good pop and my son was hitting the ball harder and further the first day it was used.
Cons: The bat broke after 2 days - it had a loud swirling rattle inside the bat. I bought the bat for my son to use in the District Championship game, but he was unable to use it because the umpires would not accept it. Don't waste your money or time on this bat.
kridda
Pros: Tons of pop. Friends love it and is easy to break in. the bat is very end-loaded so make contact and the ball will fly.
Cons: I am in a bating slum, having trouble making solid contact
ryno19
Pros: great bat lots of pop. 9u travel player hit 2 homeruns with this bat last week in tournament. over the fence
Cons: a little end heavy for smaller players.
baseball experts33
Pros: awesome best bat yet.
Cons:
XL1
Pros: Good bat with some great pop.
Cons: Bought one and it cracked in 2 weeks. Then was told they have no more in stock and are back ordered....
Beast
Pros: Best bat I have evr had I love I've been hitting rockets with it evr since I got it! I had an omen and I cracked it so we got this and it's awesome.ive had more of every stat than I had last year with this bat. I would recommend this bat to people who want to hit bombs!
Cons: I still love this bat but Its not the most durable. We had to return it and get a new one twice this year because I've cracked it twice. But I would still recommend it cause it has tons of pop.
gmoney
Pros: This is the best bat I have ever swung. The pop is outstanding. Out of my three homers I hit, two came from this bat.
Cons: none
Connor
Pros: I got a 32" bat for my son and the first day we used it he hit one 240 feet. It has tremendous pop.
Cons: It is a little heavy for smaller kids but my son is 5' 2" at 11 years old and he swings it great.
wild thing
Pros: Awesome ball flies
Cons: The paint comes off easily
Legend525
Pros: Great Bat..My son is hitting the ball like a pro...He had an Easton Omen and that bat eventually went dead, but the way the ball flies off of this bat is UNREAL..In my son's first AB with his new team, he almost went yard, just short of the fence..What a way to impress your new coaches and teammates !!!
Cons: NONE,except all of his teammates wanting to use it !!!
Boogie
Pros: Super pop, screaming drives...adds much distance to outfield hits.
Cons: Price

Pros: Excellent bat for the deep ball. My son turned 9 in April and we just got him the XL1. He has hit 5 homers in BP so far. Starts Little League (Majors)in April. He can't wait!!
Cons: None
g-money
Pros: Tons of pop. It has the same pop, maybe even better then the Combat B1. Just outstanding. It can turn an average hitter into a home run hitter/line drive hitter.
Cons: It now has a huge crack when we only used it for 3 months. It was just starting to get tons of pop!
Anonymous
Pros: Excellent bat. No sting or vibration. Much better than any combat. Can't beat the price!
Cons: None
Jesus Saves
Pros: Very good bat, money well spent with no regrets! Has a nice sound to it... go with this bat your kid will love it.
Cons:
Ruffcutt
Pros: Easton still continues to make the hotest bats on the market. My boys love this bat just as much as there old easton, you cant go wrong with this bat , alot of pop and dont vibrate your hands to death like the one piece composite bats.
Cons:
NoNo
Pros: Great bat!!! End loaded but not as much as the silver cf4. My son was never really able to swing the cf4 consistently. With this XL1 he barrels up the ball consistently. Have not seen a better Little League bat!!! We will see how much hotter this bat gets as it breaks in. It has the barrel of a softball bat, the sweet spot is huge!!!
Cons:
Dany Boy
Pros: Excellent bat. It is the best.
Cons:
Yville NC, Braves C-Pitch
Pros: 29" 19oz -10 bat. Tested by my 7 year (+3 months) old son @ 51 inches 66 lbs. Great bat for the money @ discounted price. Nice performance right out of the box w/limited break-in time needed. Better distance than the DeMarini CF-5. Limited sting on bad hits.
Cons: Compared XL1 with Easton S-1, DeMarini CF-4, CF-5, Voodoo SC4 Alloy. Will only benefit the stronger hitters. Recommend the Easton S-1 for younger players / first time players. Must generate good bat speed to get maximum distance from the bat. DeMarini Cf-4 still the best overall bat of the group tested.
Ozzy M.
Pros: Great bat for my 10 yo son. Hot out of the wrapper. He just used it in his first game and almost parked his first out of the park homer on a ball that he did not hit flush. He loves the way the bat feels and it has a massive sweet spot. Better pop than the Omen! Great price at 119.00. Arrived in 4 days!
Cons: None yet. Love it so far!!
JasonC
Pros: Barrel, pop, grip, great pricing!

faisdabest
Pros: This bat is amazing! It does not sting and has great pop right out of the wrapper! This bat was really the key to my success this season. If you really want to crank the ball and hit some homeruns get the xl1.
Cons: Shouldn't even have this column for the xl1!

Pros: Los niños estan bateando cada dia mejor, le pegada es mas fuerte, siempre y cuando se haga la tecnica de bateo correctamente. Se recomienda.
Cons:
1bigkid
Pros: Got this bat for my 9 and 10 yr old several months back and the ball really comes off this bat hotter then the cheap bats I had. I got the grapefruit size bruise to prove it too.
Cons: It's a heavy youth bat.
Da6js
Pros: Great bat my son really it. His hitting has increased a whole lot and he hits farther.normally they say it's the batter not the bat but I think he improved a lot.the bat is already broke in and for the price it's a good deal.
Cons: None at the moment.....
djachimski
Pros: Got the 31" XL1 and hit bombs. Has Insane pop. The sweet spot is unreal. I love the grip. I can't say enough about this bat!
Cons: None.
LuvTheGame
Pros: Bat has a lot of pop! Feels a little heavier due to the end load! My son is small for his age and is enjoying the extra distance he is getting!
Cons: Nothing major! After 50-60 swings the glue from end cap came off inside bat. (Rattle!) It happens! Just bats was great they offered a exchange since it happened so quick! Great customer service guys!
JD
Pros: The ball seems shot out of cannon when its squared up. Vibration is dampened even if hit at the end of the barrel.
Cons: Bat broke (inside composite) after 200 balls. Easton replaced it with this years model (the yellow and black 2013). No complaints son seems to like it very much.
Derek T
Pros: Perfect fit and weight. My son loves this bat. Delivery was quick.
Cons:
BB
Pros: Beastly bat.

Pros: The best bat you can get with the biggest pop. The first time I ever used this bat the first ball pitched to me went yard. By far the best bat I've ever used and I have the mako sitting in my bat bag.
Cons: A little heavy at the end, wouldn't recommend using it against a fast pitcher.

We are looking for something to improve his hitting a little more. They are not allowed to use big barrel bats in regular season baseball. They only can in All Stars. What do you recommend for him? jamie32

My son is 7yrs old. 58 lbs. He is doing his second season of little league IMP baseball. He has a good swing and gets pretty good contact but not getting a lot of pop with the aluminum bats he is using. 28 inches and 15oz. Thinking of going down the composite bat option. He has complained about his hands stinging with the other bats. Is there a certain bat drop or bat type that would help eliminate the sting and get a better pop when hitting? Mr Awesome
My 10 year old son is 85 lbs and 49". He has been using a Demarini Raven 29" 18 oz. bat and loved it but it was given to him by a friend and we are ready to upgrade. He is a pull hitter but strong and usually pulls at least a double if not triple. Would this be a good bat or is the Demarini CF5 a better match? Brenda
