Pros: wow .great pop out of wrapper for 200 bucks
Cons: white tape
Pros: This bat is by far best bat ever used! I was hitting bombs right out of the wrapper! After about 100 swings, It opened up real good! Got to get one if you can!
Cons: Don't care for the white tape!
Pros: Nice balance, good grip.
Cons:
Pros: best bat i have ever swung!!!! Cant beat it $200 cant go wrong
Cons: white tape...worried how long it will last
Pros: This bat was hot out of the wrapper. I love it. I cant wait to get it even more broke in.
Cons: Nothing
Pros: Just purchased the salvo.Played twice since received. Can't keep team mates hands off of it. Performance good and gettintg better with every hit. Still cold in MD. Can't wait for 70+ degree weather.I pitty 3rd base and pitchers. They better start wearing armor.I was a double wall fenatic, but it looks like I could be won over to the composite side.
Cons: better wear batting gloves or suffer blisters from the grip tape.
Pros: I cant believe how hot this bat is out of the wrapper. this bat feels like it has 100 swings on it already.
Cons: none
Pros: Ball really pops off of this bat. Bought this bat because my team was having offense issues. Now we don't.
Cons: Nope.
Pros: I just got it and used it for the first time a lot of pop real hot bat for the money could not keep team away from it best bat ive owned
Cons: white tape getts dirty realy fast
Pros: I almost hate to make a positive review... it will only make these sell out faster. Mine is hot out of the wrapper. The Salvo has a great feel and balance. I love the pop sound when you connect. Nice distance. Low low vibration. Cant go wrong if you buy it imo.
Cons: Sure to sell out fast when the word gets out more that these are hot/
Pros: Really like this bat. Fine performance out of the wrapper and the swing and feel are perfect for my type of swing.
Cons:
Pros: Great feel. Good cushion hand grip. Really good 'pop' off the bat on the sweet spot. Many guys on the team tried it and have switched to using it over their own bats!
Cons: The painted logo seems pretty thick and is easily scratched as the bat hits the ground. The price ($200.00)also seems a bit high, but I guess that's just the going rate for a good bat.
Pros: The best bat I ever used! I normally have warning track power but now I can hit bombs. I hit one about 350'. This bat is great out of the wrapper and is becoming a team bat.
Cons: Just the person using it sometimes.
Pros: This bat feels nicely weighted, and right out of the wrapper balls hit off the sweet spot jump.
Cons: So far (2 weeks) balls that are slightly mis-hit, where I don't quite catch the sweet spot, go nowhere and those hits sting a little. Hopefully as the bat gets broken in those slight mis-hits will become a little better.
Pros: Hot bat out the wrapper. You can just tell by the sound of the bat when making contact. I've taken it out a couple times for BP so far and it hasn't disappointed me at all. Great value for the price!!
Cons: Not much...just not a big fan of the white grip.
Pros: This bat is one of the best bats ever. it drills the ball right out of the wrapper, the detail is awesome. Highly recomended
Cons:
Pros: very comfortable bat .it feels great on contact.the grip is great but was filthy as soon as it came out of box I have not had it rolled yet but it wasn't bad out of wrapper, but much better after only one game. The girls were ripping base hits where it would have been ground outs before.Cant wait for it to open up.Arrived on west coast ahead of schedule with free shipping!!!!
Cons: don't think the paint will last long and you may need to hide from teammates
Pros: Good pop out of the wrapper Evenly balanced Great value at this price range
Cons: Some may not like the white tape but it doesn't bother me
Pros: Great pop right out of the wrapper. First ball hit was a mishit and still went for a homerun. The sign of a special bat. I'm excited for this bat to open up. I saw some people dont like the white grip as it might get dirty pretty easy. I retape my bats so that wasnt a negative for me.
Cons: That they are starting to get hard to find with such a great price tag
Pros: great bat. hot out of the wrapper. have 10 of the 12 batters on my team using it everytime up to bat.
Cons: had to change the white grip.
Pros: this bat feels great on contact grip is nice and balance is amazing .have not had bat rolled yet but it shows some promise out of wrapper.very noticeable difference for the smaller and inexperienced hitters on team.Hope you like to share
Cons: white grip was filthy with in seconds of coming out of box but playing ball is about gettin dirty so it may be a good oman!!!
Pros: Hottest bat i've EVER used out of the wrapper. First at bat 300ft plus in a cross wind approx 10mph(i honestly mean first at bat, no warm up swings). Fifth and Sixth at bat 2 more 300 ft plus bombs with wet, semi-soggy balls. Undoubtedly a bargain for $240, you won't go wrong.I chose a 26oz, maybe should have went with the 27oz.
Cons: Maybe the color? Who really cares with this kind of performance. Some cats were making fun of the orange and white
Pros: Good pop on this bat right out of the wrapper i play co ed and the women and men both love to use this bat. graphics are also nice good looking bat.I would recomend this bat
Cons: none yet
Pros: This bat is a homerun waiting to happen. In the 4 games its been used in, it has seen 7 homeruns. I mishit a ball yesterday and swore as I jogged to first thinking it was an easy flyout, then I realized it carried out of the park. Bottom line is: get this bat while you can.
Cons: Everyone complains about the grip. All you need to do is be smart about it. I use football gloves w. this bat and the grip is great. For my teamates who dont use gloves, I got black athletic tape and spiraled it on the grip (it looks and feels much better - - no slip at all)
Pros: Great price, good pop - not excellent. Bought 26oz. and 28oz. 26 is definitely light.
Cons: End cap cracked and rattle appearing in the 26oz. No problems with 28oz (28 had orange sticker, 26 did not).
