We would suggest that you use a 33" but can also go down to a 32" in the 2014 Easton S400 (SL14S400) Senior League if it feels more comfortable.

All-small barrel bats must be stamped with 'Approved for Play in Dixie Youth Baseball' and stamped 'BPF 1.15.' The 2014 Easton S400 is a big barrel bat, so it will not have the "Approved for Play in Dixie Youth Baseball" stamped on it.

The 2014 Easton S400 (SL14S400) model will be legal for play in the Junior League (ages 12-14) division of Little league. However, it is not approved for play in the Major (ages 9-12) division.

The 2014 Easton S400: (SL14S400) and 2014 Easton S500: (SL14S500) will both be excellent choices for power hitters. Both of these bats incorporate a one-piece alloy design and will be very balanced. The biggest difference will be in the overall material that is used in the construction and the grip design. The 2014 Easton S400 will use 7046 aircraft alloy and have a cushioned tack grip, but the 2014 Easton S500 will use 7050 air craft alloy and have a pro tack grip.

In terms of construction and material the 2014 Easton S400: (SL14S400) will be pretty similar to the Rawlings VELO: (SLVEL9) and Louisville Slugger TPX Omaha: (SL126XL). All three of these models will be one-piece alloy designs. The biggest difference will be the types of alloy used in the construction. The Louisville Slugger TPX Omaha: (SL126XL) will incorporate ST+20 Alloy, whereas the Rawlings VELO: (SLVEL9) and 2014 Easton S400: (SL14S400) will use 5150 Alloy, and 7046 Aircraft Alloy.
