Pros:  Hottest bat i've EVER used out of the wrapper. First at bat 300ft plus in a cross wind approx 10mph(i honestly mean first at bat, no warm up swings). Fifth and Sixth at bat 2 more 300 ft plus bombs with wet, semi-soggy balls. Undoubtedly a bargain for $240, you won't go wrong.I chose a 26oz, maybe should have went with the 27oz.

Cons:  Maybe the color? Who really cares with this kind of performance. Some cats were making fun of the orange and white

Pros:  My friend had a salvo first time i swang it hit one out... second time hit one out... bought one of my own and only one since then... it feels great in your hands but i think it needs a break in period

Cons:  to long to break in

Pros:  We used this bat as a replacement for the Freak 98 which finally gave out on us. Only thing to say is my whole team digs this bat. Great feel, great pop and great all around bat by Easton. I have some MONSTER HR's come off this bat. Well worth the $199

Cons:  NONE so far except ours broke in the first 4 weeks but every single player was using it

What would be a comparable bat to the Easton Salvo 34 inch 30 oz softball bat? I love it, but my bat just broke.

The 2015 Miken DC-41 SuperMax (BTGDCU) will be very similar. This model will be a two-piece composite, and will also incorporate a slight end-load design as well. It will be very durable and high performing. Therefore, I would recommend taking a closer look at it.

Hi. Does this bat come in a 28 ounce, and will you be getting it soon?

The Easton Salvo is discontinued and we will not be getting more stock. The 2013 Easton Salvo Comp 98: SP12SV98 Slow Pitch replaced the Easton Salvo and is available in a 34" 28 oz.

Does it say "NSA 2012" on the bat? Colorado senior league requires it.

No, the Easton Salvo does not say "NSA 2012" on the barrel of the bat.

Customer Testimonial

To the staff at Justbats, just wanted to drop a note in appreciation for the extra effort you gave me when I was looking for the Miken Freak in 31", 28 oz for my son. I received the bat on Friday and my son has used it several times already, it has a great sound, good pop and a balanced feel. We may have sold a couple for you. We would be hard pressed to purchase a bat from anyone else with the customer service you gave us. You not only got us the bat, you also got it to us a week earlier than you told us. Thanks again.