Pros: Solid Bat! Its not gonna turn you into Albert Pujols but the ball jumps off it quite well. Still being broken in. Used for a bout 5 games. So far so good..
Cons:
Pros: Hot out the wrapper Great feeling bat Looks like it might live up to the hype Switched from a Combat AV(GREAT BAT!)and so far happy with the call
Cons: none so far
Pros: hot bat hits as good as some of my utrip bats ...I have a 26 i have the one with the orange e will update soon
Cons: would like the 27oz
Pros: great sweet spot, no vibrations, feels solid, nice sound, great distance, this bat is hot.
Cons: none.
Pros: This bat is great! Evenly balanced - Great pop - Instantly hot. I have the 26oz and it is by far the smoothest bat I have swung. Pick your target b.c. this bat is true.
Cons: I have to let my "Not so good" teamates use it.
Pros: Bat has amazing pop right out of the wrapper. Also huge sweet spot!
Cons: none
Pros: Best bang for your buck.
Cons: Not the most pop ive felt in a bat, but still good. 7.5 outta 10 for pop
Pros: A teamate in my last tourny had just purchased about 3 weeks before and I swung that against my 3 MONTH old Freak DST and the difference was INCREDABLE!!! before i swung the salvo i was strictly miken..... and the Salvo has opened my eyes.... by far the best bat i have ever and i mean EVER hit!!!! sweet spot was huge and the sound it makes is just music!
Cons: none.... amazing stick!
Pros: The Salvo was hot right out of the wrapper and provided some very good thump. It shipped quickly and arrived ahead of schedule. The grip has a nice feel to it and the bat is weighted perfectly.
Cons: Obviously the price, but if you want a legit bat nowadays it's $200+ or bust. Overall I've got no complaints. I've read about it wearing out with too much use, but nothing bothersome for us yet.
Pros: Best bat for the money BY FAR! We just got one for our team and we were hitting some BP and the ball just launches off this bat. Hot out of the wrapper and now with 150 swings on the bat it is all ready our new go to bat.Sexy looking bat too.
Cons: None, the white tape makes a real nice soft grip.
Pros: I like the feel of the salvo. It has awsome pop out of the wrapper. It does exactly what the handle says " manufactured to hit bombs". I would recomend if you dont have one.... Get one ASAP.
Cons: Kind of wondering how long its going to last.
Pros: Great bat for the price! I used one several times, before I bought my own. Hits very hard and has a good size sweet spot
Cons: Takes some time to break in. I wouldn't go right to a game right out of the wrapper. Use it for BP and beat the heck out of it with a rubber mallet and she tunes just fine. The grip is horrible if you don't wear gloves. It will get sweaty and slippery, then it'll slip and go flying into the infield.
Pros: After 50 swings the bat is as hot as any ive swung, great balance and looks awesome too! 2 games 6-8 2hrs, 3 doubles,
Cons:
Pros: Quickly becoming a team bat! lol. less than 150 hits Huge sweet spot. Limited break-in. Already gave a third baseman some chin music with it oops srry bout that.
Cons: none
Pros: Good looking bat, decent price. When you hit the sweet spot it goes. Difficult these days to find a good ASA approved bat. Bat has nice quiet sound on solid contact.
Cons: I would not say it is hot out of the wrapper, definitely needs break in. Will still give it 4 stars in anticipation.
Pros: just bought today fresh out of the plastic, and i crank my first 2 times at bat to just about the fence at the 300ft mark. if thats not impressive i dont know what is. this bat has a great feel, great pop @ connection, and strait crushes the ball. i can only imagine what this bat will do when its broken in. its a HR beast..better yet they should have named it " the HULK" dont make it angry..lol
Cons: Its like a dorito...once you pop...it wont stop..seriously first day ..brand new...and half my team was using it. over mikens and various other choices.
Pros: had my salvo about a week pulled wrapper off first swing in BP 315 foot bomb after that... average hr 325 foot easy this bat has great flex no hand vibration what so ever by far the best 199.99 bat out there..awsome color awsome grip ...did not even have to Roll the sweet spot....hot out of wrapper
Cons: none what so ever
Pros: Just bought the bat and now braking it in with BP. It has really good pop and distance for a fresh bat. I can not wait for it to be broken in when it comes to game time for fall-ball.
Cons: White handle grip but who cares its has a great tachy feel.
Pros: straight up sick out of the wrapper!!!! would recommend this bat for everybody!
Cons:
Pros: The bat took a couple of rounds of batting practice and a few games to get hot but when it did it felt very good. For the price of the bat you can't go wrong. This is one of the best easton bats i have ever owned and easton really never seemed to thrill me. But this bat seems to be so far so good.
Cons: can't find any yet.
Pros: this bat for $199 is going to be one of the hottest bats out for 2011, it has a very generous sweet spot slight end load. I'm not a real big guy only about 170 but was hitting 300's + easy fresh out of the wrapper it's going to be one of my best bat's at a much cheaper price than any of my other bat's highly recommend to any type of hitter.
Cons: The white grip was dirty the first few rounds of bp but it's an easy fix.
Pros: Great pop out of the wrapper, sound of the ball hitting the bat is amazing
Cons: Havent found one
Pros: bought bat 2 months ago the girls on my coed team like it because it is pretty
Cons: this bats just does not hit good i dont know if it is just because my worth toxic is that much better or what the feel is real stiff sweet spot is small i wish i would have saved my money and bought something else i bought this bat because of all the hype for $200 o yea it has the orange cap that everyone says is the one u want
Pros: Best bat for the price as long as you get one with the orange e on the endcap. this bat ranks up there with my synergy speed bh for 100 less!
Cons: none
Pros: Bought 3 bats for a lower league tourney and the guy's loved them. They were the only bats allowed they were allowed to play with. After 8 games and 60 hits per game they held up great. The winning team got one, I sold the other (could have sold 5 if I had had them) and I kept the other for myself. Paint on the handle knob could be better, but overall very satisfied.
Cons:
Pros: Needed a new ASA approved bat after my synergy finally shot craps. The salvo is awesome. Fairly decent pop out of the wrapper (averaging anywhere between 275'-290'); but after a few dozen off the tee, the bat's performing unbelievably well. First 3 hits were over a 300' fence. Definitely a great bat. That's not even considering all the compliments i'm getting on how great the bat looks.
Cons: First dozen off the tee made me realize batting gloves are a necessity for the grip it comes with. The grip also needs a good wipe down after each use just to keep it clean.
Pros: AMAZING BAT!!! Crushing them to the fence and over!!!!!! One of Easton's best!
Cons: White grip, but does it really matter?
Pros: I got the 30 oz and it feels lighter than my other 30oz. It is perfect. Got it last week and used it yesterday for the first time. All my teammates liked it too.
Cons: Haven't found any cons yet.
Pros: beautiful crack when making contact, line drives are ridiculously hard off the bat.The ball jumps off the bat.
Cons: it's not hot right out of the wrapper. needed about 150 to 200 swings to break it in and see the results i was looking for. felt a little vibration when hitting off the tee.
Pros: OH wow.. this bat is wayy hot. I'm not a big power hitter so no bombs for me yet but had a teammate use it last night. he hit an absolute missle over the fence (300 ft). If you dont have one, get one. If you dont you are missing out.
Cons: none
Pros: I bought the Salvo in May. This bat is still on fire! I am by no means a power hitter and I'm making home runs look easy with this bat. I've swung a lot of bats but none like the Salvo. Easton did a wonderful job on this one.
Cons: none
Pros: Used the Salvo for the first time in playoff game. Has good pop right out of the wrapper. Found the sweet spot on my third at bat, tripled off the fence, also a single and double in other 2 at bats
Cons: none so far
Pros: I was very skeptical at first with the first few swings and I have used a lot of bats. I'm really impressed- best ASA bat for the price. This does swing light so don't be afraid to stick with your normal swing weight. One of the best performing ASA bats I've used and seen being used.
Cons: None
Pros: Awesome bat great pop right out of the box. Great for line drives, excellent control.
Cons: none
Pros: This bat feels great and is a dream to hit with. I've never hit one out in my life and tonight I hit two out with this bat. If you put a good swing on it, the ball is going to go!
Cons: None, it's perfect. I feel like I can hit it out everytime.
Pros: Great pop right out of the wrapper. Mis-hits on the handle still feel good. Better than most ASA bats out with a great price.
Cons: None so far.
Pros: This bat is good right out of the wrapper, wasn't sure on picking it up or not cause I've never heard anything on it but its an awesome bat. Dropping bombs with bat, best 2 bills I've spent on a bat. Cant wait to break it in.
Cons: NONE
Pros: Hottest bad out of the wrapper that I have ever swung.Three balls off the fence at 300 ft and then the bat seemed to really come to life after about 20 swings.I am not a power hitter but with this bat you really can't help but put it over the fence. I am going to buy another one in a few weeks because you are not going to be able to find these come the spring time.
Cons: not really a complaint just a heads up if you are thinking of buying one. if you get a 27ounce you are going to swear you are swining a 26.It swings alot lighter than the weight indicates.
Pros: Best bat i've ever used. it's hot right out of the wrapper and has great pop
Cons: None
Pros: always had warning track power until now. Hit 5 homers in 3 games.
Cons: the barrel cracked in just the 12th game
Pros: Power. I have always had pull power out of the park. First at bat, right out of the wrapper I hit the opposite field fence. Second at bat went yard opposite field. Two team mates also raved about the pop right out of the wrapper and are going to add this bat to there collection.
Cons: I am not a big fan of the grip. The white padded tape doesn't feel durable. i will probably re-tape this bat before next season.
Pros: the bat is absolutly a beast. we got one of these midway thru the season and several teams from our league challenged our bats. we had them banned for one game until we could prove to the league the salvo was legit. the other squad we mercied 18 to 3 couldnt belive we had that power all of a suden. that should tell ya something rite there. our whole league thought we were cheating. the bat is sick
Cons: no cons unless your league cant understand what a good bat is.
Pros: Really a great bat after I broke it in a lot of pop .
Cons: I got nothing
Pros: You will not be disappointed with this bat. Excellent feel and the sound is very unique. First Easton that I have owned and now wont be the last...
Cons: After 250 cuts no complaints...
Pros: Bat needs a slight break in period. But after that the ball takes off. One of the best bats for the dollar amount and power that this bat has.
Cons: Bat grip will get very dirty had the bat cap split and chip while playing in vegas this fall.Still can't explain that one.
Pros: i played during the fall season with this bat it's a very good line drive bat. the bat is promising but as far as power i can't say i see it yet.
Cons: it takes time to break in. i had an easton synergy extended which unfortunate cracked and i don't see this bat coming close to touching that bat.
Pros: hot out of the wrapper hitting bombs 330' my first time swinging it , cant wait for the seasson to start
Cons: none
Pros: It was good out of the wrapper, but gets better after every game. I would recommend getting a few swings in before using it in a game ... I haven't had any problems with the grip, despite what other people have been saying ... The 400 day warranty is also a nice touch (make sure you register the purchase w/ Easton)
Cons: None so far
Pros: This bat was really hot out of the wrapper. Other team mates have used it and agree. Made a difference in my game....
Cons: None
Pros: Hits the ball hard. Keeps my teammates from swinging my mandingo. Will let you know how far it can go after break in. Launching balls in the 310 range at first bp today.
Cons: You should be able to request the Orange end cap. We got ours with it from justbats.com.
Pros: Last year playing fall ball, bunch of guys using the Salvo 27 oz., crushing homerun after homerun.finally tried the bat and could not believe the pop and distance on this bat. even the mis-hits were great line drives, went out and bought 2 of them right away. this bat feels like a usssa bat , no question, one of the best bats ever swung. not sure about the salvo's without the orange dot.the one the team was using had the orange.worth Mayham 98 and the NRG 98 have nothing on this bat ....
Cons: everyone on the team wants to hit with it ... will have to seen how long this bat will hold up...
Pros: Great balance and feel.
Cons: Cracked after 10 pitches.
Pros: We used this bat as a replacement for the Freak 98 which finally gave out on us. Only thing to say is my whole team digs this bat. Great feel, great pop and great all around bat by Easton. I have some MONSTER HR's come off this bat. Well worth the $199
Cons: NONE so far except ours broke in the first 4 weeks but every single player was using it
Pros: Just got back into softball after 5 years and heard alot of good things about this bat, and so far after 1 indoor tourny and about 60-75 hits it has been great.I am a line drive hitter and it has pop to help with that.
Cons: none.
Pros: Excellent bat. Broke in quickly and has excellent pop and a large sweet spot.
Cons: Grip is terrible. Removed and taped the handle.
Pros: I used this model last year, warning track power before. With this bat 3 out of 4 off of the fence, one way out. This was on a longer field than I normally play. On the regular field, all would have been out!! Can't wait for this season to begin! Buy this bat, you'll be amazed at the difference it makes!
Cons: None yet, I will need to learn how to replace the grip, as I can tell it will get dirty quickly.
Pros: HOT OUT OF THE WRAPPER..ITS TRUE..I DIDNT BELIEVE THE HYPE EITHER BUT....NO JOKE TOOK IT TO A ROUND OF BP...1ST PITCH HARD LINEDRIVE...NEXT 5 SWINGS..STRAIGHT BOMBS 315+..HAD ALL THE MIKEN LOVERS HATING..HAHA..AND ITS STILL GETTING HOTTER..GREAT OPPO BAT FOR ME..MUST HAVE FOR ASA..AND YOU CANT BEAT THE PRICE.
Cons: NONE YET.
Pros: Balance and swing weight very good, no vibration. After 100 hits bat is starting to improve. Has great potential.
Cons: None
Pros: I told my team that I was the first to swing with this bat because I paid for it. First at bat, first swing, going, going gone. Fresh out of the wrapper and I hit a bomb. 6 more home runs from my team with this bat. If you are going to buy a bat, this should be it. Guys on the team are going to buy this bat. I will purchase another one before season ends to have for the future. This bat is sick!!!
Cons: My whole team wants to use this bat.
Pros: This sure doesn't hit like a 200 dollar bat....I bought one last week and finally took it out to hit off a tee....first 20 or so hits were decent but after another 20 the bat woke up.....never used easton I've always hit demarini....not anymore....oh and I'm buying two more of these before they disappear
Cons: None yet.....except for maybe the fact my softball league doesn't start for 2 more weeks and I have to wait to use it in a game.
Pros: Amazing bat! it's the only bat my team uses!
Cons: None! darn close to perfect!
Pros: great pop. we opened it at the field. was able to drive the ball and once it got broke in homers. i'm a smaller guy and everyone can hit with it.
Cons: none at the time.
Pros: great pop. good price. everyone liked it on my team.
Cons: none really. takes a couple hundred hit to break in.
Pros: I bought this bat last year for league and after i finally got it broken in it hit perfect. Doesnt give you more distance than any other but perfect for a league bat.
Cons: Took alot of bp to finally break it in
Pros: Of all the composite bats I have used this one is a beast. I never hit home runs and I did a few times with this one . Line drives have too much zip for infielders to handle...
Cons: Like a lot of power bats ur asking for long out when you use this bat cause everyone see it and backs up . Also I tend to pop up a lot u have to really find its spot. It's a do or die bat. It's still my top choice tho
Pros: Hit ball hard right out of the wrapper. Nice weight distrubution, and plenty of power. Even though it broke I still really enjoy using it, and can't wait to get my new one, Easton return policy is very easy. Thanks Easton
Cons: Broke it within first month, strated to rattle.
Pros: I have had the bat for a month and love it. Outstanding pop right out of the wrapper. Swings great. Has a great feel at contact. If you want power or consistant placement this is your bat.
Cons: None so far.
Pros: I heard Easton wanted to make this bat like the old synergy bats so I had to try it for myself,I got a 28oz.with the orange 'E'and it is awesome and hits major bombs.it's about 20-30 ft. better than my demarini flyswatter.
Cons: None!!!
Pros: One of the top ASA bats I ever used. My team averages 5 to 6 bombs a game (300-360 feet) with sorry worn out balls.
Cons: None
Pros: Just unwrapped it and took my first swing was 300 plus home run. Good contact and the ball is flying. The best bat overall i've ever used and has replaced the synergy clear for sure.
Cons: if u miss the sweet spot the bat has a sting in the handle still worth the pain!!!!
Pros: Straight out of the wrapper-1st at bat line shot to left field, 2nd at bat-its outta here, DEAD CENTER field (and im no where near a home run hitter!!)...2 more shots out the park, one a rope down left field, another OVER the trees- quickly became the TEAM bat- even over MIKEN FREAK!! Forget the price BUY THIS BAT!! LOTS of POP!!
Cons: everyone will use it!! but still a "pro" cuz that just means its a GREAT bat!!!
Pros: Great feel on SS contact, decent shots yet requires break in - White gripe tape? Mine's gray maybe Easton switched mid stream {06/10 manufacture date] why would someone want their bat to stay clean?
Cons: Concerned about durability in N ID's cooler climate - Bright orange graphics attracting team mate attention, grrr
Pros: This bat simply comes out the wrapper hot. Just getting back into softball and most people were telling me to go with another manufactuer but got a great deal on mine and took it. So far have not been disappointed this bat holds up to all the ASA bats that hang on the rack at gametime.
Cons: People who don't understand that sometimes money don't buy you the hottest bat.
Pros: Great bat for the price... To this point I have no complaints
Cons: none
Pros: Great bat solid and looks great. For the price one of the best.
Cons:
Pros: Very solid feel when the sweetspot is hit, players on my team are hitting home runs that never hit them before.
Cons:
Pros: I unwrapped the bat and used it for the first time on my first at bat in a tournament. It had great power and a nice sweet spot. I'm a placement hitter that hits a lot of line drives and for me, this bat is perfect.
Cons: None so far.
Pros: The Ball instantly hits over 300 outta the wrapper. Best ASA bat I have ever used. I was hitting the ball out of a college baseball field from hit one. This bat will make everyone hit longer.
Cons: None.
Pros: Unwrapped this bat yesterday and hit around 40 or 50 balls and the ball jumped off the bat right out of the wrapper. No exaggeration! A friend had this bat and after weeks of trying to decide on a bat I finally gave into the salvo and it doesn't look like i'm going to regret it.
Cons: NONE!
Pros: Bang for the buck! Huge sweet spot, smooth contact, great pop straight out of the wrapper!
Cons: ZERO!
Pros: Nice pop out of the wrapper. Takes a few swings to find the sweet spot. Used it in BP today, had my whole team swing it in order to break it in. By the 6th person (approx 100 swings), this bat was connecting nicely. Looking forward to using it more. Great value.
Cons: None
Pros: HOT BAT! I know there are over 100 reviews on here saying the same thing, but I'm telling you folks this will be the best $200.00 you've ever spent on a bat. After the 1st two games using "team" Walmart bats I decided to get this baby and last night drove the first pitch I saw to the fence and didn't even really connect with it all that great! The ball literally JUMPS off this thing! 10 STARS!!!!!
Cons: Having to share it with the team. But whatever it takes to win!
Pros: WOW, it is an awsome Bat, great job Easton, like the many other quotes, I too, on the first night right out of the wrapper hit three dingers and the rest of the team hit five, highly recommend it for anybody.
Cons: none
Pros: Pros: This bat is great! Evenly balanced - Great pop - Instantly hot after 50 BP. I have the 26oz and it is by far the smoothest bat I have swung.
Cons: None
Pros: Feels great on contact. Decent pop out of wrapper.
Cons: Miss hits are unforgiving.
Pros: As others said, it has pop out of the wrapper. My FIRST swing put the ball off the fence at 277ft. I can't wait for it to break in. EVERYONE in my coed team started using it since at 34/27oz it swings light. Everyone was getting solid hits with it. Definitely delivers. I can't wait until we get more swings in to loosen it up some more.
Cons: None so far. I am still feeling it out but that first swing made me a believer.
Pros: My buddy just got this bat and straight out of the wrapper it was crushing the ball. This bat has a great feel and even mis hits feel good. Honestly its scary how much pop this bat has for being an ASA bat.
Cons:
Pros: I think this is a great bat. Lots of pop right out the wrapper. Feels great every swing even if you hit it off the handle or the tip.
Cons:
Pros: This bat warmed up quick and definitely has a balanced swing feel to it and moves effortlessly through the ball. Added about 25' from a junky walmart easton cyclone without breaking it in.
Cons: Well, the FIRST day I used it I broke it. Something came loose inside and is making a rattling sound. Maybe 50 hits in before this happened in an ASA game.
Pros: everything about this bats a pro. the paint looks great, its got a great sweetspot im not even a hundred hits into the bat and hitting the warning track(275ft) (im not a power hitter, i put it in play shallow outfield so its great being able to put it over people when they move in on you) its end loaded for the extra power.
Cons: the only con for this would be to not own this bat.
Pros: I never thought I would spend this kind of money for a bat.I usually buy the reflex,But this bat lives up to the hype.I highly recommend this bat!
Cons: none
Pros: This bat is well constructed with enormous pop
Cons: cost?
Pros: Great from the get go. Bought this as a Mothers day gift from my kids. Have had nothing but good luck with it. Harder and father line drives. I play on a Coed team and have converted many of my teammates from Miken and Demarini to EASTON. I was actually surfing for a Demarini after my EASTON ZCORE finally broke and just stumpled on this one. I have the Stealth Speed XL SSR2 as well and they are the bats fought over. Great sweet spot, balanced well. Has a good grip. I saw some Cons on the white grip, your playing in the dirt, what do you expect. Great bat for the price!
Cons: Nothing so far.
Pros: hot outta the wrapper smooth swinging bat with a nice sized sweet spot
Cons: almost all of my team wants to use it
Pros: An update from April 3, 2011. I started Revolution Salvo. 5 guys bought this bat because they either used mine and love it or they heard from a teammate of mine that uses it. Can't beat this bat for the price. People continually are in awe of how good this bat is and find out it cost $200. Buy this bat before they stop making them. They are going to skyrocket like the Synergy OG 2005 when done.
Cons:
Pros: I'm 5'11" and weigh 145lbs and hit 300ft shots with this bat. Awesome bat for the $$$ and the hottest ASA bat I've swung without being shaved or rolled. I've got around 200 cuts with it and its just gettin better.
Cons: None yet
Pros: have had this bat for awhile now and each time up with it just keeps getting hotter, have used some other bats in the league and i just cant put the salvo down. great bat and nice feel to it love the grip thinking of buying another one and if u dont have one get one for the price its the best out there.
Cons: hate seeing the sight of scratches on the bat its to good looking it scratches to easy
Pros: This bat is amazing!!! Has awsome pop, and great distance. You barely have to put any muscle into it and the ball goes sailing!! Also love the sound it makes on a solid hit. Great Stick for sure!!!
Cons: None, even made our bad hitters good base hitters!!!
Pros: FANTASTIC...at first I was worried because it didn't feel quite right...after getting it broken in I am able to knock them out from both sides of the plate...
Cons: handle is a little slick with sweaty hands
Pros: Bought it last weekend. First game was Monday, and played with it straight out of the wrapper, as did most of my team. No HR's, but a few close calls. Took it to BP last night, and wow, we were tearing it up. Line drives hitting the fence, some for HR's. Hit a few planes (sarcasm) on some HR's. Put one about 300+. And it's not even really broken it yet! Great pop.
Cons: Grip is somewhat sticky, but who cares? Wear a batting glove. Only problem I've seen is that everyone else will drop their bats and start using this one.
Pros: First game with it was tonight. 3 bombs, got jammed on one at-bat. The bat looks and feels great. If you hit it on the screws with this one, it'll fly.
Cons: Not a con --- just haven't put any mileage on it yet, so don't know about durability.
Pros: Hot right out of the wrapper. Great bat for different styles of hitting, from power to base hits. It gets the job done.
Cons:
Pros: Very well balanced. Quick break in. Great graphics on the bat. Easy to sop with orange handle bottom. Great sound when ball is hit well.
Cons: None so far.
Pros: Great feel, weight distribution. Out of the wrapper, it's nice, but needs break in. Maybe 50 hits. It'll be a hot bat, just needs some BP time.
Cons: None.
Pros: Lots of pop and quickly becoming a team bat. A little bit of a break in period.
Cons: Took it out for batting practice to break it in and after about 150 swings, I have noticed some stress line around the sweet spot. Has me wondering how long the bat will last.
Pros: Great balanced bat. Very popular with the team as more of us have recently purchased it.
Cons: No real cons, but it runs a little lite. So if want a 27 oz weight, buy a 28 oz bat.
Pros: Love the bat had great pop right out of the box!!
Cons:
Pros: Hot right out of the box,pop just like the $300 bats for $100 less. Everything all the reviews say it is.
Cons: All the bats are 34 in therefore the wall on the 30 oz. seems a lil thicker and harder to hit with and to break in than the lighter salvo's. So make sure you have the right weight. I suggest estimating down rather than up because of the end load.
Pros: The bat arrived the afternoon of our 1st game, and I didn't have a chance to hit bp with it. I hit hard grounders the first 2 a.b.s and then a couple of liners up the middle. I wasn't expecting much with a new bat, but by the second game we started hitting 310'-315' hr's. Even unbroken in, this is easily the best bat we have.
Cons: I wish I would've bought a heavier salvo at the same time too.
Pros: Was great right out of the wrapper, but after a few games we're hitting the ball as far as the cheaters with their shaved/rolled bats. For $200, can't beat it. Love the Salvo!!!
Cons: None
Pros: Didn't believe that this could be as good as the USSSA bats, but my first hit with it was the furthest bomb I've hit since we've changed to the yellow ASA balls. Only played 2 games with it, but so far I'm impressed.
Cons: scratches on this awesome looking bat are a shame.
Pros: One of the best all around ASA bats that I have found. Great Price too. Would recomend this bat to players of any skill level.
Cons: None
Pros: Good pop out of the wrapper. Nice balanced swing feel.
Cons: Durability issues on the cap especially. Be careful what you wish for with hot out of the wrapper, generally means durability concerns.
Pros: This bat is one of the hottest ASA bats out. Great pop right out of the box. Sounds great also. Has huge sweet spot....got jammed in a game and still put it over the fence about 300ft. Now my teammates are even using it. Also love the small knob.
Cons: just the grip too soft so I changed it to regular sports tape.
Pros: great grip on the handle. the end load adds to bat lag through the zone increasing power. pretty quick break in, i have had it for a couple months and felt it start to gain more pop within a few games. also for those who care.. the bright orange and grey make the appearance of the bat pretty awesome. for the price, you cannot beat the performance of the Salvo
Cons: the finish seems to scratch easily.
Pros: Hot bat . Hitting a lot of line drive gap shots. Other team members want to use this bat.
Cons: This bat definetly needs a break in period. After first game the end cap came loose and makes twanging sound.
Pros: great bat, huge sweet spot. Only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 is because it still needs about 250 to 500 swings to be broken in.
Cons: can't think of any yet.
Pros: Used my buddies Salvo and hit 3 jacks the first week and thought well maybe I just got ahold of em....the next week hit 3 again. all but one were line drives over a 310 high fence. This week I will be getting my own.
Cons: Really gotta watch where you stand in the box. You need extension to make this bat really "pop" . Not really a con just a bit of advice.
Pros: Bought the bat for our final regular season game and the playoffs. Came out of the wrapper with plenty of pop and played a key role in us bringing home a championship.
Cons:
Pros: Great bat, hot outta the wrapper. Ive hit bombs with this bats, i also have the srv3 Brett helmer and this bat (for the Money) is better than that. I would have bought this first if i had know the potential it has.
Cons: Broke endcap on 300 ish hits, heard about the new endcaps o the newer bats were bad. had no reciept and easton warrantied the bat anyways.
Pros: solid bat, reccomend. Power hitters on the team have just used it and knock them out. Goodout of the wrapper and can"t wait toil more broken in..
Cons: non so far.
Pros: Great bat at a great price. Lot's of pop after a break in and it really seems to be durable. It seemed like every team in our league had one of these, sometimes two! Home run pop and great weighting.
Cons: Grip is a little suspect.
Pros: The best ASA bat I have used so far. Took about 100-150 hits to be totally broken in and on fire.
Cons: Sweet spot is not as big as some bats, but still fairly forgiving
Pros: Great bat. I go for the hit rather than the fences.
Cons: Too many team mates want to use MY bat!
Pros: This bat is one of the best you can buy for ASA leagues. Great for line drives and hard grounders for the smaller guys.
Cons: For the guys who can go deep this bat will not impress you that much. The inloaded weight came loose after about 10 games. However, easton has a great warranty.
Pros: Nice bat. Pop out of the wrapper. Can't wait for it to break in. Bought the 27oz. and was used to a 26 oz. dbl. wall Demarini. Found I had to adjust my stance due to quickness and pulling.
Cons: ------
Pros: My friend had a salvo first time i swang it hit one out... second time hit one out... bought one of my own and only one since then... it feels great in your hands but i think it needs a break in period
Cons: to long to break in
Pros: hot bat
Cons:
Pros: Price is right. If you know how to swing a bat and make contact, you can't go wrong with this bat. People that complane about this bat need to learn how to hit a softball first. There is no bat out there that can give you skill if you don't have any.
Cons:
Pros: Had no issues with payment and bat arrived two days earlier than promised. I have used it twice since buying and can't keep the rest of the team away from it. Has decent pop right out of the package.
Cons: None. Have only had the bat for two weeks, but it seems like a good purchase so far.
Pros: Awesome bat! what can i say that hasnt already been said, not bad out of the wrapper..really heats up after 60+ cuts. hitting over 35ft building at 285 ft.
Cons: None.
Pros: Hits hard, lot of pop, and very reliable
Cons: None
Pros: Great pop but needs a little break in. The third sway was a huge 375 ft. homer. After about 200 hits the team is absolutely crushing the ball. Worth every penny. I also used a bat mallet for most of the break in.
Cons: Has a smaller sweet spot then most and it hurts like h*ll when you miss hit. Hopefully the sweet spot will increase with more break in time.
Pros: Great bat! First used it when I was invited to play on another team in a tourney. I used to sneak my Ultra into games... but not any more! This baby has pop, no need for the Ultra II any more! Thanks Easton! I've got my own now! Recommended!
Cons:
Pros: Good balance and feel with a lot of pop. Solid sound and feel with contact. Broke in with 75 1/2 speed cuts & 75 3/4 speed cuts so can't really comment on 'out of the wrapper' pop.
Cons: None so far.
Pros: Looks good. Received a grey handle instead of white.
Cons: After 10 or 12 swings , the bat rattled. Tapped it on the ground (on the handle end) and it buzzed. Very disappointed after all the positive reviews it received. I don't buy bats very often...I thought this would be the one for me. I plan on returning it to Easton very soon and hope they can repair or replace it. Will it do it again is the question?
Pros: Ive hit 30 balls off this bats and 20 have been bombs so I Love It and would recommend it to anyone..
Cons:
Pros: Cheap bat. Not a bad option if you are strapped for cash.
Cons: Don't expect miracles. Does not come close to high end composites that are out there.
Pros: love the bat!!!!!!!!!!!
Cons: nothing negative, other than UPS leavin it on my porch...
Pros: Great pop most of my team uses it even over the most expensive bats. Nice sweet spot really drives the ball whether base hit or over the fence. Very satisfied with the bat and price.
Cons:
Pros: This bat is probably the best bat I've ever hit. Right out of the wrapper it's incredible. I see a lot of people say it's not hot out of the wrapper. If that's the case I'm anxious to see what it'll be doing after about 150-200 hits. I highly recommend anyone looking for a good balanced bat, with serious pop, for a good price, to buy this bat.
Cons: Everyone playing on your team is going to want to use it so I suggest buying one for yourself and getting a pool together to buy another one for your team.
Pros: Good solid, responsive bat. I've enjoyed hitting with it...and so have my teammates!
Cons: None so far!
Pros: hot out of wrapper, good look and feel
Cons:
Pros: Feels great right out of the wrapper. This is my second Salvo and both have been amazing for my team and myself.
Cons:
Pros: Awesome bat right outta the wrapper, cranking bombs the first night, way more power than i ever had!
Cons: After 80 to 100 swings, the end cap broke. Sending it in for replacement, Easton says they will only replace it twice, hope my luck gets better
Pros: I used this bat for the first time from a fellow teammate and loved it so much that I had to buy it for myself. My hits really fly with this bat and it does indeed have a large sweet spot that is pretty forgiving. It's also really comfortable to hold and swing.
Cons: Orange is not my favorite color but it does make it easy to find among other bats :)
Pros: This is the best bat I have ever used. Unfortanately with the new rules this bat wont be used next year, so I just bought the asa & usssa salvo 2013 and am pumped for them to come in.
Cons: None
Pros: I did a lot of research before deciding on the salvo as the bat for my team. It might be the smartest thing I've done. I'm a line drive hitter and while I haven't hit a homerun, I have noticed some extra distance. The Salvo is highly recommended. The hype is justified.
Cons: Not neccessarily a con, the bat took a bit of breaking in but not as much as other bats I've used.
Pros: Bat is unbelievable .. Bat feels solid right out of the wrapper. Took about 50 - 100 hits at a practice and then the ball started flying over the fence. For the price, this bat is a must buy!
Cons:
Pros: great out of the wrapper..even better when broken in...graphics are awesome. one recommendation is if your not sure what weight you like, i would suggest a 26oz..i have a 28oz and its amazing how different 2oz's makes that much of a difference. but my whole team toggles between that bat and a mike
Cons: white grip gotta go
Pros: Great pop for the price right away like most say. I use the 30oz.
Cons: Broke after 200 swings or less.
Pros: best bat going for the price out hit more expencsive bats
Cons: their are none !!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: Bought this bay 3/2012 and just had it for my 1st BP. Everyone on my coed team was using it by the time we were done. Awesome out of the wrapper and will only get better. Highly recommend.
Cons: none so far
Pros: just bought this bat three weeks ago crazy pop out of wraper first week of play i batted .833 with two triples.
Cons: hits are farther so alot more running.lol
Pros: Love this bat. For the price you can't beat the salvo. It is hot out of the wrapper but it definitely gets hotter with more swings. First bp I put 3 out with it, and quite a few pop ups. Last week we had our 5th and final bp and out of 35 pitches i put 15 out and 6 screamers off the fence. This bat will hit bombs, but if you are a hard line drive hitter, you will fall in love with this bat.
Cons: None
Pros: Great bat,great price
Cons: none
Pros: I have been a Demarini guy all my life and came across a good deal for this bat. I must say the Demarini now stays in the bag. This bat has great pop.
Cons:
Pros: This is a nice bat. Im killing it with this bat. Never hit this many out. This is a sweet hitting bat. Now even the guys that have paid big money on other bats are using my bat. This has become a team bat and its still holding up after 2 years and alot of hits on it.
Cons: some people say hot out of wrapper but after couple hundred this bat really started taking off.
Pros: Im only gonna leave a short review right now as I only got to use it for about 6 games so far and it only has about 300 hits on it. About half my team prefers it. It has good pop, ground usually fly by the infielders before they ever get a chance to react. It's getting hotter as it gets more use and the weather warms up. I will leave a more accurate review half way through the summer league as I know its only gonna get better over time.
Cons: My only complaint is that I have heard rumors that this bat will no longer be legal in ASA governed leagues and thats what I play in. If I would have known this before I bought the bat I would have probably gone a different route.
Pros: Mad Pop
Cons: nope
Pros: This is an awesome bat. The sound and the feel are perfect. I am not a HR hitter but i have some pop maybe 5 Hr's a season but this bat really opens the field up for me. It gives me the ability to use the whole field. It is just as good hitting line drives as it is for power. Most of the team uses this bat now. (the others use the Red Miken II) It really opened up after 300 hits and the temp the better. I have well over 500 hits and it still looks and feels good.
Cons: Not as hot as people say out of the wrapper, with that said, don't give up on it because it gets much better after 50 to 100 hits.
Pros: This bat takes very little time to break in, when it does this bat can rock-n-roll.
Cons:
Pros: this bat rocks, nice feel and power
Cons: zero
Pros: Good pop for a 200$ bat.
Cons: I do notttttt like the way this bat swings. Everyone says it is like the OG Synergy Extended, I don't see it, nor do I feel it at all.
Pros: bat is very evenly weighted. I got the 27 ounce, feels light but hits like a heavy bat. Nice swing and power to the bat, was broken in right away and the ball flies off the bat.
Cons: Everyone on the team wants to use it
Pros: i have a 28oz and its very light and easy to swing. awesome awesome pop out of wrapper.
Cons: white tape not smart was dirty before i could get it out of the store. got about 100 swings on it before it started to make a rattle sound about halfway up the bat sending it back for a new one.
Pros: Bat was HOT from the first time used.
Cons:
Pros: Great bat that was pretty hot out of the wrapper, but does need to be broke in. When I first took it out I hit a couple that went 300+ and a lot of great line drive base hits. I've been hitting balls off a tee with it to get it broke in and in our game last night I kept them on the ground for base hits so I haven't tried for distance since I've hit more with it, but the grounders were hot and squeeze through the infield with eeze. This is a great hybrid bat that will get you base hits or take it out if you need it.
Cons: None so far.
Pros: this bat is hot we are going to buy 3 more for our team.
Cons: none as of now.
Pros: I used the 28oz and it was absolutely awesome. 1st at bat I hit a line drive homerun and 2nd ab a liner that nearly killed a poor 3rdbaseman. Thank god he had quick reflexes. This bat wear is name : it hits like a canon shot. It was used for 3 games before I used it. So if it was not broke in.... wow when it does. Great feel, great sound.
Cons: It was a friend's bat, not mine so now I need to find one !!
Pros: Awesome, may buy another for backup!!
Cons: none
Pros: Great bat for a great price. Has great pop even before breaking it in. I'm a line drive hitter and this bat fits me perfectly.
Cons: I wouldn't use this as a team bat. Our team bought one and it's already on its last leg in a half of a season. If you use it as your personal bat you will really enjoy it.
Pros: great swing. love the bat broke in after about 50 hits.
Cons: grip stinks in my opinion. so i removed it but other than that i have excellent things to say about it.
